The proposal I compared came in below the Sunrun option I had looked at and included LG panels, which made the value attractive to me. Our system at our Santa Ana home has been working as planned with no issues, and we’ve even produced more electricity than we use at times. The company came across as ethical, honest, and engaged from beginning to end.

Based on my experience, I’d recommend Helios Energy Global to anyone. I live in a high fire zone and Taylor provided us good education on what we need and how to get it done for the least amount of money. They handle everything from A-Z, you just need to sit back and let them do their job. The house for this project is in Irvine.

This project took patience because the batteries were backordered for a long time, but once they were installed, the system worked exactly as hoped. I was a little hesitant about going solar at first. Then my son called me and told me he was getting solar through Helios and that his representative, Charlie, was amazing. I decided to give Charlie a call, and my son was absolutely right. I first called in March, and by April I had 24 solar panels installed on my roof. On Monday, June 30, I’ll also be getting my Tesla batteries installed. Every person I’ve met from Helios who came to my home has been exceptional—courteous, attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely concerned about doing a great job. 3 Tesla Powerwalls, came out super clean. My husband laid this concrete slab before the installer and the team did a fantastic job. Was super thrilled that they were able to make a massive state grant happen for us that up until we spoke with Helios, had no idea existed! Higher recommend this company!

This is my third install (second house) and all three have been with different vendors. Helios did a great job from beginning to end. We have a big skylight that made design a challenge but we worked through it and got 25 panels on the roof. I appreciated the options of panel wattage and quality and we went for the best because of our relatively limited space. Besides the skylight I was deadset on not seeing the panels from the street so we worked through that as well. They gave me a proposal for Tesla Powerwalls but the business case didn't add up because LADWP was still giving full value for selling back to the grid unlike other utilities. I appreciated the option and discussion. I was very engaged in the whole process and it worked smoothly and we are generating over 30kWh a day if I'm reading my Enphase site correctly.

These guys rock! I was on the fence between them and Sunrun, they were just a tad higher on the monthly but it turned out to be absolutely the right call. My neighbor went with Sunrun and he’s had a hell of a time, they’re still not done!!! nonetheless Helios got everything done quickly and with ease, and the customer service has been phenomenal. We love our Solar! Helios Energy Global did a superb job on our solar & battery installation on our home in Santa Monica. They did such a good job in fact that we gave them our second home (rental) in Simi Valley as well! We have a composite shingle roof on the first home, flat tile roof on the second, and they crushed both roof types. I had the pleasure to work with Helios Solar(Mark and team) for my solar panel and Tesla battery packs. I was concerned about having a company come out and alter my new metal roof but Helios figured out how to mount the solar panels. I experienced amazing service throughout the installation. Entire project will start to finish was first class. Yes, it took long, But it was well worth it. We ended up getting plenty of solar to include two batteries. I charge two electrical cars and the batteries are good enough to take me through the whole night without using the grid. I couldn’t be happier. Their customer service will start to finish the first class.

Overall, the goal was to get 2 batteries installed through the SCE SGIP program without any out of pocket $. There were some bumps in the road, and I had to be involved a lot due to the installer, but after several months, the Batteries were installed and working properly. I ultimately received my SGIP rebate check and was able to write 30% off my tax return. So, a success.

Helios added battery backup to our existing solar system. The savings have not been as much as anticipated, but it is great to have the backup when SCE does emergency power shutoffs.
