FYI GUYS…. When going Solar, DO NOT, I repeat, do not go through MERAKI SOLAR!! 1. Installers took photographs of personal items in our garage. (We have cameras). This was brushed off by the company. 2. Busted our ceiling and took weeks to fix it. 3. Installers did not complete the project properly and caused us to fail inspection. DELAYED. 4. The delays have cost us money, as the longer our panels weren’t turned on the more money came out of our pocket… 5. Meraki is dodging our communications. TAKE IT FROM ME AND GO WITH A DIFFERENT COMPANY.

Wow MERAKI

Worse than used car salesman, told $47,000 system would net 0 the FPL bill to base charges only and taxes. IT DOES NOT!!! THE BILL IS MORE !!! CAUTION also big point salesman will tell you is the loan on your home is transferable, IT IS NOT!!!!! If my caps and ! Don’t make you stop before it’s to late than I couldn’t help you.

Utility bill was 300 and now my payment is only 180

My payment used to be 300+ dollars a month and now Meraki has locked my utility rate in at 180 dollars a month and I haven’t had any payments besides the meter fee form my utility company! From the very start they were informative and gave me all the details upfront. Not sure why they’re getting anything but 5 stars. These people are discrediting a great company!!!!

Everything done right with the right price

I did my research for over 2 years, speaking with over 10 different companies. After a lot of thought Meraki solar just offered the best product with the best service for the best value. I spoke with ADT, Tesla, Momentum solar, Freedom solar power, solar bear and more. Meraki solar is the company you want to go with if you live in the central Florida area.

Best solar company and they use no sun contractors!!

Have had a few companies reach out to me about solar but Meraki is the very best and most informative. I have no electric bill now and I’m building credits up on my bill like crazy at the end of the year my credits will be cashed out as well. My system is beautiful and it’s top of the line I wouldn’t recommend anyone else!!

Scam!

Sales tactics used false information. We had another company with solar that we were told by Meraki cancelled the contract due to some issues that company (momentum) was having. We had only inquired with Meraki because the other company was taking almost a year to even start our solar installation. They even showed us on the financing that our financing contract was closed out by momentum solar. This was false information. So when we signed with Meraki, we now have two solar companies with finance agreements. Unfortunately, you can’t cancel with Meraki without paying 20% of the total system cost. My advice to stay away from this company! Or any of the smaller solar companies. We got scammed and now will most likely loose assets and/or become bankrupt.

The Best Treatment from a Solar Power Company

I contacted two other solar power companies and they both said my house would not qualify for their service without ever visiting my property. Meraki Solutions visited my home, designed a solar power system that would give me all the energy my household needs and included the replacement of my damaged HVAC system and ductwork as part of the project. The installation team completed the job in two days. The system Permit To Operate was issued six weeks after I signed the contract. My cost for the entire project is $60 less than my average bill in 2021. Meraki kept every promise they made and they continue to monitor and support me constantly.

Save yourself headaches and do not use these guys!! They are liars, they tell you any kind of lies in order to make a commission, they don't care about you as a customer. they just care about $$$ Horrible service, when you tried to reach out to them by email, email comes back as "email address not found" and by phone you will be lucky if you are not in hold "waiting line" for more than 30 min. DO NOT RECOMEND THEM AT ALL

It is costing me money

This whole project has cost me money thatI don't have to spend! There hasn't been one month that I haven't had an electric bill in addition to my solar panel bill. Now the payment is going up because I was told I would get a tax credit and could send the money to the lender to keep my payment the same and that was a lie. I will soon have to pay even more a month. The salesman was a total fraud and liar. The question below asks if my price includes a federal tax credit, well it was supposed to but I wasn't told that it only applies to taxes I owe. I thought I was getting $4,000. of the cost of the panels but I will be getting nothing.

Worst Company

Sold a bunch of lies! We were told this system would be take the place of our power bill and that we would just be charged $20.00 for the meter from the power company (Gulf Power). Every month I am paying for the solar panels at $219.72 a month and also receiving a power bill, last months was $169.86!!! We have gone round and round with this company. At one point an employee told us “tuff it’s your problem”!! Today we had someone finally come back out after a year, and we were told that the solar panels were only operating on 60% !!!! 60% I was sold 100% of BS! So they tell my husband well we can add more panels at 42K!?!?! I’M ALREADY PAYING 62k for the crap that is on my roof now. That’s it time for an attorney and JUSTIN WOLF (owner) I will be naming you in the lawsuit personally!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY THEY ARE JUST AFTER YOUR MONEY AND CUSTOMER SUPPORT IS WORTHLESS!!!!!!!!

Misinform Customers

Misinformed us about being able to take the panels to our new residence and about getting one remove and replace of the panels at no charge if roof repairs were ever needed.

Nothing but lies

Sold me lies. we 100% regret trusting anything that came out of Jesse's *our sales associates mouth. It was all lies. He told us 1. That the solar bill we would recieve would replace the utility bill *I asked about this multiple times and he was very clear we would not have a bill. This was stated over and over! 2. He push us getting a larger system saying we would have lots of energy back and be able to put in a pool heater and a hot tub (the guy at my electric company has since laughed about this saying that is not possible), us being able to get those things in the future is the only reason I agreed to get the system in the first place. We were sold nothing but lies, put our faith in what we were being told to our faces was the truth when it was the furthest from. He sold us words that had nothing to do with all the small print on the pages apon pages the want you to sign your names to. Now we are stuck with a $268 solar bill month on top of a pretty hefty utility bill monthly. We are spending double what we were prior to having solar, we were better off financially prior to having this and now are stuck.

Horrible my system does not power my home.

I hate this company, I owe $50000 for a solar system that does not even power my house. I will be paying for this crap for 25 years plus a power bill all because they have salesmen that don’t know what they are doing. Everything I was told was not true just lies to get a$50000 sale. I am now paying $250 a month for the system plus a power bill of at least $200 a month. I was promised that it was a great investment because I would be eliminating the power bill and that gulf power would owe me money at the end of the year. Then I called to complain and they want me to run my credit again and pay to add more panels, that should never be the case they have engineers that should be able to create an accurate system to power your home as they assured me they would. This feels like the worst mistake Of my life. THE SOLAR IS NOT THE MISTAKE THE COMPANY IS THE MISTAKE, IF THEY COULD MAKE THIS RIGHT AND GET ME A SYSTEM WITHOUT ME HAVING TO RUN MY CREDIT AGAIN I WOULD LOVE THIS COMPANY BUT AS OF NOW I TELL YOU BEWARE OF THE SALESMAN THEY WILL TELL YOU ANYTHING TO GET A SALE.

This company is trash!

Meraki are a bunch of liars! They told me that getting solar panels were going to save me money and I was all for clean energy. They lied and said I wouldn’t have an electric bill that the loan would replace it and I would just have to pay a meter charge to the electric company. They also said that at the end of the year i could claim them on my taxes and I would get a solar credit. They said I could put that toward the loan so that my bill would not increase. Well one of that happened! My current loan bill is $203 which will increase to $300 after 17 months and I am still paying an electric bill of $100 a month. Soooo much more than what I was paying when I was just paying for electric. The only people solar panels benefit are the electric companies and those dirtbags at Meraki. These damn things are going to bankrupt me! I regret ever listening to those people. They are disgusting! I will be sure to warn everyone I can so they don’t fall victim to the same trap.

Mark Chambers was very knowledgeable and precise in his answering all our questions and concerns, He didn't high pressure us to make a sale but allowed us the time and courtesy to make our decision to the obvious conclusion to go solar.

Liars and Cheats

They told me the solar loan would be transferable to the new buyers of my home. It is not and now I have a 26,000 dollar loan I have to pay off before I can sell the house. The solar panels only increased the value of my home by 5000 so I can not include the remainder of the loan in the contract. They lied about the loan being transferable and now they will not compensate me.

Professional and courteous solar team

I went with Meraki after a friend chose them, having hemmed and hawed about doing so for several years. Meraki was superbly professional and listened to all of my concerns/issues. My lifetime warranted steel roof presented a major concern, but Meraki was meticulous in working with my roofing contractor to ensure mounting hardware did not invalidate the roof warranty. I've been solar 10 months now and every month my electric bill drops a little more. BEST DECISION A HOME OWNER CAN MAKE!

Professional and Informative

I Installed solar with Meraki last fall and started to actually save money after my second bill. In the beginning, I was upset with my first bill because I didnt save much money, but after speaking with customer support and going over my power bill, I learned that i was in fact saving, just using too much energy compared to my previous months.

Not satisfied

We purchased solar last June and were told the electric bill would be appropriate $40.00 per month. Are lowest bill has been $79.00. I have called several times and requested them to send someone to check the panels but no one has come by. I spoke with other solar companies and they have told me there is something wrong. We have a 1500sf home and 22 panels.
