Had Good Faith Energy install my Tesla Wall Charger and the experience was excellent from start to finish. The crew was professional, honest, and upfront about everything — no surprises. The installation itself was clean and well done. I'd recommend them to anyone looking for energy or solar work — they also do roofing, and I wish I'd used them for that too. Highly recommend.

Good Faith Energy was great to work with in the planning and installation of our Sigenergy system and REC panels. There was one issue found after installation (too many panels on one string). The issue was fixed in a reasonable time. Our 11 kw system has been providing over half of our energy needs (installed mid-July 2026). Would highly recommend Good Faith Energy. In addition, Power-Up (a GFE sub) installed our Critter Guard to keep squirrel/birds/etc from damaging the panel wiring. They did an excellent job and even cleaned the panels. Would highly recommend them also.

Great experience with Good Faith Energy! I’ve looked into solar several times over the years but never felt comfortable moving forward until now. Meghan designed a system around our usage and recommended batteries so we’ll have backup power during outages. Great pricing and we’re so glad we waited for the right company! They also discovered some weather-related roof damage during the site visit, and the Good Faith Roof team took care of the repairs. Highly recommend!

I spent time reading the reviews for a local solar system for our home and was very impressed by the detail provided by customers of Good Faith Energy. I am another very satisfied customer for a few reasons: (1) They were very professional from our initial call through the agreement process, installation and post-install; (2) Omar provided clarity on what was going to take place; (3) Franz came for the site review and was very informative in his visit and again, after the installation, conducting the post-install training on both the solar system application (setting our desired profile, performance optimization and other functionality) as well as the SPAN app, which is a "smart breaker panel" allowing for remote access to turn on/off each breaker circuit and set circuit priority groupings in the event of power outages). They did, what they said they would do, including the timeframe to complete. There was no stress in their turn-key operation. Also, a shout out to Amanda, who our coordinator during the installation phase - she was friendly, communicative and responsive. Thank you Good Faith Energy for a job (very) well done!

Highly recommended. Great service and communication. The Good Faith Energy team definitely know how to size, design, and deploy their solutions. My home was installed with a Tesla Powerwall3 and SPAN smart panel. Before installation, I felt comfortable with the steps to come up with a final solution such as placement of the equipment. Ronnie deployed and configured the equipment at my home. He definitely knows his stuff and then some. I had a great experience with Good Faith Energy.

Good Faith Energy: A Home Alternate Energy System Provider

Good Faith Energy is a unique, customer-focused, solar panel and home battery installer that provides a complete turnkey PV grid-tied (and/or off-grid) home alternate energy system; at a great price. After interviewing numerous solar, battery, and renewal energy companies, I chose Good Faith Energy (GFE) to design a solar-battery system that would power my small second home in Texas (1,250 square feet under-air). I have experience with such systems since my primary (much larger, completely electrical home, with heated pool and jacuzzi in Florida) is powered by both an array of 19.6 kW LG solar panels and three 10-T Enphase batteries (each 10.1 kWh). The Florida solar/battery system produces sufficient energy 24 hours per day, such that excess power is generated and “sold” back to the grid year-round. Nevertheless, it is a complete home backup system that also provided 100% continuous energy following 94 hours of grid outage after Category 5 Hurricane Ian struck the house in 2022. For the Texas home, GFE designed a comparable system* (albeit much smaller) utilizing 23 REC 420 AA Pure 2 solar panels as shown in Figure 1 that generate 9.66 kW of power and are estimated to allow 13.63 MWh of annual energy usage. They also garage mounted a 11.5 kW continuous Tesla Powerwall 3 battery* (Figure 2) alongside my Charge Point Type 2 EV Charger. After several telephone conversational interviews, Director of Sales Mr. Sammy Abdalla, came to my home and discussed in detail how GFE would size a system for optimum performance and minimal costs. He did this all while answering my exhaustive questions about LG verses REC solar panels, Enphase verses Tesla batteries, and individual IQ-8+ verses string inverters. GFE sells all kinds of panels and is a certified Enphase and Tesla (among other) battery supplier/installer; therefore, Sammy had no need to pressure-sell what he had, he was simply price-sizing what I wanted. Although I was well aware of the tax advantages of installing alternate energy systems; Sammy updated me on recent federal & state regulatory changes that will provide me additional economic benefits. I selected GFE because they’re a credible company with well-educated, highly experienced, very knowledgeable, certified professionals that are trustworthy and conscientious. As with many customers, upon agreeing to the terms, I wanted my system immediately; nevertheless, Sammy and Permitting and Operations manager Samantha Strickland were upfront, honest and straightforward.** Even though I was well aware of the regulatory and compliance process in Florida, these GFE masters explained the nuances of Texas and the undeniable fact that Dallas was experiencing a heat-wave (temperatures above 100 degrees F) that would make roof and attic installation delays inevitable. These facts were known before I signed the contract and GFE specialists updated me throughout the construction process. Also, company employees are detailed in procedure and meticulous in execution. All aspects are integrated, such that the method is smooth from start to finish. Specialists like Lead Engineer Joe San Juan and Field Applications Engineer Frans Sanchez ensured that unwanted issues did not arise at any stage. In fact, the on-sight quality assurance manager reminded me that he needed to “attached the garage based battery sensor system to a separate house-bound smoke detector.” This nuance caught me off-guard; however, Cris Lisenby’s attention to a seemingly insignificant detail, in such a complex process, was attended to methodically. There would be no future problems! But the support does not end once the installation is complete. Frans Sanchez (a guru of grid autonomous and solar integrated systems) will come to your home and spend hours (if desired) explaining all aspects of your new system. He is the type of individual that will give you just the facts, the cliff-notes of your system, or explain it down to the details of solar incident angles verses planetary precession speeds at various times of the year. Furthermore, Frans will elucidate the distinction between a Residential Energy Supplier (RES) and a Transmission Distribution Utility (TDU) and how it will affect your specific costs. In SW Florida there is no distinction; there is only FPL. Once I understood Texas’ differentials, Frans pointed me in the direction of a RES that allows me to maximize the efficiency of my solar/battery grid-tied system and nearly zero-out operating costs. But few tasks ever proceed without an issue. Even the beauty of a roses is hindered by thorns. I would be amiss if I did not mention the “hiccups” that arose in my project. There were only three and all were very minor; however, when you are the customer spending tens of thousands of dollars; a fly in the ointment is never minuscule. No matter what the issue, the founder and CEO, Mr. Mohammed Abdalla, was but a telephone call away. I was welcomed by this C-Level manager early in the process and when he heard I was upset about an issue; he immediately telephoned (and followed up with text messages) to set the issue correct. Hindsight (and facts) show that I was in error; but Mr. Abdalla did not care. He made no attempt to point out my mistake, nor did he even mention it. He simply made the adjustments I requested, swallowed the costs, and apologized profusely. This behavior is abnormal in the corporate world; but it is the very definition of the words Good Faith. In conclusion, I highly recommend Good Faith Energy as a provider and installer of your solar-battery integrated home system. They are knowledgeable in the nuances of the sector and will provide you great value for your money. The alternate energy process, while complicated, is made simple for the customers of GFE. From sales to the CEO, every member of the Good Faith Energy team will help you navigate all the details as they provide you after service support and care. GFE does not pressure-sell you a product they have; they offer you what you want. Don’t think about this one too hard – Good Faith Energy is great! The Right Way To Do Solar!!!

I had other solar contractors install panels on my roof and my experience with them was awful!! After my bad experience with other solar installers, I wanted to find a truly reputable company to install a Powerwall with my solar. I found Good Faith Energy to be highly professional and reputable contractor that truly cares about how they implement solar technology. Frans Sanchez from Good Faith Energy, assisted me with choosing the best solar buyback plan with my system. No other solar company does that or offers the quality of service that I received from Frans and GFE. Good Faith Energy is the only solar company Texans should go with for all their solar+battery backup needs!!!

Great Experience

Have used GFE for multiple EV charger installs and now I’ve used them for a full solar, powerwall and span panel install. Very happy with the entire process. Had pto before they even started installing. Install took less time than they quoted. After install they helped me resolve issues with Tesla and got me into the Tesla electric plan. They came out and made sure everything was understood by me as well. Would happily recommend them to anyone looking for solar!

Best company for solar installs

I contacted GFE as they came out as a certified installer of PowerWalls. They were the first company that I contacted and the last out of 12 that I contacted. I did my research and found they were the best. I am now 3 years removed from the install and still speak nothing but high praises of GFE and encourage all to contact them. Even if a person doesn’t go with GFE, they will walk away with a host of new information from them. I encourage all to talk with them. I find that people that have a negative solar experience is because they went with a company that contracted out the labor and didn’t receive all the information. I got a clear and concise plan. A company that installed my system and showed me all aspects of it. And then informed me of who to contact for any warranty problems…them.

Nightmare solar install by 1SolarSolution to awesome ending

I had 1SolarSolution damage my roof after replacement and they did a shoddy solar install and then abandon me. 2 YEARS later after I won legally Good Faith stepped up to fix my solar install and help me with a battery backup solution and getting my botched solar install permitted by Frisco. Can't recommend these guys enough. It's the only solar company I would recommend.

Solar panel install

I got solar panels installed by Good Faith Energy. Their pricing was very good and the whole process was very easy. Once I signed the contract they took care of everything. They even filled out and submitted my HOA application. Theirpost-install service has been great. They setup a meeting to go over the app and make sure I understood it, and when we discovered a software bug that was causing some incorrect reporting, they handled it with the software provider and called me back to let me know it was fixed. It was a good experience all around.

I installed 16.5 KWH system with 43 panels plus a Franklin battery backup and upgraded Snap electric panel. Good Faith did a great job. I signed contract on March 14, 2023. They installed system within 4 days during the week of April 17. I researched solar companies for over 6 months and Good Faith was the only company that actually did a on-site inspection before I signed the purchase contract. They were also the only company that did no out -source the installation to 3rd party contractors. The system is up and running perfectly. The company also provided great follow-up to keep me informed of status throughout the process. They also always answered the phone when I called and returned my emails.

Excellent Customer Service and Integrity

I rarely write reviews. Kinda feel if something is good there is no need, but when something is bad it's good to warn folks. Well for me, I'm breaking the cycle and writing an EXCELLENT review. In the fall of 2020 I was searching for companies to install solar panels and powerwall. I met with 3 companies and ultimately decided on Good Faith. Their price was very competitive with the other companies, installed top quality panels and THEY HAD TESLA POWERWALL inventory. At the time I was looking the powerwall was in high demand and only Good Faith had inventory. Fast forward to the Dallas deep freeze in February my panels and powerwall were already installed and I didn't suffer the fate of many in north Dallas without power. I was happy! Well it doesn't end here. I had a few warranty issues and this is where the integrity of a company will either shine or fail. Well Good Faith will receive kudos. Sometimes you deal with companies that disappear once they collect you money. Not Good Faith Energy. They were prompt, attentive and responsive. I AM SHOCKED. I was expected bad service, but it's been nothing but stellar. I'm so happy with the installation and post-install service that I will stand out and shout out that there is no need to use any other company. I will be posting this same review on all the sites for as much visibility as possible. I had referred Good Faith to a co-worker and he's so happy with his powerwall and panels that he's completely off the grid.

I ended selecting them for the job because I wanted to make sure I got the best quality system for my investment. I had them install solar panels along with a battery backup. From beginning to end, the project went smoothly. At anytime if I had questions, they reached out to me to answer them. I was pleased with the quality of the solar system and the work of Good Faith Energy.

Awesome Company!

My experience thus far with GFE has been great. Stephen has been there to answer each and every question (I have a lot of questions!) for me to his best ability and if he doesn’t have an answer right away, he will get a hold of the right contact to work with. We almost pulled the trigger with another company but I am sure glad I found GFE to get a bid from them and they’ve made the decision to proceed with going solar much simpler. Be sure and do yourself a favor and at the very least let them give you a bid and present their options! Can’t wait to get our system all installed with the GFE team! Their company has a great story behind it as well and they seem to be the most modern/up to date with the latest tech offerings to combine with solar too!

Excellent in all aspects

I had GFE install a solar panel system with Tesla PowerWall backup and couldn’t have chosen a better company. Through the entire process, GFE was the most up front company out there. Most were unaware that a solar system would have no affect on keeping power on during a power outage unless a battery backup was installed. The crew that was installed was absolutely professional and made sure to answer any questions that I had. They also made sure everything was cleaned up before leaving. I can not praise all of the people at GFE enough and will tell everyone about them and my wonderful experience.

These guys are really amazing. Right from the start of the Project you will see honesty and commitment. They go by what they say. You don't need to follow up on anything. They are very pro-active in getting the project work done. They took care of HOA/City/Utiiity approvals ,scheduling of City inspection. They take care of each and every step of the process. You jut sit and Relax. They are very punctual and roofers are really hard working. They worked all day for 2 days in this summer heat. Really appreciate their dedication. The Clear Choice to Install Your Tesla Solar Roof

Good Faith Energy install a 15KW Tesla Solar Roof & Tesla Powerwall system at my home in Central Texas just outside Austin. They were able to show a lot more flexibility and responsiveness than Tesla and get the job done before the end of the year so I could get my 2020 tax credit. No home improvement project goes flawlessly, but Good Faith Energy responded to our needs in a timely manner and made sure we were completely satisfied. We've had a lot of bad contractor experiences during our remodel this year, but I'm happy to say this wasn't one of them! Thank you to Mo, Jim, Reser, Shane, Samantha, and the rest of the GFE team for you personal touch and attention to detail!

We had our solar system installed by Good Faith Energy several years ago. They did a great job -- communication and service was top notch. Terrific customer care throughout by GFE employees. Recently they uninstalled, cleaned, and reinstalled our panels in connection with a new roof. Another excellent experience with this company. Highly recommended.

One of the best experiences

I can't say THANK YOU enough to Mo Abdalla and his team over at Good Faith Energy!!! The guys rocked the 15kW install with a Founders Series Powerwall 2 in only a day and a half!!! They were professional, courteous, keep us informed during the install, and didn't get even a little annoyed no matter how many questions I asked. Mo was also very hands on and that was very much appreciated. When you work with people that have done so many solar systems and that still genuinely get excited along with you when the system gets turned on, that is a special thing. If you are even considering going solar DO NOT do anything without giving Mo a call. They need to be your #1 choice!!!
