We had a small existing solar system that didn't meet our needs, I was told by another company they couldn't help us due to our roof design. Then I called Rae at KOTA and he assured me they could make it happen. Within a few weeks we had all our questions answered and a great system designed. Rae was there for us the whole time and did a great job following up and letting us know what to expect at each step and in the end, KOTA was able to give us what the other company couldn’t and made it easy. We had an incredible sales presentation with Richard Russell and Adom Rllette on 2-3-21 and signed our contract. The solar panels were installed on 3-1-21. The Hercules city inspector approved the installation on 3-11-21 and PG+E activated the solar panels on 3-18-21. The entire Kota Energy Group worked seamlessly and we are enjoying the monthly savings! Thank you Kota!

Great service, quick install

Kota Energy replaced my roof and installed solar panels. Skylar, my account rep, helped me through the whole process. The project started in late 2020, and I wanted to get it done before the end of the year. Skylar and the whole team were ready and available to make it happen. They handled everything for the installation, and Skylar was super helpful helping me understand all the little details and planning. The panels went on just before Christmas, but it wasn't a miracle, it was the result of all the hard work from Kota Energy and team! After everything was completed Skylar came back to make sure I was satisfied with everything and make sure I had the app installed. He got the roofing company to come back out for a day and patch a couple of places. I am really glad that he was helping me with this whole project.

Excellent Solar Experience

I had an incredibly easy and good experience dealing with Nathan DeLeeuw with Kota Solar. Nathan explained my energy usage and how the Solar system could and would help me save money. Once I started the paperwork process, it seemed easy enough and before I knew it, the permits were being applied for. I was lucky enough to have the City of Vallejo have a really quick turn around and approve my home for installation. My date for installation was set up and again the technician/install crew came right on time. They knocked on my door to advise me that they had arrived and would begin my solar installation. From start to finish, the process was seamless....during the installation I had to leave the house and my adult daughter was left at home. She had to run an errand and the installation proceeded to go on. By the time she returned in 15 minutes, she was amazed that the garage door had been closed and the inside door to the garage had been locked and closed....plus the garden iron gate had been closed, as well. The crew had picked up all of their equipment and my home was left exactly like it was when they started. CLEAN. I would highly recommend KOTA solar and please ask for Nathan DeLeeuw, he’ll definitely take care of you every step of the way!

KOTA - A Hassle Free Money Saver

I had thought about going Solar, but had a lot of questions, and concerns with my HOA, as no other homes had solar panels. Kristian True with KOTA was informative, thorough, and very responsive when I reached out to him again after our first discussion. He also informed me that my HOA could not prevent me from going Solar. Kristian dealt with the HOA and followed up with each new development and step as we went through the process, making everything completely hassle free. The financing numbers I was provided made it abundantly clear that I HAD to get Solar with the KOTA Team! My PG&E bill is practically non-existent and I’m saving hundreds of dollars each month even after factoring in the financing of the Solar system. Kristian even went the extra mile to check in if I had any questions after all the papers were signed, the installation was complete, and the system was up and running. We recently completed a project with Kota solar and were incredibly happy with the whole process from start to finish. The project included a roof with gutters in our installation which will go towards the 26% tax credit if it’s bundled together.. Austin Collandra our sales rep went over all the details of the return-on-investment strategies, Tax credits and financing options to ensure we knew exactly was involved front start to finish. Once the project started he was there during the whole process and made sure we were 100% satisfied.. After the project was completed, Austin has followed up several times to make sure all is well. As a realtor, I am very picky on who I use and refer since it will reflect on me if it goes bad. In the end, I can say I am very happy with my overall experience and you will be too.

Adom Rolette was AWESOME

We were referred to Adom Rolette and we are very happy with the experience. From the first phone call to set up an appointment to setting up the app after our system was turned on, Adom was very responsive and answered all our questions. Adom made the process smooth and easy. I have to say that everyone that we dealt with was great and very professional - Adom Rolette (Solar Broker), Yousef Habuni (Sr Project Manager), Jonathan Hopkins and entire the installation crew.

5 star experience all the way around

Having previously worked in the solar industry, I had pretty high standards to meet when I was ready to have solar installed on my own home... and Kota met them all! Pablo was great to work with, and handled all the details of our project so that I didn't have to bat an eye. He was extremely knowledgeable and kept me up to date on all of the details. Everyone else on the Kota team was equally professional and on top of it, from the surveyor to the installers. They even sent someone out to meet with the city inspector to ensure that we passed inspection... so when the inspector decided we'd have to trim a majorly overgrown tree that was growing into our panel in order to pass, Kota's team was there to immediately fix the issue. We're now looking to get solar installed on our second home... and when we realized that the roof needed to be done first, Pablo was able to connect us with a roofer and has taken over managing all of the extra details to get the roof done so that we can make the switch to solar. The best part? We were paying less than $50/month in one home and over $250/month in the other... and in both cases, we're immediately saving money. Go green, save money, become energy independent... that's a win-win-win in my book.

Amazing customer relations and workmanship!

We had considered solar before but had concerns about our roof. Kota was able to remove our roof tiles, remove debris and replace the tiles before installing the solar panels. Jake was fabulous, answered ever question and insured that each step of the project was completed promptly in spite of weather delays.

Solar by KOTA was a great experience

Before KOTA, solar companies turned us down. The hill, the roof, the vents, and more became disqualifying obstacles. Then Nathan DeLeeuw rang my doorbell. This nice, polite young man brought KOTA to neatly sweep away every obstacle. Their process was easy, quick, and as quiet as possible for banging on my roof. We decided to make the switch with Kota Energy Group after Taylor Blackmore helped us make sense of the numbers. Not only did Taylor help us with financing our system, he was there every step of the process. He is very professional and courteous, with a ton of expertise in the field. Good Service with KOTA in Pleasanton

Good and clear step by step progress provided by KOTA, and the young sales Rep Matteo. Installation service was done fantastic and great. Few issues I pointed out after installation and their CEO and Matteo contacted me directly and sincerely apologized for the issues and agreed to address it. Also they will monitor my system production and address any issue as needed. Good company and service overall.

Kota and Ben - Great Customer Service!

My husband I had just moved into our new home this past summer, and when we recieved the first few PG&E bills, we were shocked! We wanted to look into getting solar, but didn't know where to start. Luckily, Ben knocked on our door one evening and educated us on the pros of going Solar. He was thorough in his explaination and very patient in answering all of our questions (we had a lot!) From start to finish Ben made the process seamless, constantly checking in with us along the way. His communication was great! We Highly recommend Ben and Kota if you're looking to go Solar!

Love My Solar

What a difference customer service makes! On top of getting solar panels and saving a lot of money on electric bills, I made a friend. James Snyder, my rep, was referred to me by friends who had James as their rep when they had solar panels installed last year. Still, I obtained 3 estimates, as recommended. And after deliberating which company to choose, I went with Kota because of James. I can tell he truly enjoys his job, enjoys helping people, believes in his products and is patient to answer any questions and persistent enough without being overbearing. Pricing is very competitive. I also did my own research and I believe I got the best products for a very good price! Everyone from Kota, including the installers and the technician who came to make sure we passed the city inspection, was very professional. There was a delay in getting my solar panels online (there was an error which was fixed as soon as it was discovered, plus a couple of hiccups in scheduling the inspection) but I am so happy with the service. I also have to commend Mandi, who handled getting the Permission to Operate. She was responsive and patient. Thank you James, Mandi and Kota Energy!

We have been looking into solar for a while now but what made us really take action was having KOTA knock at our door. Kristian and Maximo took the time to go through all of our concerns and explained everything in detail so we knew what solar was all about and how KOTA could help us make the switch to solar. We know now that if we or my children go to sell the home one day it will be the premier property on the market as it is an asset on our home that has added over $15000 of direct equity to our home. Kristian & Maximo have continually followed up with us and constantly updated us with each step of the process and with each step everyone was on time. The financing numbers we looked at were great and gave us savings from day one where with each payment we are working towards owning our system and never paying an electric bill again. Lastly, beyond them following up with us each step of the way they brought over gifts and made in-home visits throughout the process. When we initially sat down they brought us these custom KOTA cookies with our name on them and when they brought a gift for the system finally being installed, let's just say Leslie's jaw dropped to the floor. Leslie is the biggest Tigger fan in the world with almost every piece of Tigger memorabilia possible. So when Kristian brought by the gift we were stunned to see it was a vintage 1970's Tigger cookie jar. And now it is heer most prized Tigger possession in her collection.
