Mega Power Electric Inc

Excellent knowledge of solar and battery backup systems. Reliable and service oriented. Gets the job done right and at the price quoted. My "go to" guy when it comes to solar systems

Gary and his team did an outstanding job installing our solar panels and battery system. From start to finish, the process was smooth, efficient, and professional. The work was completed quickly and without any issues. After experiencing several PG&E outages, we can confidently say that the system has performed exceptionally well. We are very pleased with the quality of the installation and would gladly recommend Gary and his team.

Gary N. at Mega Power is the real deal. We used them for our residential solar installation in early 2023, and went back to them in mid-2025 for batteries. As part of the battery work I got several other quotes from other Enphase partners, and Mega Power offered competitive rates and delivered a very high quality installation. They handle the permitting in a painless way, and even went to the store to match paint for the siding of our house to keep everything looking good. Very rarely do you find such high quality service for such a good price. I could not rate them higher.

This is my second install with Mega Power, I recently purchased a new home and before I even got the keys I reached out to Gary and he helped get the process started to ensure I can make the deadline for NEM2. Just like my previous system everything went flawlessy from the design to permits to the install of my 10.8kW system that was completed in just one day. I highly recommend going with Mega Power if you are looking to get solar done right and quickly. Update: due to number of grid outages for my area, we decided to add backup batteries. Worked with Gary, he provided multiple options including Powerwall but decided to go with Enphase 5P batteries for better system integration. We’ve had multiple long outages this year already and system has backed up whole home seamlessly including AC system without any issues. The best part of having a backup battery system allows use of solar panels during the day in the event of an outage 😀 Gary is the best, he even helped me install Emporia Vue monitoring system so I can charge with excess solar using Emporia EV charger.

Had a large job in with approximately 38 solar panels and 2 battery backups installed. Job was done professionally and on time. I was very happy with the customer support. Even more, about 7 months after the install, the readings from the system were inaccurate and causing the system to not work at its full potential. Within 1 week, they sent someone over and fixed the system back to 100%. I was incredibly grateful and appreciative. Highly recommend.
