Easy process to make your own energy!

We initially heard of Everlight from door-to-door sales folks (which we usually turn away as soon as possible), but we had interest in solar so we met with them. They promised an easy process and went through the details with us. They were very good at educated us on all the tax credits and rebates available to us with a solar system to give a good idea of the whole financial picture. They were generally able to answer all our questions (which I had many!) and we verified that they had good reviews and the price was reasonable and decided to go for it. The customer service along the way is very responsive. The install date was a bit later that we expected, but it seems that everything has been delayed in 2021 and it wasn't unreasonable. Install day was minimally intrusive (power was only out for about 20 minutes) and everyone we interacted with was nice and respectful. Overall, it was a good experience and we are happy to now have a solar system installed that offsets essentially all our consumption over the year for a monthly cost that is comparable to what our electricity costs would have been anyway and added value to our house! I'd recommend anyone to do a consult with them to see if solar makes sense for your home!

Great installation crew, everything else leaves room to be deair

The original sales guy was extremely pushy and a bit brash. Once locked in, it took forever to get to a point where they actually scheduled the installation. The installers showed up right on time and we're pretty much done in <2hrs. They were extremely friendly and courteous. Thanks Sam and Cody (Brody?).

A bit of a wait but a Fast install and a professional crew!

Overall I'm quite happy. My only complaints are the length of time before we finally got it installed and the limited communication. A couple more updates along the way would have made us so much less antsy. Steve and his crew of installers were great though. Right on time and very open to keeping me informed as they did each step. They had everything installed in no time.

The team of installers were great.

Everything went well except the time it took to get started we were told June, then July, and finally after stating our frustrations we were given August 5th. The installation was fast, professional, clean, and explained everything they were doing.

Great Experience

We've never had solar panels before but wanted to lower our bills while consuming less energy from power plants. The whole process from start to finish was a breeze. Everlight Solar made the whole process easy to understand and everyone we worked with was extremely nice. I would recommend them to anyone looking to get solar power.

Everlight made solar easy

I've been solar-curious for a number of years. I don't normally enjoy door-to-door sales pitches but I'm really glad Everlight came through my neighborhood. The pitch was compelling: beyond the strong desire to have green energy, the cost for solar is effectively equal to what I'm paying for fossil fuel energy and those prices are locked in as energy grid prices increase. Good for the environment and good for my budget (no up-front cash payment required, they just assume you'll put your tax credit towards the loan). The consult zoom call was very informative and gave me confidence to proceed. They shepherded us through every step of the process and made everything easy - applications, financing, scheduling, inspections. There were a lot of moving pieces but Everlight took an active role to lead the entire way. Installers showed up on time and finished installing our 31 panels in about 4.5 hours.The crew was great. I love that every single person I worked with along the way is an Everlight employee. It gave me confidence that they are actually accountable during the entire process. Green energy is exciting and Everlight made it easy for us to take the leap. I would definitely recommend.

The crew was friendly and professional and the installation process was done well.

Good but expensive

The product, workmanship, and process are all very good (except that the time between signing the contract and starting installation was very long). We’re producing power in excess of our consumption: cool! I was out of town during installation but it went smoothly and quickly. I like that the majority of the electrical conduit runs inside the attics. However, their price was MUCH higher than anyone else. I take some of the blame for signing a contract without any reference pricing, but they also offered me a product/solution at what I would consider to be a huge premium. So, it works well, the company was nice to work with, but I’m not sure it is worth 48%-58% more/W than the alternative quotes I eventually obtained. Can’t say I would recommend them to anyone I care about.

Everlight install

Went very smoothly with minimal involvement and hassle on my part. Everyone was very accommodating when they had to work around my wife's "work at home" schedule regarding shutting off the power. Very satisfied. Wish they could just hit the "on" switch, but now there several inspections to go thru. Probably a good thing.

Professional Work

We chose Everlight Solar because our representative Ruth was so very knowledgeable about the product and how it worked. She was there for us through the whole process, even showed up on installation day to make sure everything went smoothly. The crew was great, they were friendly and professional. They came in, put up the panels, they needed access to the attic and fuse box in the house. They worked quickly and efficiently, and the bonus was that they cleaned up in the house and outside not leaving a trace of their being there besides the panels. We are excited to get things working and start doing our part in helping our earth.
