After receiving high summer electric bills, I finally decided to go solar. I've been looking for almost 4 years and had started the process with LA solar group last sept 2016. Out of the 3 other companies I reached out too, LA solar group provided with the best pricing, fastest completion of work, clean install and solar was turned on within a month. I'm currently prepared for this summer and running the AC will be a breeze.

This is a MAJOR investment so I'll treat the review accordingly and try to cover my entire experience so far. I met with LA Solar Group, Solar City, and Crown Solar before deciding to go with LA Solar Group. My parents have panels installed by Solar City but I decided to do some shopping around just in case there were better prices out there and it turns out Solar City was the most expensive of the 3. Crown Solar was pretty competitive but doesn't seem to have a big reputation/many reviews. The last thing you want is to dump a bunch of money into a company and find out they went out of business and you can't get support on your hardware that was supposed to be covered by warranties. The guys from LA Solar group are smart and competitive. They asked to see quotes from the other providers and insisted they would beat their prices. I have a large tree in front of my house. While it does keep the house quite cool, shade is a known enemy of solar panels and they even offered to credit me for the tree removal in an effort to max out panel product. Financing is done through LA Credit Union. If you haven't done your homework, do study up on combo loans. It's tricky and probably sounds like a scam but relies on you getting a refund the following year. The actual install process was pretty smooth. I didn't have to babysit the installation and the mounting is clean. I have some reverse tilt panels on the rear of my house and they seem sturdy enough. I'm not actually offended by solar panels affecting the aesthetic of buildings, so there's not much to really note other than the panels are installed exactly as they were planned in the design app. Afterwards, it felt like I was a bit in the dark for system activation. The process doesn't end once the panels/inverter are up. You have to get permission to operate from your electric company (LADWP in my case). It took a few emails/phone calls back and forth between LA Solar Group and DWP to get things moving. As long as you are on top of the activation process, you'll get your system running in a reasonable time. Responses to status inquiries were always received in a reasonable amount of time and my sales rep never ignored any of my text messages. The monitoring app is somewhat limited if you are expecting live stats. Since the inverter is connected via a cellular connection, the readings only update in 4 hour intervals.

Going With LA Solar Group Was The Best Descision I Made

After doing my homework for two months reading solar panel blogs and websites, I chose LA Solar Group to buy and install the solar system for my home. I received several estimates from other companies. The LA Solar Group Sales representative was very informative and did not pressure me in making a purchase. LA Solar Group provided me several options based upon my needs and budget. After studying the solar panel blogs on the Internet I knew the about latest solar panel technologies and the average purchase costs of various solar panels. I selected LA Solar Group's proposal which had a solar system with the latest technologies at below the average market cost! Once I signed the contract, LA Solar Group did not hesitate to start the installation process. Two days after the city approved the plans the solar system was installed on the roof. There were no delays during the solar installation process that was contributed to LA Solar Group. The City Inspector even commented on how nicely done the installation was accomplished. LA Solar Group's team kept me informed at all steps of the installation process. The solar system has been operating for about 6 weeks now and I have no regrets going with LA Solar Group.

When I first time heard about solar system , I couldn't imagine how profitable it can be . I have Solar already a year, and now, when i compare my Savings Before and After ,I see a huge difference . LA Solar Group is the gold standard for solar energy design and installation in Los Angeles. During the discovery process, I researched and sent out multiple request for quotes to different solar installers in the Los Angeles area. Within 5 minutes of sending an e-mail, I got an e-mail and a phone call from Ara with LA Solar Group. After going through multiple quotes, we decided to go forward with LA Solar Group because of their competitive pricing and their excellent/professional/honest customer service. Ara explained all aspects of the solar installation thoroughly (rebate information, installation procedure, warranty or pricing). The entire quote was sent to us in a nice package with all information included, including the equipment datasheet. The installation went very well and exceeded all expectations. They went above and beyond as they cleaned up after themselves including making sure the area they worked at was in a better condition then when they first started.
