I’ve had the panels installed for 2 years, and everything was a disaster from the start, but at least in the first few months, they responded! For over a year now, I’ve been reporting damaged panels by phone, by email, and nothing—no one responds! This week, I spoke again with the bank that financed me, and their response was, Meraki went bankrupt, and you lost the warranties. If you want to repair your panels, you have to pay. My electricity bill with Duke Energy is starting to go up because the panels aren’t working properly, and they’re threatening to take action against me if I stop making payments! Their solution is for me to keep paying for the panels, high electricity bills, and also the repair of the panels! I have no idea where to turn. I really want to cancel that contract because it was a scam in every sense! Typical of scammers—they create a company, offer services they won’t fulfill, then declare bankruptcy, and start another company under a different name, and so they keep deceiving and scamming, and no one does anything!

I had solar panels installed by Meraki back in Dec. 2021 here in Tallahassee. My salesperson's name is Mark Chambers. starting in 2023 - 2024 I noticed a decline in productivity. I called/emailed Mark several times, and he could just ask for a copy of my Utility bill. But I would get no response except, "Your just building up credits." Well, it just go worse as time went on. I checked my output a few weeks ago and found that they panel stopped producing in Aug 2024. It seems really off that this is about the time they supposedly went into a partnership with Freedom Forever. All calls to Meraki now go unanswered and no one gets back to me. I have called Freedom Forever, and I get an AI answering service and never-ending hold music. I still owe around 20,000.00 for the loan on these non- functioning panels. These business practices are deplorable, and this company needs to be held accountable. If this is not resolved soon, I will be calling my lawyer. I have filed complaints with the BBB, Dept. on Agr. and Consumer Services, and the State of Florida Attorney General. This is beyond frustrating.

Wish I could leave ZERO stars! Great Sales Pitch. EVERYTHING ELSE SUCKED and Continues to SUCK!! Panels STOPPED working 3 months ago. NO ANSWER from MerCOCKi. PLEASE do yourself a favor and use a different company! Stopped payment today from bank to get their attention.

I have called Meraki several times, like 15 to 20 times, if they are closed why is there still a phone number and voice recordings, at this point I'm out 50,000 dollars for a dead solar system

I bought a solar system and it was installed. The installation nightmare is another story. The system worked but now it doesn't seem to be communicating with the Enphase software so I don't know if the system is producing anything. I contacted Enphase and they confirmed the system was offline. I have tried to contact Meraki now for 2 weeks. I have yet to speak with a living, breathing body and have been forced to leave voicemails each and every time I called. Do you think they have reached out..........NO. I am now filing complaints with each and every Florida Regulatory Agency and the Florida Attorney General's office. Hoping to get Meraki off their _____ to do something about this. If you are considering Meraki for your solar system, my recommendation is DO NOT contract with them.

The worst solar panel company, I've been trying to get the panels working since I bought them 5 years ago and I haven't gotten any response, the panels never worked, I pay super high electricity bills, when they promised I wouldn't have to pay electricity. Now I pay electricity and solar panels, they are stealing my money monthly, I don't know what else to do but they are liars.

Meraki installed my 10kw solar system, they are not answering emails, phone calls. In my opinion, do NOT work with them

An agent from this company came for 3 days insisting that I was going to save money by accepting the solar panels. I didn't need panels or a debt since I work as a teacher and I'm in the process of divorce. I had just changed windows in my house to reduce the mold and humidity in my house, which was affecting my baby, so I didn't need more expenses. However, I did need to replace the roof, and that's where they managed to sell me a whole "promotional package." On the one hand, they were offering me a replacement pump for the pool in my house, replacing the roof, putting in the panels, and replacing all the lights in the house with LED lights. I never read the contract because the man told me that since I didn't understand English enough, it would be better if he explained it to me in simpler words. After signing the contract, the salesman never contacted me, nor did he follow up on my case. They offered me help in Spanish, but that only happened in November after I signed in June. The company installed the roof and the panels, but the latter did not pass inspection, so the company insists on entering my house to continue with the contract, but they also intend to charge me a debt of 69K, where at first they told me that I would have a credit of up to 69K and not a debt. The panels have a value from Freedom Forever of 11k, and the roof of 15k, added this does not give the value that MERAKI put on my debt and that part of the debt was put on me with a lien on my house. This has affected me a lot, especially realizing that the initial application for that credit was rejected due to lack of funds and then "miraculously" it was approved without knowing what numbers were the ones that were moved so that everything would fit. They have threatened to sue me and have also threatened me by saying that if I don't have the money to pay then I should sell my house and pay them the debt, which is absurd, but not going any further, they messed with my son, saying that if I were to die, I shouldn't worry because the state would keep my son and that part of the house would be auctioned off to pay off the debt and the rest would be left to him. They are infamous in taking advantage of people, especially when I initially explained my debts and income to them, and I told them that I didn't want hidden numbers, and now they tell me that the panels are not 11k but 49k!!! Where do they get such a high commission from? I am trying by all means to seek help, because I recognize the debt on the roof, but not on the panels, and I have already asked for them to be removed and they have not wanted to.

We have been having a problem with production and loosing connection. We've been told we would have soombody contact us never happened, the manager Klye in Vagas did not do a thing. We have never been able to contact Mericka who installed the solar. Please beware they are very tricky I would never recommend this company.

I bought the house in May. The panels are all paid off. THey charged me a transfer fee to transfer the service plan to my name. Everything is working. WHen I looked at the app, I notices 1 our of the 32 panels is not working. I call and they did send someone to repair it. He did some things and said it would need a day to cycle through and be recognize. It did not. I called back to schedule a call back. They scheduled it in July, then cancelled. Then rescheduled and did not show up two other times (taking time off work to wait for them). Now, I call, email, text and use their web submittal and do not any reply back. When I call the phone is either unanswered, or sends me to a call waiting queue and disconnects me. I wanted to get a quote to add batteries and a transfer switch, but with no call back, they won't get that business from me anytime soon. I really hate leaving 1 star reviews, but they really have dropped the ball on my account.

We bought solar panels from Meraki at the beginning of 2023. The process took a few month and a few more month to begin saving some energy. My solar panels had to be removed in June 2024 (after waiting for Meraki for at least 2 months) because my roof had a leak and it needed to be replaced. Roof job was finished in July 2024 and since then I have been waiting for either Meraki or Freedom Forever (a company that merged with Meraki to supposedly improve services). I am now in worse shape than before I stalling these solar panels I am now paying for my electric bill AND the loan for the pa ELA that allowed me to see 3 or 4 months of savings. I wonder if there’s anything that can be done about this. I am tired of calling Freedom Forever who claimed back in July that they were looking for my account info. They gave me a ticket number on August 23 and told me wait time was 30 to 60 days. TIL this day I have not heard from anyone. My panels are sitting on my backyard and my electric bill keeps going up. We got our solar panels in 2022, in a whirlwind sales pitch, but we fell for it. Installation took longer than they said it would. Electric bills have not really decreased at all like they said it would. Then, September 2024 we noticed water dripping inside of our home. Went to the attic and found that the problem was where the solar panels were installed. Called Meraki, got sent to Freedom Forever. Sent someone out who went up on roof and stated that whomever installed them would miss the rafter when drilling, pull it back out and drill another hole next to it without fixing the first holes they made. There are multiple of these holes thru out our roof. Service tech said he was going to put in for a full reroofing for us. Here we are, November 8, 2024 - still leaky roof and no resolution except for them to send us a quote for @$7,000 to have the panels taken off and put back on after we get our roof replaced. They aren't even trying a little to rectify the situation. Our next stop will be an attorney. To the gentlemen below whom wants to meet up with everyone and file a class action lawsuit...We stand with you.

This company is unprofessional and sell a horrible product. My system has not been working since June 2024, supposedly they partenered with a company called freedom forever that is in charging of servicing their faulty system. This freedom company seems to be at same low level as Meraki as it is November 4, 2024 and they still have not had the decency to visit my home to see what’s happening and even worse, can’t even give a date for their visit Please do not buy from Meraki. They diner deserve to be in business

to be honest I’m going to find each one of these people on this site that has left a negative reviews and file a Class action lawsuit and get these solar panels taken off my roof as this company is a nightmare to deal with. I’ve had 10 service calls in less than one year, it’s a constant headache, wondering if your panels are working or if breaker has flipped or if an inverter needs to be replaced and now they are owned by Freedom forever that does not come out or respond to any of the emails that I’ve inquired about to get them to Fix an issue at my house. Do not use Meraki Solar .

I can't even leave one star! Hopefully my review will come out on this page. For the person from Florida who is saying that this company is wonderful, how much were you paid! Call the AG! I am calling the BBB and reporting this company to whomever will listen to me! I was lied to, deceived about everything from beginning to end! The salesperson's name is Isidro Vasquez. He always had a new trainee with him (I can't remember his name). I had Meraki install solar on three homes that belong to me. I was lied and deceived to every time that they visited me. I attempted to discontinue all of the services as I became leery as things were not happening as promised. Isidro told me that he would lose $150. dollars a day if I didn't continue with my contracts as he needed to support his three daughters. I can go on and on but all in all this was a horrible experience!

When you pay $84k for a product, you would think that the support for that product would at least be okay. I have had three issues with my panels since getting them installed and the best response time that I got was one month from the time the issue started. Now they've sent some services to a company called Freedom Forever and their support is magnitudes worse. I have never been so disappointed with a purchase in my life!

THIS is the worst company I’ve ever dealt with my whole entire life! Our project manager for three different other companies doing construction and south florida and the guy do not call back. They do not care. I tell everyone not to use them or freedom forever. I’m paying two bills. and they won’t help in anyway. I just need a little help!!! HELP

I have had the system since November 2023 and FPL is telling me that the system is not generating any energy. From the reviews I am reading, looks like I too have been taken. I too will be getting a lawyer. Do not hire this company. Vince was my sales person. He's very slick. Don't trust him. I wouldn't even give them a half star.

Our panels were installed in 2021, and all has been fine until this summer. Our panels aren't properly generating energy to send back to Duke so our Duke Energy bills are steadily increasing. I've called Meraki Solar 26 times in the last 24 hours, and been told by an automated voice they're too busy and call back later, then I'm disconnected. I've tried contact through social media. I've tried emailing. I've tried their contact form. Nothing. This is absolutely ridiculous. I called the person who sold the system to us, but he's no longer with them. He said they've been sold to someone else, but there's no record of it anywhere I've found and every company I've called by the name he gave says they aren't the ones.

They took my money and ran......no follow up service..i don't know how this thing works, what to look for and how to monitor it. Never was told who and when to pay

Cannot get a hold of anybody to get the problems with my system fixed have been told in April that they would fix it it is now the end of July nothing has been done no one has contacted me and again I can't get hold of anybody our electric bill is still $300 a month and I'm paying $300 for solar also it never even lowered my bill

Meraki is a scam company and we are pursuing legal action against them. We are paying FAR more for energy with our solar panels. They ignore our calls, they make promises and then do NOTHING. This was a terrible decision. We are losing a lot of money.

Pathetic. Service is awful. They have been looking for a ladder to get on my roof for 4 months. A solar company that doesn't have a ladder. Stay away!!!

Everything they promised is a lie. There is not one single thing they said would happen that has actually happened. Now I am stuck paying over double what I was paying for the electricity in the first place, plus $650 more a month!!! DO NOT FALL FOR IT! I already left a good review here and on Google. When I first looked at Meraki, I made the mistake of clicking SolarReviews, this site. I fou d out this site is a "pay to play" paid for site. Pay them, they boost your reviews. Don't pay and they delete good reviews, which I know for a fact is true, because they deleted mine. I have contacted the AG. This is a despicable business practice. Showed me immediate savings customer service is awesome and Vince is by far the best person to work with out of Sarasota office Everything went exactly the way they said it would and I only pay just this minimum fee to fpl now so greatful I wasn’t sure before because of all the Karen’s writing reviews but I am very satisfied with everything can’t wait to refer them to everyone

Here are my Maraki experiences. 1) installers add extra.equipment on my house not in the submitted plans. City failes the project. MERAKI takes another month and resubmits the plans to city. City comes out and failed the I stall again. Why? Meraki submitted the exact plans without additional equipment. Three weeks.later.Maraki finally removes.extra.equupment and City passes our solar system. 2) Breaker inside home is red hot to touch! 125 degee hot. MARAKI comes out and changes breakers and does something to the wiring on roof. 3) I called.another solar company to install equipment so I can watch the system produce power. They open the outside panel, call me over and say, we can't touch this. All your wires.are.burnt and is dangerous. I call Maraki immediately. Seems even after multiple maraki employees look at the system, none go inside the main panel and tighten the bolts holding the wires.tightly. the wires arc and burn! 4) Meraki sends over an employee, Fernando, and he alone took time and care to rerun new wires, replace burnt connectors etc. 5) when installed the crew was rushed to finish job and get back to office for a staff meeting. What does that matter? Well the crew did a terrible job at strapping the wires off the roof. This degrades the wires and should not be allowed to rest on the roof. 6) called Maraki and they sent one person over on 11 June to restrap wires. I watched this guy lift panels, hold the panel up and restrap wires underneath. He did his best being alone for a two.man job. Worker left and I thought I was all set. 7) 14 June I look at my solar production. I see six (6) panels completely dead. I look back at the history and see these panels stop on 11 June! Now I sit and wait for Meraki to fit me into their schedule. They are supposed to be here 8 days later. I'm sorry but that seems like a brush off from Management. The system is a 12 KwH system costing over 53,000. Bottom line, Meraki could be a great company however at this point until management starts taking the customer seriously, stY far away. Customers are what makes a company, Maraki needs to realize this.

What started as over 31,000 dollars for system with there financing is going to cost over 51,000. They took much longer than stated to do just the install of pannels. Plus 4 different times my job was postponed due to employees not showing up or not enough workers. Work was done before permits were posted. This company is the worst. Salesman said I'll be with you through the whole experience. Install was to included an AC sealant. They were to come and make sure there were no links in my AC vents and seal them. Those people showed up they cut into my unit and they found out there equipment could not run because my electrical was sufficient enough to run there equipment. Was to recieve money back haven't seen a penny. Worest experience ever and now I'm stuck.

Don't buy solar from anyone especially Meraki. I had Meraki remove my panels for a reroof (leaking from panel install) and they informed me to pay $500 after they reinstalled the panels. Come time for the reinstall, my invoice bill goes up $4500 with no explanation and they want payment first before the job is done. Instead of fixing the invoice, meraki sent 5 more invoices saying past due over the next few weeks never acknowledging what happened. After getting the BBB involved, they corrected the invoice and went back to the origional quote. However, after correcting the invoice they had a crew show up to my home woth no permit to perform the work. I asked to see the permit and the said "our work doesn't require an inspection." YOU WILL ALWAYS NEED A PERMIT FOR ANY STRUCTUAL MODIFICATION per Florida code. I turned them away for not having a permit and lying to my face. Filed with BBB again for this problem and Meraki tries to make it seem like me turning them away was my fault (even thoughthey had no permit). Meraki never explained the increase in the invoice or why their employees lied. I would love to hear a reason and so would my code inspector the DBPR, and the Florida AG. I ended services with Meraki through BBB to have 3rd party documentation. The only saving grace through this is I don't have solar on my roof. The stage of harassment I'm at with Meraki is now sending their slime turds to harass me at my property, through phone, and email. They have been warned to not enter my property.

After months and months of delays, ripped tires marks through my yard. Taking off work time and time again. Promises on promises. Credits that were never given (Supposed to go to loan) The FPL hook up fee VS what the bill really is. On top of the bill from loan company. I pay FPL and Meraki the same amount some months. I am not sure what the point of switching was. I owe more than when the junk wasnt on my roof. When you ask them to run reports they say everything is fine. Make it make sense. Run. Dont go here.

a year ago these people who represent mekari solar came to my house sold me the panels and the service and the workers threatened and wanted me to pay out of pocket for work that had not even started so at the end of day the company and their people did not make good on their word

The transition to solar was so quick and simple. I used Meraki Solar because we had a cousin who also used them. They took care of the entire project for us. We love how stress-free the whole process was. We recommend this company.

I was contacted by a Representative of Meraki Solar (Jacob Pacheco) in 2022 in order to install solar panels at my residence. An agreement was made with Meraki and (18) panels were installed completed in October 2022 by a subcontractor (Solcius Solar). A loan was obtained with Sunlight Financial and has been paid in full. On 1/17/2024 I began to have problems with panels #13 & 14 as they were not producing on my NEP manager system. I continuously tried to make contact with Solcius in order for them to resolve the problem. I finally found out the Solcius had filed for bankruptcy the earlier part of 2024. At this time, I have been communicating Meraki for a solution to this problem. Meraki has advised that they are aware of Solcius filing for bankruptcy but have not made a decision as to what is to happen with the customers of Solcius which they subcontracted too. I will continue to communicate with Meraki until a decision is made.

If I could go back to when Mark Chambers and Austin Whitley came to our home in Tallahassee, FL that was purchased April 2023 I would've told them NO. I really didn't want solar panels, but my fiance thought it would be a good idea. I should've stuck with my gut feeling. This is a big a** scam. Those two guys came into our home, talked very nice like good salesmen always do and convinced us that this would be a great investment. These panels were installed 10/19/23, turned on 11/08/23 and a panel had to be fixed 12/13/23. We NEVER consume 100% of the daily energy that's generated daily, so for the life of me we can NOT understand why the city of Tallahassee is still charging us for electricity after we've had MONTHS to accumulate energy. The city of Tallahassee couldn't give us any answers after trying for awhile. We've even waited to see if these charges would work itself out. As of today we're still having to pay the city for electricity, but we NEVER consume more than what's been generated smh. I've reached out to Mark and Austin and I am awaiting a CALL back. If I have to this problem will be escalated. If you are considering this company DON'T do it unless you want to pay for solar panels and still pay for electricity MONTHLY. Also, the tax credit that they swear you'll be able to apply to your panels as an incentive payment to prevent your monthly panel bill from increasing is also a LIE. Do yourself a favor and leave those solar panels where they're at because this is a breach in the agreement.

If I could leave no stars I would but I have to leave at least one in order to leave a review. I am very unhappy with Meraki and it's associates. And I will even name one. Joseph Morfesi. He is a terrible employee for this company. He is a liar and is always conveniently out of town when you need to reach him. Getting solar has been a nightmare since day one. We still do not understand the app, noone showed us in person how to use it, we were e mailed how to use it. We were lied to about the solar form for tax time. Joseph is now claiming he flat out told us at the beginning it was going to be a tax credit. Interesting. So how come when we told our tax worker we thought we were getting money back, she said that countless other people that she was helping with taxes, thought the same thing? Even a friend of ours who also went with Meraki for solar, was under the impression for the tax and yet when it was time to do taxes, learned the hard truth that it was a tax credit. But Joseph claims he has been honest with us the whole time. Not true. I am paying solar every month AND an fpl bill and my fpl bill is cheaper than what I am paying for solar. And if I am a day late paying solar I am penalized $20. I cannot really back out of solar otherwise I will have to pay the cancellation fee of $5000. Meraki does not care to make customers happy, nor does Joseph Morfesi. I cannot stress enough to not go with Joseph Morfesi. If he calls you, hang up...Go to another solar company, DO NOT go with Meraki. I wish we had done more research before talking with Joseph.

I made three payments almost to four before I got solar connected . Two day later there is a gateway meter fault one month later a tech shows up three day after his appointment day one week later gateway meter fault ! I can't find out what was done to resolve the issue . I have two panels that are not producing near what the others next to them .

I have a very long explanation as to why this company is horrible. Long story short, do not believe them, they are frauds, and they will cost you in the long run. I feel as if this company, Meraki Solar, needs to right all of the wrongs and constant misinformation their sales people have been telling customers. Praying on the lower- and middle-class individuals just to make their commissions and profits. I have been reading complaints by other customers, they are all relatively the same. All have been lied to regarding the “tax refund”. The misinformation customers are receiving regarding the “tax refund” has caused significant financial issues. Something needs to be done with this company and customers need to have their money refunded or be reimbursed for some. THIS COMPANY NEEDS TO BE STOPPED!!!

This company is garbage! They’re overpriced and under-deliver! Their customer service is horrible and no one seems to know what’s going on; however, they’re extremely quick to charge you! They came into our newly developed neighborhood and made so many promises! “Get solar your electric bill will be $20 and your solar will be under 200 a month with the loan on the solar.” The only consistency was the 221.00 a month for the solar but they overpriced us for our solar! We have 26 panels and paying $78k! We questioned this a million times but the right hand doesn’t know what the left hand is doing in that company and like I stated their customer service is clueless!! I went to the extent of reaching out to their CEO via LinkedIn and he is just as much of a joke! Stay away from this company! Do your research on others before signing! When we reached out to the sales man that came to our house 2 weeks after we signed, he no longer worked for the company and neither did his assistant that came with him! No one could assist and they just keep saying that the price of $78k must be correct. Lies! Fraud!! And attorneys come next!!

This company installed a system on my house in the rain. My roof is now leaking and there is water damage inside the house. I have been trying and no repairs have been done. out of the 34 panels installed only 9 are working at full capacity. I have been trying since Mar 2023 and nothing. Took almost 6 months to get my system turned on. No customer service. They don't answer the phone. They don't answer emails.

First, they told me that I would be getting a tax rebate for $22,000.00 dollars, that is not true, this is adjusted to your income, and given to you as a credit not tax refunds, let say if you owe IRS $22000.00 dollars than with this tax credit you owe IRS nothing. but for the regular people out there it does nothing for them, so if you don't pay down your solar panels financing with the tax credit in 18 months your bill for the solar panels go up about 40% per month higher, I am writing this because my system has broken down 5 times in 4 months, they did not come until 111 days later, of course my FPL bill went up to over $1,500.00 dollars because they told me to take off budget billing, I now pay more for electricity than I ever paid before they came into my life, now the system is broken again and it has been over 3 weeks and no one has called me at all, I tried calling them but no one answered the call, not even the sales person who sold it to me, I put a claim for the money I spent on FPL because there system broke, it was not my doing or fault, they had put on the ground wire in the first place and so my system did not sent any power back to FPL, so in other words I loose, they denied my claim. So now I am going to make sure that everyone out there knows what Meraki Solar is doing, trust me do not get involved with this company, I did saved money the first time when it was installed, but that was it just one time, now this system breaks over and over again even when they finish fixing it, just a couple of days later it breaks again and again. I am so tired dealing with these people. And on top of everything my roof was installed in 2019, after they installed the solar panels my roof started to get black around the panels, I was so happy when I got a new roof and the color of it beige is awesome, now they have done a very sloppy job that my roof has black areas especially in the front of the house, I am so frustrated that I am boiling.

This company is a fraud and a proper scam. They are full of lies. They have the worst customer service and they don’t care about the customers. I’ve have solar panels installed and it took them 2 months to come and activate the service. And I’m still waiting for them to install my smart meter and opti box. In the meantime, I’m paying 2 bills and when I called them, I’ve been passed around. Thus is getting rediculous. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. Once the Sales Reps get your money, they dissapear and if you ever get hold of them, they start playing the blame game.

This is the poorest solar company, had solar panels put on our home in April 2022. We had one electric bill that was only to be on the Duke energy grid. We have complained to Meraki but no satisfaction. Was told the engineers didn’t figure the right amount of panels, so here we are paying for the panels and still paying electric bills. Stay away from this company!!!!

Meraki miss calculated how much energy was needed to run our 3010sq home and now we have 2 high bills monthly, solar and electricity. We are so unhappy with there service and Lies! They told us they could put more panels on for an extra $14k . What!!! They should have put the correct amt of panels on to begin with and we wouldn't be here complaining! We regret ever signing up for solar with Meraki. Horrible lesson learned

Don't use this company once they get paid no one will help u

If I could give 0 stars I would. First off I was lied to from the sales pitch. I have had a power bill ever since I had $50k worth of panels installed. Second off their monitoring system is inaccurate. They say my panels are working all year producing more then expected but FPL says its like I don't even have solar. After figuring out how to reset the panel box they are working again my power bill is now $200 not $400. This is probably the worst company in the area for solar. Solar is a gimmick and doesn't work like Meraki says it does. My advice don't be me and fall for the B.S. that Meraki says cause all of them lie from the people in NM to the people in FL.
