Great company to work with

Energy Consultants Group were great to work with, gave us detailed information throughout the project and after, always willing to answer questions and show how everything would work. Highly recommend going solar and having these guys install.

Large Commercial Installation

Large, complicated project in which Jason and his team executed with excellence. Project commenced with down payment in late June or early July and turned up in late October. Electric Company and the City Building Department approval delays slowed the project down. ECG worked hard keep things moving while juggling other projects.

Awesome Company

Energy Consultants Group installed a solar PV plant on our newly built building for our cleaning company. The solar powers everything inside the building including the floor radiant heat system! Our operating cost will be virtually nothing. We will also get to us the tax credits to help out with the cost of building the new structure. Owner of PPS of Anamosa.

Very professional and knowledgeable. Would recommend to anyone. Very smooth process! An added bonus is the app that you can download for free and you can see your entire system, what it's producing, if anything is wrong, and what your averages are for production!

Governmental Installation

Being a governmental agency made this a very complicated project from the bidding to financing and ultimately a challenging ground location for the installation. Jason kept us informed throughout the entire process, attended one of our council meetings to provide information and answer member questions, assisted us with the provision of information needed for grant applications, and completed the installation with minimal delay despite our challenging ground and location for the array. We are happy to now be generating electricity and would highly recommend Energy Consultants Group to anyone interested in pursuing solar.

Solar Installation

Jason and his team from Energy Consultants Group, LLC did a wonderful job with our solar install. The process was extremely easy on our end as Jason took care of everything. He is extremely knowledge about solar power and made us feel comfortable with this decision and our choice to go with his company. So far we have been very happy with the entire process and highly recommend them! ~Joel and Natalee H.

7.28kw residential system

We are very satisfied with our solar system. We have 28 panels on our roof and in a month we have banked almost 600 kWh already . Jason's gave us just what we hoped in a solar system.

Residential solar

Jason and his team were very helpful, answered all my questions and streamlined my installation handling all the paperwork required for my install with the city. I'm happy with my installation and would recommend this company to anybody looking for a solar install.

19kw Solar Install

The install was fast and efficient. The panels are working great, have an 800kwh credit already.

ECG did an excellent 10.4kw ACPV installation for my family!

I couldn't be happier with my overall experience with Jason at ECG. Beginning in April 2016, I thoroughly researched every option with all solar contractors serving the Quad Cities area where I live, and ECG came in with a very fair price per watt installed. Furthermore, Jason spent hours on the phone with me answering every question I had regarding the details (e.g., AC vs DC PV technology and their costs/benefits, roof vs ground mount, return on investment, etc.). Jason is a Subject Matter Expert on solar; he lives and breathes what he knows and does for his profession, and the results are self-evident with my new 40-panel, 10.4kw ground mount arrays (two) that were installed and online by the end of May 2016. I highly recommend you consider a solar system (given 30% US tax credit plus 15% Iowa tax credit), as you'll be very pleased with the results! Bright future with solar, Bob Q. in Blue Grass, IA

Excellent Service

Jason Gideon and Energy Consultants Group were VERY professional and efficient. When we were first researching Solar Energy, Jason was very knowledgeable about the entire process and what exactly we would need. He and his team kept us informed about the process... what to expect... when to expect it, etc. He and his team were knowledgeable about the rebates we could expect and helped us with paperwork. He is very knowledgeable, easy to work with and does very high quality work. He also designed and built our 40X48 highly efficient storage/workshop building. review

Jason understands the whole picture of energy use. Good and practical installation. When one panel quit working, he was the one who noticed it and brought it to my attention and replaced it.

Wouldn't consider using anyone else !!

Jason Gideon knows more about solar integration than anyone I've ever met. As an architect, I have pretty high expectations for the consultants that I pick for my team. Jason's passion for sustainability and his knowledge of the solar industry are second to none. He designed and installed a 10kw solar array for our new home and his service exceeded our expectations. I wouldn't consider using anyone else for your solar energy needs.

buyer

I got along good with Jason. The product meet all my expectations.

Solar installation

Jason met with us and fully explained the options for our solar installation. He and his crew finished the project on time, and our system was up and running within two months of our first meeting.

Great Solar Experience

Added 3Kw to our existing 2.5 year old 6.5Kw solar system. We built and addition and added two more members to our family, so we needed more energy. They did a great job matching the existing system and integrating into the home. They handled all of the paperwork and incentives, very easy to work with and provided the best value and best warranty of any other installer in Eastern Iowa.

Professional and efficient 3Kw residential

Jason Gideon and his team exemplified professionalism. Jason answered all our questions in as much depth as we wanted and in a careful, knowledgeable manner. This company takes pride in it's work and we are proud of our new solar display. I would not hesitate to recommend Energy Consultants Group to anyone.

Superior Service and Support

Superior Service and Support from beginning to end of process. In over 30 years I have had many workmen on my 11 acres and in all of that time I have recommended only two. Jason Gideon and his company is one of those. His professionalism is clearly reflected in his depth of knowledge and passion for what he does, as well as co ordination of all aspects of the process. He takes considerable care and pride in his work and rightfully so since the state electrical inspector told me that mine was the best solar set-up that he has seen.
