Hooked On Solar

Best tech ever

I am so sad to learn that Jesus Garcia is not their no more he was the reason i was going to go for a second time to HOS . He was very professional very knowledgeable on everything and answered all my questions from A to Z. Where ever this young gentlemen goes he will be an asset to any company personally if i were the owner id look for him and hire him back lol . He didn't leave my house until he confirmed all panels were operating while creating my account he did find some of the panels were not reporting went into action and got on the roof I loved that he first secured his ladder and even put on a harness took off a few panels and figured out some were not connected appropriately so he fixed it, Came back down and finished my account with computer . If you ever get the chance to get him back do it he really is one of the reasons i would come back for a second system . And I'm sure alot of other home owners he has serviced feel the same way ..

Very Professional

Jon Lansman was very professional, polite and thorough. He was a pleasure to work with during this process.

Good produce and people

We chose Hooked on Solar because of the product they offered (a 6.4 kw system using Sunpower panels) and because of the relationship we quickly developed with Jon Landsman as out customer service rep. Now that we’re at the end of the process, we’re delighted with out choice. Good system output after the first few weeks, and great service all the way through the process.

Fast friendly non pressured service

best quality, longevity made in USA.

Just the Best!!!

My decision to go with Hooked on Solar was based in part i have owned 2 prior Sun Power solar systems and am pretty much sold on the their product. However it was important to me to have the customer service that i expected to be excellent as well. i was not disappointed. Jon and the HOS team did a fantastic job. From the very start, Jon was attentive and informative all the way through the process. the install team was efficient and professional, the administrative staff was as well. Jon has always kept me apprised of the process and was on site during the install as well. Great work. HOS may not be the cheapest, but i believe they are the best when you consider all the factors (Sales, Service, Product, and Warranty). Thanks Jon and the entire HOS Team.

Great service

Sunpower by Hooked On Solar fulfilled every expectation I had. Prior to finding them, I researched several companies and was provided quotes. I was either faced with mediocre customer service or a product that I wasn't excited about. I have been very fortunate to connect with Jon Landsman, the gentlemen who is the Sales Manager in my area. Right out of the gate Jon was very professional, friendly and was wealth of knowledge to help educate me on the solar product I was looking for and received. Throughout the process Jons communication was nothing short of outstanding. He made calls and sent texts to update me on next steps, and even stopped in to say hello during installation and completion, to ensure everything was in order as planned. In addition, Jon made sure that we were completely satisfied with the product I was getting. I found that Sunpower by Hooked On Solar was different than most solid providers; they are the manufacturer of the product, they are the installer, and they are the service provider after install. A complete package, rather than dealing with several vendors that would have one chase down liability in the event an issue were to arise in the future. Hats off to Jon and the Sunpower by Hooked On Solar Team!

Prompt skilled installation, clear explanations

We got a rooftop system. They clearly explained everything. The installation was as planned and was completed in less than a day! The system appears to be working great.

Steve V

Mitzi was great to work with! Patient, thorough in explaining options, and best of all, the system recommended has produced as promised (after one year).

Hooked on Solar Rocks

Had ground mounted system installed, crew did great job. They had to dig footing by hand because of were we wanted system. Had a problem with system about a year after it was installed and they came out and found a bad breaker. They actually went to hardware store and purchased new breaker. We've been very happy with the system and Hooked on Solar service.

Happy with our Solar

This review is long overdue. For years my wife and I have wanted to go solar. We contacted a well-known solar company and were at the point of scheduling the installation, but we never felt comfortable with the high-pressure sales pitch of who we were dealing with. With that we decided to hold off and cancel until we felt we were ready. A colleague at work told us about Bill Gurgol and how he was happy with his experience and his solar install. Bill reached out and we scheduled an appointment to meet. Bill was genuine, knowledgeable, and listened to all of our concerns and answered all of our questions. Bill is a guy who knows the industry and keeps up on the latest technologies. We were very impressed and immediately felt confident that this was the right way to go. He assured us that he would be with us every step of the way. The team from Hooked on Solar not only designed a system that fits our production needs, but also made sure that it was aesthetically pleasing to the eye. The installers were very friendly and professional. The installers ran the wiring through the attic space so that we do not have any unsightly conduit showing on the rooftop. The whole process from design to “permission to operate” was very fast and we were kept informed of every next step. Bill continues to follow up and check in with us to make sure we fully understand how to read our new bill and make sure everything is running properly and optimized for best results. We love monitoring our panels to watch how much power they are producing. We are extremely happy with our choice to go solar with Bill Gurgol and Hooked on Solar to guide us through what could have been a very scary process. Thank you, Bill and the Hooked on Solar team!

Hooked on Solar installed my system in Woodland

My ten panel system was installed by the Woodland team of Hooked on Solar. Quality components, great team, and satisfied customer a year and one half out.

Great Company to work With

Competitive pricing, efficient installations, and effective follow-up.

Solar ground mount

After much research, my husband and I decided to go with Hooked on Solar for Sunpower panels. Everything from the start has been easy and convenient. We signed in May 2018, and the install is now in progress (July 2018). So far everything is going well, we will see down the road if my energy bills do go down like promised.

Some like it hot

Took a relatively short period of time, install i one day. about 4-5 weeks from the time I went into the office to the date of install. The panels are unseen from the road. The app. keeps me updated on the amount of energy my panels are producing.

Happy and enjoying it

Love my SunPower panels, and Hooked on Solar did a great job from sales to install. Thank you Janelle and Beth!

Great Experience & Customer Service

from the beginning to now my experience with Sunpower by Hooked on Solar has been nothing but positive. I would recommend them to any of my friend and family as they are upfront with every detail and cost of their products. Installation was fast and no hassles.

Lovin' the Sun!

Great service, prompt, they took care of everything! Lovin' my new sun-power and NO PG&E bill!

Steven Miller

Working with Jannell at Hooked on Solar

This was the best experience and everything went as scheduled, could not ask for things to have gone any better. I highly recommend Hooked on solar. Work was done and clean up all finished in one day. Now enjoying the power of solar on my roof.

ED F

Tremendous service and knowledge from start to finish! Can't recommend them high enough. Have referred them to my friends and they have experienced the same "Five Star" treatment.

Great System

I just had my first true up with PG&E and I paid them $50. My Hooked On Solar system has worked just as planned. The install took about 4 hours and was done in a very professional manner. I had one minor problem of the system not reporting to my computer and the HOS team came out and reprogramed the system to my new WiFi and the issue was resolved. I am very happy with the entire experience.

Good job

Very efficient installation. Good panels that are producing as advertised. Reasonable price after negotiation and a 25 year warranty on system production. Only question is how "hooked on solar" will respond to service calls and warranty if needed. Will do a supplemental review when I have that experience.

Completely statisfied on response

Interviewed 10 firms, solicited bids from 4. Two were comparable. The other firm encountered contractual problems obtaining desired solar panels. Selected Hooked on Solar for their 25 year warranty which included roof leakage. Purchased system outright w/ self financing. Continue to receive cold calls from aggressive solar firms. One promised to cut my electric bill in half, until I explained prior month electric cost was $11 credit.

Hooked on solar

Researched a ton of companies. SunPower panels are simply the best. We decided to lease. Mike and Ed from Hooked in solar made the process so simple and easy to understand. Recommend this company without hesitation.
