Incredible and Full of Integrity

I have a unique perspective because I work on the brand for the company *and* I also went solar with them. Not only did they do an amazing job on the install (very quick, well placed, very thoughtful), they also are have a lot of internal integrity as well. Goldin Solar and the CEO Daren is very aligned with earth-forward values and is doing solar from a place of passion and planet sustainability. This means a lot to me, as many solar companies are doing it purely from a business perspective. I highly recommend them to anyone who appreciates a company who is doing good work for the right reasons.

A rated solar system installed by Goldin Solar

During 2020 I researched a dozen solar system installers/systems. Narrowed it down to two and in mid October 2020 I hired Goldin Solar. Jeff presented the system in laymen’s terms and I actually understood what he was saying. He took his time and explained the process in detail. The installation occurred in Mid-January and was completed in a matter of days. Now I’m up and running and loving the Company and my system! A-rated TOP NOTCH respected company!

Incredibly Professional and Nice Team

I met with many other solar companies before talking to Michael from Goldin Solar. One of the things I liked the most was how honest and upfront he was about how the cost and the size of the system I would need for a house my size. My project Coordinator Solene was also incredibly nice and professional and was always there to answer any question I needed throughout the whole process. The quality of their installation I also very very good, the entire process took no more than a few days and their workers even worked through the rain just to get the job done. All and all I'm pretty happy to have gone solar with Goldin Solar!

Nice design, Well Constructed, Working Great!

They listened to my needs and desires for the system. They quickly offered a couple of proposals. They made adjustments to their final proposal. And they gave me a fair price. I am a happy customer!

Goldin Solar and there team where great!

I had been on the fence for a few years. Goldin solar was recommended to me by a good friend and they were very helpful with making the final decesion to move forward with solar. Scheduling and comunication was always clear. The team worked very hard, even threw rain storms. Amazing crew!

The Best of the Best

The customer service and attention to detail of Goldin Solar is nothing less than remarkable. All their employees show up early for appointments and when working on our property even tell us when they are leaving for lunch and when they will return!. They make sure every aspect is addressed to our satisfaction even when this means considerable extra effort on their part. They routed cabling beneath our house as our electrician suggested which another solar company said was not possible. They cleaned up to my wife’s satisfaction (something I myself have never been able to accomplish). They provided mobile numbers at which we could reach service or our project manager 24:7 and if we do have to leave a message, our calls are promptly returned. To be blunt, we and our friends have had very different experiences with other solar power installation companies. Goldin is the only one who simply does it right, however much it costs in additional labor. Their goal is not simply to make a sale but to have customers who are 100% satisfied. We would not work with anyone else in South Florida. Worth every penny.

Good Decision

We decided on Goldin Solar after researching numerous solar energy contractors and interviewing a number of residential customers with photovoltaic solar systems. In the final analysis, Goldin Solar was the overall best choice. Although not the cheapest, they were the first to be more interested in our making an informed purchase decision rather than expeditiously closing a sales transaction. Everyone we dealt with, especially Justin J and Dalton R, were extremely competent, professional, and accommodating. We are very pleased with our system and resulting offset in our Duke Energy bill. We would highly recommend Goldin Solar to anyone looking to purchase a quality solar system.

Excellent All Around!

Goldin Solar was awesome through the whole experience. They were professional, friendly, honest, knowledgeable and informative the entire way through. Their sales rep explained the entire process and what to expect in detail from the very first phone call. He helped me get set up, walked me through my responsibility of the steps and told me who was going to take over the installation process once he handed it off to others on his team. Solene, my project coordinator was super friendly, caring and kept me informed of what to expect. She made sure we were happy and taken care of all along the way. Goldin never oversold me, immediately drew me in as an active member of the process, managed my expectations and provided excellent customer service. We're extremely happy we shopped around and went with them. Our panels look great and we're so thrilled about the energy switch we've made. If you're in Fl and looking to go solar, look no further and go with Goldin. You won't be disappointed!

Overall a good experience

We chose Goldin Solar as they seemed to have the most technical know how. Their prices were competitive and they were quick to answer any questions that came up. There were a few hiccups here and there, but they were quick to correct. The installers and everyone who came to the home were there on time, if not early and were all very friendly. Overall I had a good experience and would recommend to anyone looking at getting panels.

Took the fear out of solar

We interviewed four different Solar Companies and chose Goldin Solar because we felt they presented the best fit for our home but also took the time to answer the questions we had in detail. The instal was longer than expected but with the size of our instal and the grade of our roof we were fine with the team making sure they were always safe. So far we have been happy with the results and the app has become almost a hourly habit because we want to see how much we are saving! I would recommend Goldin Solar to anyone who ask!

Good job, great service

Goldin did a good job of installing the system, keeping us up to date with progress and made sure we were happy until the job was signed off.

Great follow through on our project

After 2 years of researching solar companies in south FL we chose Goldin. Mostly due to Liz L. who answered our many questions in several in person meetings. Once we found out that Power Walls were available so that we could have power during FPL outages we decided to go ahead. Though we had a few bumps along the way once we were underway but Dalton and Liz fielded all our inquiries in a timely and helpful way. We haven't yet received our first FPL bill since our system is up and running but so far are very happy with the amount of solar power we are generating on an almost daily basis. So nice to see everything being powered by the sun on those great sunny FL days! Thanks to everyone, Liz, Dalton, and all the installation and tech crew who contributed to our project!!

Goldin solar has done what the competitors don’t. They explain and show how the system works and how the installation gets done. I had a few companies come and give estimates but nothing compares to Goldin...

Great job and great team!

Goldin did a great job meeting my expectations with the install of my system. Justin started my initial review and bid process and he was able to take care of each of my questions leading up to signing. From there Solene was an excellent communicator through the entire process from initiation all the way to close-out. I appreciate the efforts of the install team who were able to complete their work in 2 days! We had a few delays on the electrical with the final connections but they were communicated and taken care of. Ultimately, Goldin Solar beat out 4 local competitors and 1 non-local competitor. Great job team - I appreciate each of you!

Goldin Solar is the company to go with!

We chose Goldin because our Representative Roberto Bueno took the time to educate us about going solar. He was very knowledgeable and patient with us. We also agree it is better for our environment and a better way of life for our grandkids and great grandkids in the future. The professionalism showed by our project manager Madelin Rojas who was with us till the end and answer many questions as well as the crew at the work site was an amazing experience. We are up and running and we are very happy.

Goldin is Golden!

I had always thought of going solar energy to reduce my carbon footprint. Having lived most of my life in Ohio I knew it was not cost advantageous. Since I moved to Florida 1-1/2 years ago I have researched solar once again. I interviewed 5 solar companies. My Goldin Solar representative was by far the most knowledgeable about every aspect of solar energy and how Goldin goes about their business. Everything he told me was exact to the most miniscule degree. The pricing although not the cheapest they were extremely competitive. The overall package of their system being the most updated of all and the quality of their panels helped me get over the small price difference immediately. I wanted a solar system that would last and my rep showed me the features and benefits of Goldin's system that far outweighed the competition. After the contract was signed the engineers came and mirrored everything my rep told me. The installers were very professional, knowledgeable, courteous, and friendly. My wife and I felt very comfortable having them around our home and working on it. My account representative kept me informed more than I could ask for and she also was knowledgeable, professional and friendly. This was a major investment for us and we took almost a year to make the decision. As it turns out, it was the best decision for my family and my budget I could have ever made. Solar in Oakland Park

Goldin Solar came through on everything they said they would do. Unfortunately, COVID-19 happened which slowed things down for everybody. Add in the fact that Oakland Park permitting department is probably the worst when it comes to timeliness and this became a long process. I am happy to say that the system is up and running, we have had a few rains, no leaks, and I have no complaints. This is my first time going solar, so I am constantly watching the app to see how much I make and use. I would recommend Goldin Solar. They are a larger company, so once the project begins, you are assigned a "project manager." I am all about communication, I expect immediate responses during business hours, which may be a little unrealistic. I never went more than several hours without hearing from someone at the company. Since this system is so new and this review is so new, I cannot comment on the longevity of the system or any warranty/maintenance issues.

Awesome company

Goldin Solar installed my solar panels about two years ago. This is an awesome company! I’ve been working with Michelle and she’s very professional, she has a quick response time, and is great with communication. Even two years later they are very attentive and answer all my questions and concerns. I still remember when they finished installing the solar panels and they were turned on. I didn’t have an FPL bill at all for a few months. It’s very impressive. As a homeowner it’s such an exciting feeling to know you’ve made a good investment.

A great company

I signed a contract with Golden solar in mid February , The permitting got started pretty much right away . By the end of March all approval for permits works were completed . Because of the county shutting down for the COVID-19 goldin solar could not start the work . As soon as the county opened up again at the end of April beginning of May the company got to work just about right away . by mid June the project came to its conclusion . During this exceptional time goldin solar kept me informed on the timeline . I did appreciate the professional crew , especially Madelin who was in charge of the coordination . I would recommend this company to anybody interested in going green .

Professional and ethical

After extensive research and proposals by many other companies I decided to go with Goldin Solar. Other companies were trying their best to wheel me in with unethical gimmicks to get my business. Goldin did none of that. Their proposal was ethical and professional. The process went well considering the delays by my city's permit department and the covid-19 pandemic. After my system was commissioned it is performing better than my expectations. I will definitely recommend them to anyone who is interested in solar and battery storage. Thanks Goldin!

Excellent Solar Installation Experience!

Goldin was one of four companies that I met with and provided a proposal to install solar panels at our house. The four companies ranged from larger, national companies to smaller, local companies. Ultimately, I liked that Goldin was headquartered in Florida and had a very good reputation, so they were awarded the project. Shortly after working through the contract, Misty was introduced as the project coordinator. She did an excellent job shepherding the project through the municipal permitting process and keeping me apprised of current progress. When permits were approved, we set an installation date. The install team started on a Wednesday, and was able to complete installation of the 34-panel system by end of day Thursday. By the following Thursday, all paperwork was complete, Duke Energy had changed out the meter and the system was operational! Overall, the Goldin team was great to work with on the installation of the system!

Excellect company to work with

We decided to research and go solar before the end of 2019. We selected 4 companies to interview in order to learn more about solar and obtain cost estimates. All the companies were professional. We picked Goldin because they are Florida based, their panels are attached using Miami Dade County Building Code and because of Justin their salesman. Justin was very knowledgeable and honest. If we had more questions we could call or text and he would get back to us quickly with the answer. We started interviewing companies in November and decided on Goldin in December. Our roof was over 15 years old so Goldin put us with JAEdwards of America as a subcontractor for the roof, so the whole project would be under one bill. All the permits were pulled by Goldin and JAEdwards. The roof was installed and right after it passed inspection they started on the Solar Panels and Tesla Powerwalls. Misty(our project coordinator) kept us informed on all changes and when the install crew would start. She did a great job throughout the entire project. It took Dalton, Jose and the rest of the installation crew 4 days to put up the 55 Hanwah 340W black solar panels and the 4 Tesla Powerwalls. What a great crew.. They arrived on time, answered any questions we had about the project and left the whole place clean and tidy when they were finished. Since our system has been up and running, we had a small power outage because a storm, and it immediately switched to the Tesla powerwalls. We highly recommend Goldin Solar for your solar needs!

Goldin Solar is the right choice

Goldin solar is a great company that I would recommend to anyone that is planning to generate there own clean energy. They have friendly staff and salesperson that is always available to provide the latest updates and information regarding the status of your project. Unlike my neighbor who waited about 18 months for his project to be installed and completed, I didn't have that experience with Goldin Solar. They got my project done a lot faster because they are very informative, efficient and effective. I was a bit naive about the operation and function of the system, after collecting data on a daily basis on the amount of Kwh the grill delivered and received. After reaching out to Daren the owner, he gave me a thorough, clear and crisp explanation they was aligned to the data that I collected. Base on his clarification, I have a better understanding how to monitor my energy usage throughout all four seasons of the year to keep my bill under $10 a month. You can't go wrong with Goldin Solar, because they are friendly, reliable, trustworthy, efficient and effective.
