Another Successful Project

Signed contract in early February, permission to operate in late April. City and Electric Company held things up or it would have gone quicker. Job well done. System is on track to wipe out my electric bill this year. The only issue is that the 315W Panels are limited by 250W micro-inverters. So on a bright sunny day, with a panel output capacity of 11.7KW DC, the system limits out at about 9.8KW DC (~9.3KW AC). This only happens for a few hours on bright sunny days, so it does not have a great impact on overall system performance. In future projects, I would consider a little higher micro-inverter capacity.

Efficient and Professional

Jason went above and beyond to work through multiple, unexpected permitting issues in our city. He kept the installation on track, and once all the permits were in place, was able to have everything installed in a matter of days. We are very pleased with how easy the process was, due to Jason's extensive knowledge and professionalism.

Once the all the parts arrived, Jason and his team had our solar array installed in a week. Now, we are enjoying free energy for years to come.

Great company to work with

Energy Consultants Group were great to work with, gave us detailed information throughout the project and after, always willing to answer questions and show how everything would work. Highly recommend going solar and having these guys install.

Large Commercial Installation

Large, complicated project in which Jason and his team executed with excellence. Project commenced with down payment in late June or early July and turned up in late October. Electric Company and the City Building Department approval delays slowed the project down. ECG worked hard keep things moving while juggling other projects.

Awesome Company

Energy Consultants Group installed a solar PV plant on our newly built building for our cleaning company. The solar powers everything inside the building including the floor radiant heat system! Our operating cost will be virtually nothing. We will also get to us the tax credits to help out with the cost of building the new structure. Owner of PPS of Anamosa.

Very professional and knowledgeable. Would recommend to anyone. Very smooth process! An added bonus is the app that you can download for free and you can see your entire system, what it's producing, if anything is wrong, and what your averages are for production!

Governmental Installation

Being a governmental agency made this a very complicated project from the bidding to financing and ultimately a challenging ground location for the installation. Jason kept us informed throughout the entire process, attended one of our council meetings to provide information and answer member questions, assisted us with the provision of information needed for grant applications, and completed the installation with minimal delay despite our challenging ground and location for the array. We are happy to now be generating electricity and would highly recommend Energy Consultants Group to anyone interested in pursuing solar.

19kw Solar Install

The install was fast and efficient. The panels are working great, have an 800kwh credit already.

ECG did an excellent 10.4kw ACPV installation for my family!

I couldn't be happier with my overall experience with Jason at ECG. Beginning in April 2016, I thoroughly researched every option with all solar contractors serving the Quad Cities area where I live, and ECG came in with a very fair price per watt installed. Furthermore, Jason spent hours on the phone with me answering every question I had regarding the details (e.g., AC vs DC PV technology and their costs/benefits, roof vs ground mount, return on investment, etc.). Jason is a Subject Matter Expert on solar; he lives and breathes what he knows and does for his profession, and the results are self-evident with my new 40-panel, 10.4kw ground mount arrays (two) that were installed and online by the end of May 2016. I highly recommend you consider a solar system (given 30% US tax credit plus 15% Iowa tax credit), as you'll be very pleased with the results! Bright future with solar, Bob Q. in Blue Grass, IA

review

Jason understands the whole picture of energy use. Good and practical installation. When one panel quit working, he was the one who noticed it and brought it to my attention and replaced it.
