NY State Solar

Outstanding experience with New York State Solar

I had solar panels installed by NYSS in January 2025. I couldn’t be more pleased with my decision to go with New York State Solar (NYSS). The sales representative Franklin Cusma was knowledgeable, customer focused, engaging, and answered all the questions my wife and I had regarding switching to solar and the process from start to finish. Franklin's overall demeanor and honesty dealing with us was the driving reason for deciding to proceed with NYSS. For both the roof inspection, and on the day of installation the team came promptly in the morning and worked professionally, they were courteous, installed the components neatly, and kept me informed of their progress until the end. From start to finish, Franklin and the NYSS team provided exceptional expertise and guidance, making the entire process getting solar seamless. Their knowledge and attention to detail stood out, and I am extremely pleased the we chose NYSS for our solar needs. I now look forward to my future energy savings.

Solar Panels-Staten Island

I’m happy to give this review as my experience was very positive with New York State Solar. After years of contemplating solar and after narrowing it down to 3 different companies it was my salesperson that finally made me comfortable enough to explain it all to me in detail where I decided now was the time to commit to getting it. Special thanks to salesperson Danny (Cheong) who was very nice to work with along the way. He made things clear and was in constant contact every step of the way (even on his honeymoon.) I have since recommended him a few times and will continue doing so. If you are looking to get solar he is worth listening to. Contact him at DCheong@nystatesolar.com

My experience with New York State Solar was incredible, second to none especially with Douglas Huron. He took the time and came to my home according to my schedule and went over every detail with me and my wife and showed us how beneficial it was to go solar. From his professionalism, his relatability and knowledge it was a no brainer to sign up. He was never pushy and gave us the time to decide if this was truly right for us. Everything went just as he said, from the roof work up until the panel install was smooth, neat, well done and by good quality workers. I would recommend everyone to call Douglas Huron and see how he can save you and your family money and headaches for years to come.
