​ I signed a contract on 5/30/2025, today is 9/16/25, and I still don't have an installation date. Before I signed a contract, Mike called me almost every day, and when I signed a contract and paid the deposit, they disappeared. I called this company a hundred times and left many voicemails, but I never got a call back to me. I wrote emails and still nothing back. They don't care.

Empire Solar Solutions just completed the installation of a pretty complex 65 panel system on my flat roof. The system is performing as described and saving me hundreds in the very first month. Firstly they made the process very easy starting with the very reasonable and most competitive terms from the very first proposal (Will was responsible for the sale); this saved me time and headach on going back and forth as their first proposal was the most competitive. Then it took them only one day to install and test the system! Throughout the process and after the installation (you usually dont get that) their team was available to address any questions on the day i called! (Paul was calling me back as if im his only customer while i know they are busy turning other systems daily!). A real unicorn in todays market..highly recommend

About a year ago I contacted Empire Solar to install solar panels, upgrade the existing electrical system and replace the old roof. I recently noticed dark spots in the attic. I became concerned about the moisture coming out from underneath the attic walls. I immediately called the office and spoke with Tal about this issue. Without any hesitation he said he would have a worker come to the house and fix whatever needed to be done. He called me later in the afternoon that someone would come sooner and then asked me to send him pictures of the roof and attic. He said that the contractor would install 3 vents, seal the skylights and spray a product in the attic to protect the wood frame. The contractor did an excellent job and right after the job was completed I got a courtesy call from Tal. It was the best experience I had ever had with any company.

When I asked them if they had experience in installing the Generac PC, representatives of this company stated that they were one of the few Solar companies approached by Generac to promote the PC system. After installation, they neither explained or reviewed the system with me. Furthermore, there are problems with the PV links and I can't read the Kilowatts coming in from Central Hudson. I have made numerous attempts to contact Empire Solar and they have been unresponsive and do not call back or follow up when I leave messages. Do not do business with this company. The service is horrible!!!

Although the install was less than spectacular and damages occurred to the property (as I previously stated), Adam (owner) did make it a point to come to my house on a Saturday and get a grasp of the situation himself. He was apologetic and agreed to remedy all issues. I have to say the communication between us has increased greatly. Unfortunately due to the issues we had I cannot give them a five star rating but i will increase my rating of them for the effort that was made to make sure all issues were resolved. It also helps that my solar system seems to be producing very well thus far.

Alex, Gina and the crew were fantastic. They were in contact with me through out the whole process. Very professional and friendly. I’m very satisfied with their service.

Alex was great. The installers were great.owners are horrible and deceptive. No per mit filed. I had to apply for it myself. I removed trees that empire told me too.electrical panel upgrade was incorrect size.inverter went bad the first week. I has to call myself to get new inverter. Told me that rebates also include second homes but clearly stats on tax form it does not include second homes.someone forged my signature on nyserda paperwork! Worst of all the system should produce 3,600 per year and only produced 2,400 in year 2019. Asked for them to add a few more panels to get to 3,600 numerous times but nothing. Worst of the worst.

From my initial phone call and visit with Will..I was impressed with Empire Solar Solutions. They explain the entire process to you and continually check to make sure everything is moving accordingly. Great Company and Great Service.

From the beginning with Mike Kusmann's initial visit and follow ups to the pricing to the speed the job started and when it was completed, the thoroughness to do everything we asked. Adam, Marc and Matt were also key in making sure everything was perfect. They are all fantastic and I am glad we went with them. Other companies cost more and gave less while these guys gave us superior panels and are also able to do the roof! We got everything in one stop and it made it so much easier from our side to keep up with. We already are seeing massive savings in our Con Ed bill and are loving keeping our money in our pockets...ha! I would tell anyone considering solar to move forward with it and go with Empire Solar, you'll sleep better knowing they have everything under control and you won't ever have to worry about a thing. My experience with the Empire Solar was outstanding. The salesman came to my house his name is Will and he did a very wonderful job and explained this produc, how system works. It was very different than other company and I recommend Empire Solar for all the consumer are looking for solar system. thank you

I purchased 25 solar roof panels from Empire Solar NY in March of 2018. It's now September (!!) and the process is not finalized. Yes, the panels are installed and presumably working...I haven't yet received my ConEd bill to notice a savings...but the last step of the process (trimming overhanging trees) was promised and still not delivered. Also, have had a great deal of trouble reaching this company, as their phones are always tied up, voicemail full, or nobody home. That said, the panels look good and appear to be generating electricity as promised. I do not regret this purchase and still believe it to be a wise investment. It's just that the follow-up service is frustrating.
