After comparing a handful of companies, we chose Taylor Crouse, Helios Energy Global, and the Plug It In team for our project. Taylor approached the job more like an educator and project quarterback than a salesperson, coordinating the roofer, electrician, permits, and installation. Our system uses Enphase equipment and Panasonic panels, and the project came in on time and on budget. We’ve been using the Enphase app to track production and consumption and have been very happy with the system. The project was completed on our our home in Agoura Hills, and I’d highly recommend Taylor and his team.

The pricing was competitive, the presentation was detailed, and the installation at my home in Redlands took about two business days before the inspection process. Taylor addressed all my concerns and we are very satisfied with the service we received. The guys from Helios Energy Global came to us in the middle of an SCE PSPS power outage. It was our second one and we had absolutely no experience with it and were looking for better solutions. They were able to answer all of our many questions and were diligent about keeping in touch and responding to all of our inquiries. They came out to our house multiple times and extensively explained the process from financing to installation. Even during and after installation Taylor was in touch making sure the process was going smoothly.

I did a lot of research before choosing Helios Energy Global because price alone wasn’t enough for a project this large. Darien and Taylor gave me confidence that the company would protect my interests and follow through. For our project in Los Angeles, Plug It In Solar handled the installation while the team worked through permits, inspections, LADWP, and the city’s building-and-safety process. There were bureaucratic delays, but Helios knew how to keep things moving. The combination of reasonable pricing, customer service, and local experience is what made the difference for me.

Helios Energy Global is a turnkey experience throughout the process. For my home in Fountain Valley everyone I worked with was on top of their game and enjoyable to deal with! I'd had people warn me how invasive it can be to have solar installed but it was a quick two day process (as promised) and everyone who came out to my place was so polite, respectful, and kind. All the techs were sensitive to the fact that they were on my property and gave me updates as to what was going on and kept me posted on their timeline. I've had a lot of work done at my place and therefore have worked with a lot of different crews and I get stressed even before a project starts. This was one of the most low-stress projects and I attribute that to everyone's good attitude and a really good work structure. I'm so happy I chose to work with Helios!

Of all the solar contractors who bid the job, he was the only one to promise a quick turnaround for my property in Del Rey. Then he surprised me again by actually delivering a quality job faster than promised. My wife was impressed with the installers; they were fast and efficient, but still took time to answer all the questions she asked. They were in and out in a day, and the only hold up on the job was waiting for the LADWP to do their inspection. And they sent a man to wait for the inspector, so I didn't have to hang around. The follow up was great, too. As soon as LADWP cleared the project, they contacted me to arrange for monitoring. I haven't seen great service like that in quite a while.

We can't recommend Helios Energy Global services enough. Our company is in an area that was affected by the Wolsey Fire and we work on digital projects that require power to be on constantly. To know that we will never have to worry about the controlled power outages is priceless. They take care of everything, including permits and all the red tape. Around 60% will be covered by a rebate and the rest is a tax credit. It was too good of an opportunity to pass up.

Robert my consultant was very professional, and I was impressed with how knowledgeable and informative he was. Based on my experience, I’d recommend Helios Energy Global to anyone. I live in a high fire zone and Taylor provided us good education on what we need and how to get it done for the least amount of money. They handle everything from A-Z, you just need to sit back and let them do their job. The house for this project is in Irvine.

This project took patience because the batteries were backordered for a long time, but once they were installed, the system worked exactly as hoped. We recently had an outage at our home in Acton, and the batteries kicked in immediately. That was the moment the value of battery backup really became obvious. I was a little hesitant about going solar at first. Then my son called me and told me he was getting solar through Helios and that his representative, Charlie, was amazing. I decided to give Charlie a call, and my son was absolutely right. I first called in March, and by April I had 24 solar panels installed on my roof. On Monday, June 30, I’ll also be getting my Tesla batteries installed. Every person I’ve met from Helios who came to my home has been exceptional—courteous, attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely concerned about doing a great job. 3 Tesla Powerwalls, came out super clean. My husband laid this concrete slab before the installer and the team did a fantastic job. Was super thrilled that they were able to make a massive state grant happen for us that up until we spoke with Helios, had no idea existed! Higher recommend this company!

This is my third install (second house) and all three have been with different vendors. Helios did a great job from beginning to end. We have a big skylight that made design a challenge but we worked through it and got 25 panels on the roof. I appreciated the options of panel wattage and quality and we went for the best because of our relatively limited space. Besides the skylight I was deadset on not seeing the panels from the street so we worked through that as well. They gave me a proposal for Tesla Powerwalls but the business case didn't add up because LADWP was still giving full value for selling back to the grid unlike other utilities. I appreciated the option and discussion. I was very engaged in the whole process and it worked smoothly and we are generating over 30kWh a day if I'm reading my Enphase site correctly.

These guys rock! I was on the fence between them and Sunrun, they were just a tad higher on the monthly but it turned out to be absolutely the right call. My neighbor went with Sunrun and he’s had a hell of a time, they’re still not done!!! nonetheless Helios got everything done quickly and with ease, and the customer service has been phenomenal.
