I had my panels installed 3 weeks ago now and I couldn't be happier with the service..Zachary and his team did what they say and said what they did..Everything was explained in detail with no surprises. From start to finish this company made the process seamless and simple.

We had a great experience with NY Solar. Never felt pressured. Our project manager Alex Lubin always took time to answer my questions (which were a lot sometimes). We are saving $$ and love our panels.

Glad I made the switch to solar

I was very reluctant to do solar panels, mostly due to the financial commitment. Without any pressure from Alex Lubin, he was very courteous and helpful. He answered many of my extremely details, specific, and probably neurotic questions I had, no matter what time it was. The estimated savings and production was almost exact, within 5%. Between the fed and state rebates and the relative short amount of time to get the install done (6 months from consulting to final install for inspection), Everything worked out better than I expected. My summer monthly bill dropped by over 50% (south facing roof with no trees in the backyard) and I am glad I kept an open mind and converted

Excellent company

I was interested in solar but didn’t think it was affordable any more. I saw my neighbor getting solar panels installed by NY State Solar and I reached out to them for more info. I met with Alex Lubin and was convinced to make the move once he explained the cost structure and the ease of the process. Happy that I made the decision.

Great program where savings can be realized in short term.

This is a genuinely good company to the core. I’m so glad we gave them a chance to explain all the benefits of their solar program. There just wasn’t any good reason to not go with this program. Chris Wen is also a genuinely nice guy and I never felt like he was a salesman but just a friend looking out for my best interests throughout the entire process. The installers were very professional and every visual detail looks spot on. Right off the bat, that gave me confidence the system would perform to its spec for a long time. We just had our system turned on today and I started monitoring our solar production through an app. Panels are producing above their rating even with some overcast. So far, everything that was promised has been beyond my expectations. I couldn’t be happier.

NY State Solar was incredible! The representative that I dealt with, Alex, was wonderful. He's really good about keeping you updated with everything that is going along and easily helps you through the process in terms of paperwork. Had a little bit of a delay getting them installed due to Covid but they made the transition seamless once installation was able to go underway. Highly recommend them!

6 months now and we couldn’t be happier with Solar. From start to finish Alex Lubin and NYSS we’re professional, courteous and communicative. NYSS did all our applications & paperwork. Hytech Solar did our physical install at the end of January. Besides the hardware on your roof the system comes with a fantastic online service, Enlighten by Enphase which enables you to monitor your system. Once you sign up you can view usage and solar collection data!! A very powerful tool. Hopefully more people go solar and if you do i would highly recommend New York State Solar.

Super Smooth Process

Working with Alex Lubin and the team has been a pleasure. Never thought I’d go solar, but it happened. They held my hand throughout the whole process, and it has been super smooth. The installers were excellent and took a lot of care during the installation. This whole thing has been a great experience, and I highly recommend them.

Simple and Easy No Costs Out of Pocket

I was always interested in solar but the costs were to high to have it installed but thanks to NY Solar I didn’t have to lay out any money and will save money in years to come.

Jack and the team are professional. He explained all the processes and kept you status updated. He answered all the questions I had. Finally we decided to go with 20 panels. Once you decided, the process is super simple and easy. All you need just to sign a few paperwork and wait. With the app on the phone, you can check the panels status easily. Geart experience!!!

Amazing and professional team to work with!

Our solar panels are up and working and we couldn’t be happier! Jack Aranya was the project manager we worked with and he was there to answer any and all questions at every step of the way! Jack would even answer my questions on his days off and I would later find out he was not even working that day. My project manager, Joseph Hawes, was polite, well-informed, and understanding. Being completely new to solar installation, he explained the full process to me thoroughly, created estimates that were on point, explained and helped point me to the right direction for financing, helped connect us with local installers, and continued to support us even post-installation. Working with Joe and NYSS was a good experience and overall, we are very happy with our project!

NY Solar dud a great job in explaining the whole process - explaining tax benefits and cost, obtaining loan, setting us up with installer. The installer did a wonderful job - very quick. We are saving substantially on our electric power. Highly recommend.

Matteo Dibono was a great sales person walking us through the process step by step and explained Installation was painless and quick. the installer explained the whole system and how to monitor on app.

We had a great, seamless experience. We worked with Christopher Wen. He explained the entire process, helped us with the paperwork, called and emailed to let us know updates, arranged the installation (amazing installation crew - great work, professional, clean, hard working), answered any question I may have had in a timely fashion and just made it so easy to go solar. The program really worked. The incentives, the loan, everything worked out exactly as he said it would. We went from using a ton of energy to PRODUCING a ton of energy. Central air, a hot tub, a little above-ground pool - two summers ago our electric bill was killing us. Now, it's not a worry. I even put some back into the grid. We are SO HAPPY we went solar and we are SO HAPPY to have had Christopher Wen to help us, because he was really an excellent source of information!
