BUYER BEWARE SCAM COMPANY

Buyer BEWARE of this SCAM company. They actively do the Bait & Switch for their ads. Even if they put it in writing that you will get a $1000.00 rebate check from their company, YOU WILL NEVER SEE IT THEY LIE. Also, do NOT click the button stating the installation is complete until you verify with your Power Company that you are connected to the grid. I was coerced into stating the install was done. This starts the countdown for starting your loan payments. After the 2 month grace period before the loan payments started, I am still NOT connected to my power grid. I made my 1st loan payment today and I literally have solar panels on my roof that are NOT connected to my energy grid. So now I have to pay a loan and an energy bill. I am actually dealing with the CEO Robby at this company. I am getting the run around, I am being told their proposals mean NOTHING. So if you are promised something in a proposal according to CEO Robby is means NOTHING. I have a text message from him that states their ads mean nothing and their proposals mean nothing. So before you agree the install is done, get your rebate check from them in your hands or you will never see it. Make sure your are connected to your power grid or DO NOT AGREE IT IS FULLY INSTALLED. MINE IS NOT 6 MONTHS LATER. Then CEO Robby said he would also give me $190.00 equal to 1 months loan payment for the inconvenience. And 2 months later NOTHING. And yes he is tyring to get out of paying me what he personnally promised me too, go figure. DO NOT TRUST ANYTHING ANYONE AT THIS COMPANY SAYS OR PROMISES YOU. YOU WON'T GET FUNCTIONAL SOLAR AND YOU WON'T GET YOUR REBATES. THEY ARE VERY GOOD SCAM ARTISTS!!!!!

No contact after the sale.

I have repeatedly tried calling and all I get is a recording with no follow-up on their part. How do I get in contact with these people? No matter how good the product is, if you don't have customer service, it doesn't matter.

Worst customer service ever

Worse customer service ever! my system went down in April of this year. it took almost 10 weeks for them to fix and i had to fight to get someone on the phone. customer service is a voice mail that no one returns. i had to call the financing company that financed my solar to have someone from green home systems to contacted me after i threatened to stop paying. this is the second time my system went down. also, the owner contacted Yelp and had some of my reviews removed. i was updating via yelp because that's the only thing he cared about was the reviews. honestly... solar is a scam! the amount that's produced vs what you pay for them is not worth it at all! and by the time you pay them off they're outdated and only producing "80%" of the newly installed or so they say. its a pain to try and sell your home with solar. it doesn't increase the value of your home and the buyer has to assume payments of them if they want to buy the house. i was told by the company the lean can be temporary removed to sell then paid off. not true. and getting youre roof fixed is a nightmare. its just not worth it!

$4,000 owed to me due to company error

Green home systems made a mistake with the total cost of our system, amending the original loan amount for an extra $4000 to install supports in our attic then later told us they mistakenly got the wrong house, and we didn’t need the supports. When I asked if we could put the loan back to the original amount, they said they couldn’t do this, but that they could reimburse us the $4,000. This was 4-5 months ago. I have not received a check. I keep being told that they would look into it when I asked about it. Now I cannot get ahold of our project manager, or anyone live to speak with at the four other phone numbers I have called. So, basically this company has stolen $4,000 from me.

My second time using Green Home Systems

This is my second time using Green Home Systems and I highly recommend! They installed our system quickly and kept us updated throughout the process. Moreover they were the best value. I made sure to get several estimates before hiring them.

GHS was a pleasure to work with

The people at Green Home Systems were delightful to work with. The system is up and running and producing three or four times what I use. So far so good! Hopefully, the power company will give me a good rate for my kWh!

Have been dealing with their customer service for over a year about their panels not producing what we were told ,have notified them multiple times about a leak in our master bath which is now bubbling the drywall from the installation of the panels and after multiple and I mean multiple calls and texts to them still nothing has been repaired or even looked at all they tell or text you is someone from management will contact you if after months later someone does finally contact you good luck with reaching out to them if you don't answer the phone.... After all this nonsense with the Incompetence of this company my next step is legal representation

This has been a very pleasant experience. From start to finish. Everyone have been friendly and easy to work with. I recommend Green Home Systems to anyone looking for a solar system.

I had a hailstorm total my roof and solar panels. We had a long journey getting the roof replaced so we could get the solar panels replaced. My dispatcher for GHS, Cedric Anthony, was as professional as it gets. He was there every step of the way guiding me and pulling the strings to get the job done. Green Home Systems, Inc. is a Terrific Solar Company!!

I couldn't be happier with Green Home Systems, Inc. Their no-pressure salesman, Itai Hazan, was incredibly informed, and gave me excellent advice. He's a truly wonderful person, and GHS are lucky to have him! I love my solar panels, especially the money they save me, and I've even gotten a few checks from the power company! I also enjoyed the people from Otto Electric, who installed the panels for me. They were so fast--everything was done in about a week! I would definitely recommend GHS to anyone who is serious about solar energy, saving the planet, and especially saving money! Green Home Systems is the best!!

GHS DOES NOT PAY INSTALLERS

As many other posts on here have stated, we worked as installer for GHS. Everything was great until it was time to pay! They owe upwards of $16,000 and refuse to respond to texts, emails, or phone calls. *INSTALLERS BEWARE, DO NOT WORK FOR THIS COMPANY* I have reached out to Jesse, Cat, Armine, Isaac, Rain, Accounting, the supposed office manager, and the answering service.

I have never had a negative review for any business except for Green Home Systems. I thought that I made a good choice to go solar with GHS because of their good reviews. However, I have had a very bad experience with them. Not to mention the payment issue, then I paid the system in full. There were lots of issues but I will only mention a few. They delivered the wrong solar panels, and the installers damaged my roof then they took the tiles from other parts of my roof to replace the broken tiles at the solar installation areas. They also tricked us by gluing the broken tiles together. Regarding the paperwork process, they were unprofessional and irresponsible. They submitted the NEM application to the SCE in March but put the wrong information. I became more frustrated and exhausted after they changed the project manager, Evelyn Talavera never updates the client regarding the process, she never answers the phone, never returns calls and/or replies to the emails except when higher-ups are involved. Therefore, I called the SCE on July 14 to get myself an updated PTO status and found out that the application is pending due to missing the Final Inspection that was passed on June 2, 2023 (1 and ½ month ago). I called/emailed Evelyn as well as her supervisor Rain Barclipt and Irina Helm to request uploading the Final Inspection to the SCE. On July 26, 2023, I spoke to the SCE and again found out the Final inspection submission was the incorrect document. I made several calls and left voice messages, no one from GHS (from customer service to the supervisor/manager) answered or returned my calls as well as replied to my emails. It has currently been over 6 months since contract was signed and It’s been almost 2 months since the city inspection passed (June 2, 2023), but they have not submitted the correct document to SCE. The NEM application is pending review and the PTO is pending for approval because GHS delayed submitting the correct documents. Due to all of this, I am suspicious of their 25 years Triple Guard Warranty/All Guard Warranty.

GHS never paid my installer, even though I paid in full 6 months ago. Now the installer is threatening to put a lien on my property. The lawyers told me they have done the same to 9 other customers in my area.

I want to thank Green home systems, and especially Anat the project manager who regularly followed up and kept me informed of every step, until the project was complete. She even made adjustments to the plan, when she saw it could be a better aesthetically layout. The installers were professional, considerate and made sure they didn't damage anything in the process of their installation. Finally, the sales person, he was thorough in his explanation and very competitive in offering me a fair price. Thanks Green Home Systems :)

As part of capture team representing NAACP Johnstown Branch, assessments were made in reference to recommending solar for local residents. It was determined that roof top systems could not be recommended. Although I owned a new house, I installed a ground mount array to prototype such an array for older structures. Immediately I saw benefits in ground mounts for maintenance and general access. I found fully recommended Green Home Systems for ground mounts. Then we the system was installed Dale the installer did an excellent job with installing our system and taking extra care of our yard as we had a ground mount system installed. I would highly recommend Green Home Systems for your solar needs.

Experience with the materials and with the amount of panels that needs base on my energy consumption. Great customer service, and very well explained on how the solar panels work, Nestor was very well explained in detail and provided me with the exact amount on panels for the size of my house. He also told me that I the future I can add more panels, depending on the energy needs.
