Excellent Service

After meeting with several solar companies, Long Island Power Solutions was the most knowledgeable and professional company. Jay our sales rep and Bill our quality manager are always available and ready to answer any questions. The app on my phone was setup and explained and everything is running great.

Extremely helpful

After researching a few other solar companies out there, I decided to go with Long Island Power Solutions and I am very happy I did. Besides being the best price I could find, Ryan Maehr, the salesperson I dealt with was extremely helpful in answering my many questions before, during and even after the installation which is why I’ve referred him to all my friends and family.

Friendly and helpful

We were looking into a few solar companies prior to go with Long Island Power Solutions and we just didn't feel comfortable with any of them. It was almost like they were being those shaddy car sales people. We got in contact with Matt. Front the time he walked in our door, we felt like we weren't being pushed into something we didn't want. From start to finish it was an excellent experience. They handled everything. They were there when they said they were going to be and did a great job installing it our panel. Matt was in contact with me the whole time and explained everything thoroughly. Anytime soon needed a question answered, he always responded very quickly. The whole experience was fantastic. I can't say enough great things about the company. Thanks Long Island Power Solutions and especially Matt, you definitely have gone above and beyond for us.

Excellent customer service

I am very happy with Long Idland Power Solutions. Matt DeBardelaben was very helpful to us and answered all of our questions in a professional manner. He is very friendly and appreciate all his help he provided. We love the solar panels that were installed on our house. They are plain black which I like much better than other ones I’ve seen that have white in them. Bryan was also very helpful with getting the system online. Any issues or concerns he also was there helping us u sweat and the system. I highly recommend them.

I researched several companies including Long Island Power Solutions and I decided to go with them after the excellent customer service, knowledge and package offerings. I am so so happy I did. Everyone I worked with was amazingly professional. Diana King, my salesperson, was so patient with me, always accessible and explained everything in such detail. I would recommend calling her and using this company hands down, before any others. It’s one of the easiest home improvement projects you will ever do!!!

Our sales rep (Diana king) explained everything simply and assessed our needs well. The system covers our energy needs perfectly. The package was customized to our home and the finance package was easy and totally painless. The install crew and office staff were all great and easy to deal with.

LI Power Solutions, Ryan(Sales), Solar...A no brainer decision..

I just wanted to take a moment to write a review regarding my recent installations by LI Power Solutions. I had been "window" shopping for solar for roughly 3 years, educating myself with the different offers provided by other installers...PPA vs. Owning...etc...Essentially it was just matter of WHEN not if, we were going to go solar. LI Power Solutions and Ryan had the perfect proposal and solution to fit our needs. Overall I had been working with them for about 3-4 months up until my installation date. Ryan Maher was my sales person and was very detail oritented, knowledgeable, and courteous from start to finish. Coming from a technical background myself, I am one to ask a lot of questions, review documentation in detail in addition to researching the system features myself. The whole team at LI Power Solutions was supportive and prompt to answer questions and concerns, even during weekends and holidays which i did NOT expect however appreciated their dedication. They took care of the design, permit applications, inspections etc, pretty much the whole process start to finish. The installation could have not been more efficient and professional. For a relatively large system, the installers completed the electrical tie-ins in addition to the solar panel installations within 1 day. I was extremely impressed. Following installation, the utilization of the energy management app is everything to me, they got me set up within a couple days and i was not only tracking my solar production but also my consumption! This is critical in my goal to observe where i can not only save energy but potentially utilize any excess prodcution as my home becomes more efficient. Not only coming from a technical background but my own career handles energy management for clients as well, I was impressed completely from the sales process, the presentation process to the installation, as well as follow up by the LIPS team. Do your self a favor and call them if you are even on the fence about it, stop throwing your money away to PSEG and take control of your electric usage and bills. LIPS will steer you in the 100% absolute right direction and path to a goal of free or drastically reduced electric with their programs. Thanks to all at LIPS!

Great job done by Long Island Power Solutions

Ryan was the sales person for my solar system. He was very courteous and patient explaining the solar system, processes, the price and the tax credits. Ryan also followed up after each step of the process. Cynthia and all of the office staff were also fantastic answering the addition questions I had. The installation crew were very professional and explained all of the steps during the install and after showing me how to monitor the system.

Joe M was our sales guy. He was great at giving us suggestion to ensure our solar would be the best suited for our needs. Very happy with the company. I also visited the headquarters on Long Island in my research and met with the owner. He was very nice, no pressure and asked if I wanted to talk to the associates and look around at their operation. All around it made me very comfortable to sign with them and proceed with a large investment.

Tom Scala, Best Representative to have when Buying Solar Panels

At the beginning i was uncertain of what i had agreed to when Tom Scala came to provide information about Long Island Power Solutions. Let me tell you i am so Happy i gave him the chance to explain what the difference of Buying/ Leasing Panels was. Once i understood, i agreed to go ahead with contract!! It has been the best experience not just with Tom Scala but from the office representatives setting up the appointments, getting my loan approved, dealing with the Town of Brookhaven and the Technicians they completed the job in less then a day and half!!! All i have to say is Thank you Tom Scala, also because i was able to get a new roof and electric panel was upgraded to 200 amps. Best part is that now i am part of the World that wants to conserve energy.

Extremely Happy With My Solar Project Start to Finish

Got a solar system installed in November. Went back and forth in regard to actual equipment and financing. Ryan was my salesman and helped me every step of the way. I must have emailed him 50 times and he always responded quickly and with the info I required. Have already recommended Long Island Power as well as Ryan to friends and will continue to anyone I know interested in solar. Can't wait for the days to get a bit longer as Spring approaches so I can really see the full potential of my solar system!

Great Company

I'm always complaining about sales people & companies. Not this time. Since the 1970's I have researched alternative energy. Ryan was on time & I felt like I had known him for years. He did his presentation with no lies. Not like another company. I signed the papers. Ryan, the office people, the installers are great. Installers came on time answered my questions finished in the time frame, yard was spotless they were quiet & friendly. At 3PM on a hazy early Dec. day the panels were producing electric. I highly recommend this company. I'm 70 yrs old & my first review.

Very happy LIPS customer

I just wanted to stay few things about Long Island Power Solution. I was thinking about installing solar for few years and when finally decided to install I contacted three different companies including Sunrun. After crunching the numbers I decided to purchase the system with no upfront cost. I found that Long Island Power solution was the best fit. Long Island Power Solution was the best fit for a reason because they provided best warranty along with the best price with most panels that I could get on my roof. During the process for the most part I only dealt with Jared… my sales person. From evaluating the electric usage, designing the system, negotiating the price to getting all the permits needed through the town. Having to deal with one person made the entire process painless. I went with over 13,000 KW systems which included lot of panels. I have to say Long Island Power Solution did a great job installing the panels in one day. Job was done neatly and the system was turned on immediately. So far I am very pleased with them and since I have mainly dealt with Jared- who I have on my speed dial – is very prompt answering my questions. I am planning to update this review as the time goes on and have more time to deal with them as a company. If anyone thinking about solar I think it worth giving them a call.

I have always been interested in Solar but had never gone through with it. Finally this year I was determined to get it done. From Tom the salesman, to the back office and the installation team; everyone at LI Power Solutions were superb. They answered all my questions; the installation team gave me accurate arrival time and completion time. The mobile app and online portal are easy to use and navigate.
