Helios Energy Global

Best of the best, free batteries

Helios Energy Global set me up with solar and batteries at my home in Cerritos, and Mark and Cameron were knowledgeable and kind throughout the process. I had a lot of questions, but the customer service was excellent and the team always answered them in a way I could understand. The overall experience left me very satisfied, and I’d recommend Helios to anyone considering solar.

Reliable power for fire-affected business

We can't recommend Helios Energy Global services enough. Our company is in an area that was affected by the Wolsey Fire and we work on digital projects that require power to be on constantly. To know that we will never have to worry about the controlled power outages is priceless. They take care of everything, including permits and all the red tape. Around 60% will be covered by a rebate and the rest is a tax credit. It was too good of an opportunity to pass up.

A pleasure setting up solar

Worked with Mark Lewis and Manny Robbins on my house in SImi Valley. It was a pleasure working with them and getting my house setup for solar and backup batteries. The finish work and small installation details were handled carefully. The backup function is one of the most useful parts of the system for me.

Free batteries, knowledgeable team

Yafet and Taylor helped me get set up with the battery program, and both were knowledgeable and focused throughout the process. Their customer service was responsive, and Yafet kept me informed as each step moved forward. Helios Energy Global handled the installation and inspection without me needing to micromanage the project and I was very satisfied with the experience. I’d recommend the team to anyone looking at solar or battery storage.

Wonderful people, guided the financing

These are really wonderful people to work with! They helped guide me with the financing, and were courteous and informative with the installation. The team always kept things positive, with the common goals in mind. Santa Ana now has one more home helping the planet with renewable energy. I highly recommend!

Helped me understand the process

Helios’ customer service was excellent and I highly recommend their services if you are looking to upgrade your house or business. Working with Helios Energy Global was a great experience. I did not know any technical details about the solar system they were installing. Mark and Manny made sure to help me understand the process and how clean energy would be beneficial for me and my family.

Super smooth solar and Powerwalls

We are so happy with our solar panels and Tesla power walls, the whole process was super smooth and easy. The whole was very easy to work with and made sure we understood every part of the process. Would highly recommend.

Andrew's knock sparked our interest

Robert my consultant was very professional, and I was impressed with how knowledgeable and informative he was. I was seriously interested in solar, but I wasn't committed to Helios just yet when I started my search. I researched other options for solar, but Helios stood out above the competition. The fact they are a certified Tesla installer, their 25 year warranty, and the stellar professionalism of Robert were all reasons I chose Helios to be my solar provider.

Door knock led to battery storage

Mark came to my door unannounced one evening as we were preparing dinner. Thankfully I answered it and heard him out! He explained how people like me who have solar panels were eligible for free storage batteries through So Cal Edison and the Inflation Reduction Act. It sounded too good to be true, but he showed me the websites and all the paperwork, so I gave him the benefit of the doubt. Long story short, I was able to get batteries installed for my solar panels thanks to him and his team! It's not easy to find honest people in the business world, but Mark is definitely one of them. He answered all my questions and kept me in the loop throughout the entire process. The finished system is at my home in Thousand Oaks. Simple process, solid outcome. If you need solar or solar batteries, I highly recommend the company and their team!

Best in the business, 10/10

The best in the business. Patient, knowledgeable, and above all else, helping me save so much money. I wanted the work handled properly at my Los Angeles home, and If I had another similar project, I’d use Helios again. Absolute 10/10

Love that the CEO is involved, cheaper than Sunrun!

Taylor the CEO stayed involved and responsive throughout the project, and the customer service was strong. The proposal I compared came in below the Sunrun option I had looked at and included LG panels, which made the value attractive to me. Our system at our Santa Ana home has been working as planned with no issues, and we’ve even produced more electricity than we use at times. The company came across as ethical, honest, and engaged from beginning to end.

A pleasant company to work with

I don’t often get to say this but, what a pleasant company to work with. Darian and Cameron answered every question I had and made sure all my needs were met. I really wanted solar and I really needed it not to show on the front of my house. They figured out an excellent solution where those two items fit my home perfectly. The payment option we went with really helped so it didn’t need to be a burden on our finances as well. It is ridiculous how much money we saved with going solar. Truly such a good company to work with, from product, to installation, communication and SALES? I never liked sales people but these two dudes were kind, respectful and solid. Will use again for my next property! (And have already recommended to all neighbors and friends.)

Solar Installation in West Hills CA

Based on my experience, I’d recommend Helios Energy Global to anyone. I live in a high fire zone and Taylor provided us good education on what we need and how to get it done for the least amount of money. They handle everything from A-Z, you just need to sit back and let them do their job. The house for this project is in Irvine.

Acton solar installation

This project took patience because the batteries were backordered for a long time, but once they were installed, the system worked exactly as hoped. We recently had an outage at our home in Acton, and the batteries kicked in immediately. That was the moment the value of battery backup really became obvious. After seeing it work in real life, I’d recommend both the batteries and Helios Energy Global for the installation.

Helpful and completed on schedule

It was a pleasure working with Helios Energy Global for my solar project. Henry was really helpful throughout the process. He answered my questions and explained how the system works. The work was completed at my home in Anaheim. The installation was completed in a timely manner and all appointments were made around my schedule. They also took care of all necessary permits including the city inspection.

Batteries, solar, and panel upgrade

Mark Lewis and the Helios Energy Global team were great to work with on our project in Camarillo. They installed the battery packs, solar panels, and an upgraded electrical panel, and the project has now been complete for about eight months. What impressed me is that the support didn’t stop after installation—Mark has continued checking in and is even helping me get more familiar with the app. That kind of customer service is why I’d recommend him and the team.

Tesla Battery add, top tier communication

We added Tesla batteries to our existing solar system, and Taylor did a great job explaining how everything would work before the project started. Communication stayed frequent, the crew was polite and professional, and the workmanship on the electrical panel upgrade was especially clean. The system is at our home in San Dimas, and we now have battery backup for outages plus the ability to store excess solar production for use in the evening. The app also makes it easy to see both battery activity and solar production. We’d absolutely recommend Helios Energy Global for battery storage.

Battery backup with discounts + my very knowledgeable sales rep

I just got a battery backup from Helios Energy Global, and I’m really impressed! Best part, got a big discount and reb ate thanks to all the programs Steven walked me through. He was super knowledgeable and took the time to answer all my questions, which made me feel really comfortable with the whole process. I wanted the work handled properly at my Camarillo property. Anytime I had a concern, he explained everything in a way that made sense. The backup capability is one of the practical benefits I value most. Overall, great experience and awesome service. The combination of solid work and good communication left me happy with the result. I highly recommend!

Patient, thorough, awesome to work with

We worked with Taylor to add Tesla Powerwalls and additional solar panels to our home, and he was great to work with throughout the process. He never pressured us into making a decision and gave us plenty of time to think everything through. Taylor also took multiple calls with us to answer questions and make sure we felt comfortable moving forward. We had a great experience with Plug It In Solar on the installation side as well. Any concerns that came up during the process were taken seriously and addressed. Overall, we were very happy with the experience and would definitely recommend Taylor, Helios, and the installation team to others.

Seamless Powerwall installation

I recently had a Tesla Powerwall system installed by Helios and had a great experience from start to finish. Mark was extremely helpful throughout the process, walking me through each step and making sure all of my questions were answered. The installation went smoothly, and the system has been working perfectly ever since. I’ve been very impressed with both the quality of the installation and the performance of the battery system. Overall, Helios exceeded my expectations, and I would highly recommend them to anyone considering a Tesla Powerwall or home battery solution.

Seamless and clear, working great

From the initial consultation through the installation, the team was professional, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. They took the time to explain everything clearly and kept the entire process smooth and straightforward. The installation went well, and my solar system has been working great. I’m already starting to notice savings on my energy bill, which has been great to see. Overall, I had a very positive experience and would definitely recommend them to anyone considering going solar.

Charlie was amazing, son was right

I was a little hesitant about going solar at first. Then my son called me and told me he was getting solar through Helios and that his representative, Charlie, was amazing. I decided to give Charlie a call, and my son was absolutely right. I first called in March, and by April I had 24 solar panels installed on my roof. On Monday, June 30, I’ll also be getting my Tesla batteries installed. Every person I’ve met from Helios who came to my home has been exceptional—courteous, attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely concerned about doing a great job. I would highly recommend Helios to anyone considering solar. I’m sure they have a great team overall, but if you get the chance to work with Charlie, she is incredible.

Clean install of three Powerwalls

3 Tesla Powerwalls, came out super clean. My husband laid this concrete slab before the installer and the team did a fantastic job. Was super thrilled that they were able to make a massive state grant happen for us that up until we spoke with Helios, had no idea existed! Higher recommend this company!

Best of three installers used

This is my third install (second house) and all three have been with different vendors. Helios did a great job from beginning to end. We have a big skylight that made design a challenge but we worked through it and got 25 panels on the roof. I appreciated the options of panel wattage and quality and we went for the best because of our relatively limited space. Besides the skylight I was deadset on not seeing the panels from the street so we worked through that as well. They gave me a proposal for Tesla Powerwalls but the business case didn't add up because LADWP was still giving full value for selling back to the grid unlike other utilities. I appreciated the option and discussion. I was very engaged in the whole process and it worked smoothly and we are generating over 30kWh a day if I'm reading my Enphase site correctly.
