So far it's been a good experience with KOTA Solar Kieran Wilson, the salesman was very patient answering my questions and informing us through the whole process. Yes my electric bill has gone down to zero. So we are very pleased with the solar panel installation we highly recommend KOTA

Awesome Rep

Skylar, a very young but very professional young man came up to me while I was reading on my porch. He told me that his company, KOTA Solar was installing solar systems in our neighborhood. My neighbor, a rocket scientist at LLNL and a trusted source, explained why he had chosen KOTA. My wife and I had been talking about the value of solar to us and had almost talked ourselves out of it. Between Skylar and our neighbor we got some solid info and went for it. It takes awhile to put the program together and get the city permits and another while to get the panels installed and working but the end result is very positive on paper. We are producing more power than we use and after 18 months we should see the financial benefit with a rebate check from PG&E. When we agreed originally there was no upfront cost. Since then the state has revised the process and there might be one now. The whole process was fairly simple and I would highly recommend chatting with Skylar when he knocks on your door.

We had some issues with the install with how long it took and some re-work but overall very glad we decided to go solar. Skylar S, our salesman is super knowledgeable and very polite. I reached out months after the system was turned on and he still remembered us and took the time to answer our questions. If you go solar we recommend Kota

Communication is key-Rep Chris Muncal

From the start to finish rep Chris Muncal was always in communications with me on the status of where my solar install was at. He was always responsive and acted quickly on my behalf. When I had some install issues, I immediately reached out to him and he was able to get the issued resolved within 48 hours. He's professional and friendly and willing to go above to make sure this customer was satisfied...and I am! Thanks Chris

It was a pleasure working with Nathan Rice. He explained the system well and was very professional. I am happy with the service and plan to refer as many people as possible.

Our rep’s (Jake) suggestion to bundle a roof replacement with our solar installation was key. We went with a solar reflective shingle and have noticed our house is noticeably cooler, and really appreciate getting the tax credit on the bundled system. Contracting and financing were state of the art. And installation crews and equipment quality were excellent. The system works seamlessly. Coordination and timing of the work was a bit frustrating, and it was difficult to communicate with office staff, hence my rating of 4 out of 5.

He was very informative / Knowledgeable, he listened to our concerns and was easily available anytime to get in touch with, even on the weekends. He made the transition relatively seamless.
