Their bank fees were never mentioned Some how 3425 additional was added to my estimate when 1/2. My roof was off forcing me to get the work done Now that the work is done their bank Mosaic doesn't post payments and so far giving me the run around where my payment went

Beware!! My wife wanted the Tesla Solar Roof, their sales guy talked her out of that and then into their system showing her and then myself his electric bill with a $15.00 charge saying that is what we would see in bills after the system was installed. First off their sales person is not an employee they are just contractors who get a commission so don't believe them!! They seemed nice, came out, evaluated the roof, then changed the roof, roofing team left debris around which cost me $25.00 to fix a nail in my truck tire. Reached out, not even an apology let alone paying for the tire fix. System got installed, was promised a transfer switch for my generator, never happened, all sorts of excuses. System cause systems in my house to operate erratically. Power output not as promised, they put panels on the back and front of the house, back is south facing front is north facing. The rear does generate well, the front at best 25% of the rear. Contacted them, they refused to move the panels to the rear, but would be happy to sell me more and place those on the rear. What's wrong with that picture? System shut down a number of times and I had to troubleshoot since they barely looked into it, found out that one of their wires in the breaker panel was not inserted into the breaker correctly. We don't even get 25% coverage of our needs.

When I install my solar back in 2017 with Hytech , I was told by sell representative it will cost me $1000 to remove and reinstall solar panel if I need to do new roof later on. I need new roof now , they giving me estimate almost $9000 just to remove and reinstall my 32 panels . Please be careful dealing with them !

I had a salesman/manager Sean Benedetto who was great at first and promised in writing a $500 Referral check to me if i got him someone to do the solar installation as well. I got my coworker who lives 5 minutes away from me to do it shortly after and I haven't received anything at all. I have been calling them for the past 5 months waiting on referral money as I am about to have a new child and could really use the extra money. Sean avoids my calls and texts since my project has been completed. Hytech just says that the referral fee is between Sean and I and not through them, even though he is the one that represents them and coordinated the entire project. Regarding the solar equipment itself the package I was recommended and purchased is way too big for my home and now I am on the hook for a loan for a larger amount then what i should have. I am not sure if they miss-calculated my usage or just wanted to sell me more panels as of now only after a few months I have a surplus of MULTIPLE MEGA Watts .. (MEGA) not a typo that's 1MW = 1,000 KW . My daily home usage is only between 20-30 KW. You do not get to sell these energy credits, only use them so I guess I might as well run my AC all summer long with the windows open! BEWARE Once they get your money your on your own!

Recently I had our solar panel system installed by Hytech. There are many solar panel companies these days. What differentiates a company from their competitiors is their staff - employees who make the extra effort. I would like to commend the following people - Louis, Adis, the master electrician Timmy, and Cindi. Thank you.

- After install 1 panel not producing like the others. I called customer service which claimed they’re replace it under warranty. On the app, they then swapped that underproducing panel to a different location. Then claim the underproduction was because of a shadow so it’s now not covered by warranty. Shady tactic. They never told me about the switch and I found out because I luckily took screen shots of the production for some days. I wished there was honesty from the beginning. 621kWh switched positions all of sudden. - I had to call for everything, like the malfunctioning panel/micro-inverter - call for them to install critter guards. - good and on point sales rep Anthony who was expeditious in response and gave me a good deal was the only good thing about Hytech

I would love to recommend Hytech Solar to anyone who’s interested in getting Solar Panels for their home. This company is Amazing! From start to finish the process was seamless. My salesperson and support team was led by John M and my installer was Josh. They were both Professional, Patient and willing to go above and beyond to help me under the entire process. Installed solar panels in May 2021, the company did a poor roof assessment and stated our roof was in okay condition. We have had a leak in our roof under the panels for over 10 days now and Hytech has still not given us a quote or answer regarding fixing it. We have been contacting the company every day begging them to respond to us with a quote so we can pay to get it fixed. No one is being clear with us. We have a 9 month baby at home and just want this to be fixed. We are begging the company to respond, be clear; and send someone to fix the damage.

Everything went perfect installation and energy savings

Don’t try them , go somewhere else. They installed a system in my house that barely can stand my consumption ,I end up by paying the loan and paying the electric bills, way more than I used to pay monthly . I called their tech( David) , he came for a visit , end up by offering me another installation of 18 more panels, with $ 22k more, with a new loan. His excuse is my hot tub is consuming more , and this hot tub was before the data collection for the system with complete 8 month. So on behalf of admitting the calculation mistake , saying that my consumption went up, what a joke . I’m not happy with them , as this can be avoid by doing the right calculation from the beginning. Now I’m stuck and don’t know what to do. Really looking on forward for fixing the issue , the company is decent , but this mistake end up by scamming me. Update: So far a phone call from 2 weeks, trying to convince me to change and remove the review that I post it. I explained that people need to see the good and the bad in any company, and this is a problem that need to be take care of. First thing, turned out that i dont need another 18 panels and that my system can get fixed without adding that much of panels. However , they have to go back to the owner and get things through him first and get back to me. this is 2 weeks now when in the phone mentioned that they wil need couple of days. As i mentioned earlier, they did the wrong calculation from the beginning and never have the production right to cover the consumption. In the mean time, i still stuck paying more the loan and the bill to PSEG, which is more than what i use to pay without this loan for solar . waiting on solving it, and will keep update in case they call with solution or not. I dont see any bad reviews updated from any customer. really frustrated when see the company only reply the good reviews when they should take care of mistakes they done with my calculation, and only ask me to change the take out the review I wrote with honesty, hope to see they will fix it.

There are numerous solar companies out there and certainly on Long Island. Hytech made this process easy from the start. I specifically had a great experience with the installation team who started off on time and extremely friendly. Chris walked me through every step of the way and was overly aware of the young children in my house and worked with us to have their lunch during nap time to avoid too much noise. I would highly recommend hytech and commend Chris on his superb customer service!

Chris and his crew did an awesome job installing our solar system. They worked quick, clean and even picked up some remaining nails from a new roof installation left over from the previous week. Before the installation was completed I was a bit concerned about the looks of the gray wiring tube on the black roof (visible from the street) but was assured the tubing would be painted black to match the roof color. I appreciate that pro active approach. Chris explained everything in detail about the installation process, how the system works, how to monitor the usage on the App, inspection, what issues could arise, how to solve possible issues, etc. in an easy to understand way. Overall an exceptionally good experience.

Hytech Solar installed my solar panels in November 2019. Great job. Even the local squirrel family thought so. Momma and pups decided to use the solar panels as a roof over their heads. Contacted my exterminator and they recommended that I contact my Solar company and have them install "critter guards" before the squirrels could cause any damage. Contacted Hytech, Leigh set up the appointment and critter guards were installed. Travis, Hytech's awesome Service Technician was on time and did a meticulous job!!! Thanks Hytech, I have peace of mind knowing that my panels are protected. A worthwhile investment!!!

We had a good installation experience with HyTech Solar. Both crews (roof replacement & solar panel installers) were professional and courteous. They treated our house and property with respect and patiently answered numerous questions. The equipment installed (which included 21 Solaria PowerXT 355R-AC solar panels) is state-of-the-art. The panels have been up and running for 3 months now and, so far, are working well. Our latest PSEG bill was $11.29 for deliver & system charges and applicable taxes. We also like the online software that allows us to monitor the kilowatt-hours with import and export to and from the grid.

Leigh was all around amazing and attentive, walked me thru the process from start to finish. She did what she said she was going to do and on time. I couldn't ask for a better company for the entire process.

When I saw all of the five star reviews I thought maybe their friends were doing them. Not so, this company deserves all the credit, and works hard for every good recommendation they receive. When I first met their representative, Chris Pentaleri, I was very impressed with his knowledge of solar panels and his interest in providing the best product available for their customers. I say this because when I questioned anything about the process I received a sincere honest answer. If he didn't have the answer you researched it got back to me. I had certain opinions on the products to be used and my research confirmed that they are giving me the best product at a good price on the market. The installation and setup was perfect. It operates without a flaw. I expected to get about 30,000 kW on the proposed system. It is now five months ago since it was installed and I am receiving over 40,000 kW per day! The excess is saved at PSEG for rainy day. You can't ask for more than that. The day after the system was installed and operating a couple of employees came over to perform some minor details. I was so impressed with the process and the system I asked how I could contact the owner. To my surprise one of the men stepped up and said “I am the owner”. I told him about the great staff he has and how professional they are. For the owner to follow up personally on the installation is another sign of the pride and dedication this company has. If you want honest input, excellent work ethic and follow-up when you need it, this is the company you may want to check into. I know you won't be disappointed. This is the 1st time I took a telemarket call and bought what was being sold. We couldn't be more satisfied for the patience, honesty, and professionalism. They took a tree down for us and are upgrading our electrical feed into the house. The greatest annoyance came from the town with the permit. I had no intention of going solar but it was a no brainer to literally replace an electric bill with a loan that won't increase. They took care of everything. In December we purchased our home and one of the projects we ere considering was converting to solar. We had been in our house a few weeks and one of the staff from Hytech Solar called to set up a consultation. After meeting with our Representative/Project Manager Chris Jelley we were convinced of the conversion and the product offered by Hytech. After many years of solar companies telling us that the oak trees blocking our house made us not a good fit for solar, Valerie at Hytech was the first to offer to remove the trees that were blocking the sun. She also took care of replacing the old roof before the solar install. The only issue we had was when they removed the old shingles, they found that most of the plywood sheathing was rotting. She arranged for the roofing crew to wait while over 100 sheets of new plywood were delivered so that they could replace the entire roof. She was on site for the tree work, the roofing job and the solar job. As I had to be at work all those days, it was reassuring to have Valerie there watching the work and calling my cell phone any time there were questions or decisions to be made.

Mark T. from HyTech Solar did a wonderful job explaining everything, and made our transition as smooth as possible. He was instrumental in making this happen, and we could not be happier with his assistance! The installation was a success, completed in one day and looks fantastic. We are looking forward to using these panels for years to come.

The Hytech Solar Installers arrived promptly on time and got right to work. Their crew and equipment are professional and are more than adequate to do the job. The installation went very smoothly and we could not have been happier with the job. The job took about 5 hours from beginning to end. Our project manager Victoria Wagner was there every step of the way, keeping us informed, from the signing of the contract to the completion of the job. My sales person mark Taddonio was really nice , from the first time I met him . He was always available if I had to call him. He knew about the product and warrantes etc. . When the panels came he called and set a date and time.The men came On that date and on time . It was a great experience . They left a nice clean Area as if they weren't even here.
