We are extremely happy with our 14Kw, 34 panel solar system from New York Power Solutions. The system has been operating for about 3 months and is meeting our high expectations. Our salesman, David Kowalsky, was extremely helpful in analyzing, planning and (very importantly) expediting the installation of our system. David and Power Solutions were very flexible in providing plans, pricing and performance expectations as our system plans evolved as we learned more about residential solar systems in the NYSEG area. We settled on a larger system than initially planned due to anticipated increases in usage for an EV and heat pumps in the future. The installation was very smooth and much faster than I thought it would be. Very professional install team. I really appreciate that the electrician was very open to making changes based on my suggestions about wiring runs based on my knowledge about the attic and chimney chase structures. It made for a much cleaner and better looking installation, with much less exposed conduit. Overall very happy with the installation process and final results. I like the Enphase system and app, very helpful to have both generation and usage tracking. The only negative was that we were unable to get our preferred panels (REC or QTron) due to not being available within our installation timeframe. David was very open and honest about the change and pricing was adjusted without any issues. The supplied panels were similar in terms of specs and performance warranty. I would highly recommend New York Power Solutions and David Kowalsky. They worked very hard to make sure our system was planned, permitted and installed before the federal credits expired.

David kept in communication with me throughout the whole process from design to getting permits and final installation. 32 solar panels installed in total. All my questions and concerns were addressed and I can not thank them enough. 5 Stars - Highly recommend!

We are extremely happy with the service. Joe Strzelecki was very professional and completely transparent. Our electric bill is a fraction of what it was less than 30$ that includes connection cost which we all have to pay.

Recently I've had solar panels installed by Power Solutions, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. Matt, the representative who helped me, was fantastic. From the very beginning, Matt and his team were incredibly helpful. They were patient and thorough and answering all my questions, no matter how big or small. Matt was always available to speak with me, even outside of regular business hours. This made a huge difference in my comfort level, as I was completely new to solar power. Matt's of the time to explain the entire process, from the initial consultation to the final installation. He broke down the technical aspects of the system into easy to understand terms, ensuring I fully grasp how the panels and the entire setup would work together. If you looking to install solar just call Joe Galluzzo @ Power Solutions! I took the time and got estimates from 9 different companies and Power Solutions was FAR had the best prices and warranty. Joe Galluzzo was there for us through out the whole process to answer any questions. The company was incredible from start to finish. My production manager Joanie Okula kept me updated at every phase. The installation was fast and very neat. All wires were installed in the attic not running across the roof like most other houses that I see. Now we are enjoying free power and a $18 PSEG bill. I had the pleasure of working with Justin Roche through the whole process. He was patient (especially at the beginning when I was comparing several companies) and never felt pushy. They handled all the permitting and once that was done, install was quick and efficient. Panels have been running for just shy of a week and everything seems to be performing as expected. I had very wonderful experience with Li power solutions. They are the best in town. I will mention Steve is so wonderful, he helped me from beginning till system was installed and started on. He was always available with answers whenever i had any issues. He took care of all the application and paperwork which kept me away from all kind of stress. Installation was smooth. I will also say about Brian , he took good amout of time to help me understand about how everything works and answered all my questions patiently. I love the monitoring app that they offer which i can use to keep track of my production. On top of everything going solar took away my electric bill expense which is best for anyone of us. Gold Standard for solar

I feel compelled to leave this review as I don't normally leave any as I hope my experience will give you cause to at least consider LI Power Solutions for your home or business. I am a financial advisor and always do my due diligence before committing to any significant purchase including my solar system for my home. I compared LI Power with other local solar companies as well as a well known national company for their warranties as well as the quality & performance of the panels being installed. After considering all of these factors I've decided LI Power was the best choice for my home. As for the installation, I had 46 panels installed in a matter of hours! There were (what seemed like) 3 crews dedicated to my installation which came out beautiful! We had one minor issue that was detected several days after the install, and the repair crew came right over and made the necessary adjustment. I am extremely pleased with the value of our purchase and was a pleasure to work with Tom Scala and all the back office support staff. You must meet with them if you are in the market for solar!

Honest and affordable

My reps name is Tom Scala 516-220-6147. This company was the fourth company I interviewed and Tom was spot on. I needed to cut down branches to some very large trees, put on a new roof and every other company told me I couldn’t use my own people to do the work. I also needed an electrical upgrade and had it priced out by other electricians and most of their pricing came in close to $6000 and Power Solutions did it for $3000. I was able to go to 125% in solar panels because I am getting a pool put in and Tom did a Load letter to PSEG to make that happen so we would be able to cover the electric heating of the pool in the summer. Very satisfied and highly recommend and by far the best quote.

My experience with Long Island Power has been superb from start to finish. At every stage of the process they gave clear explanations of what to expect, what options were available and when things could be expected to happen. They met every deadline, always showed up on time and were totally professional and courteous when they were on my site. I have always wanted to go solar but didn't know where to begin. Thanks to Long Island power solutions and the big help from Justin Roche the process couldn't be any easier. Justin Roche was an absolute pleasure to work. I have had more trouble getting cable installed than I did installing solar. He broke down the details step by step and was there to answer the numerous questions I had of the whole process. I thoroughly searched for over 2 years to find the right company and settled on Long Island Power Solutions based on the reviews on this site and my conversations with Justin. He was never pushy and I actually reached out to him a few months after our first conversation to get some more information. I decided on 41 panel system to maximize my solar output it took them less than half a day to complete the job and I could not be happier. I would recommend them to anyone looking to move to clean energy.

I cannot say enough about Justin Roche and LI Power Solutions. I have been looking to go solar for several years now. But the costs always seemed to outweigh the benefits. Why would I want to make the switch if the cost was going to exceed my current electric bill, and the return on my investment was years away? To complicate matters, my aging roof would need replacing before I could mount solar panels on it. Justin helped me see the light that now is the right time to go solar. He is not your typical pushy salesman out to make a quick commission. He is very knowledgeable and personal. Very trustworthy. He and his team put together a plan for me that easily bested the competition (and I did get estimates from multiple companies). And my savings start on day 1, not one day in the distant future. They also put me in touch with their recommended roofing company, Atlantic Exteriors, who did an amazing job. Both the roof install and subsequent solar panel install went quickly and smoothly, with an impressive clean up job. The all black panels look very attractive on my new roof. Not awkward looking, like most homes with panels I’ve seen. It puts a smile on my face when I see my electric meter turning backwards:) I’ve had a very positive experience with LI Power Solutions. With their help, I managed to go green while saving some green. I recommend them highly.
