Cosmic Solar, Inc.

Professional, efficient, and best price

From first visit to project wrap up these guys were thoroughly professional and they were flexible and accommodating to my little requests. The work was performed efficiently and skillfully. Among several companies who offered packages, the guys from Cosmic had an informative but not pushy presentation. And ultimately had the best price. Twenty ground mounted solar panels.

Easily The Best

I researched solar solutions for a couple of months and met with 8 different solar companies. You could tell right away Cosmic set itself apart from the others. They didn't have pushy sales techniques and were much more focused on providing the right solution. They fully understood and explained the technology options well and their solution was the best value we found. The installation and application process was blazing fast. All hiccups were resolved immediately and they kept in contact with me for any questions rather than making assumptions. I highly recommend them.

Cosmic stands out from the rest!

We did our due diligence when we decided to get a solar system, requesting quotes from large companies, small companies, and in-between companies too. There were pros and cons to each, but we ultimately chose Cosmic for their reputation (turns out that quite a few of our neighbors had gone with them and had glowing things to say), competitiveness of their price, extremely quick turnaround, and the exceptional service they provide. We were in quite a rush to get a system put up ASAP, and not only were we able to get up and running in less than 1/3 of the time any other company could promise, but it was with no corners cut. With Cosmic's roofer, we were able to have our roof in tip-top shape and good to go for the next 40 years. Within just a few days after the roof work was completed, Cosmic's team came out and had the whole system up in just 2 days. They handled all the permits and the electrical adapter that we needed, and even spent half a day here to make sure they were present to meet the inspector from the city for the final inspection. A few days after that, we got the green light from SDG&E to turn everything on and we've been enjoying the benefits of solar ever since! The best-in-class warranties that Cosmic provides give us peace of mind that they'll be there if we ever need help, and they were very responsive to any questions we had along the way. There are a few things that they do differently to really stand out from the rest. First and foremost, they take a small deposit at the start but then require no payment at all until the entire system is up and running. Secondly, they work closely with their roofer so if you need any roof work done (you'll want to make sure it's in good condition before you put a solar system on it), you're not having to deal with finding a roofer on your own -- though if you want to, you certainly can. And lastly, the expertise and service is unparalleled: they hold all relevant licenses, do the work with in-house staff instead of subcontracting out, give you a clear picture of the entire process and what to expect... you get the idea. I can't say enough good things about Cosmic. They are the kind of family-run, high-quality small business that is getting harder and harder to find nowadays. I would recommend them without hesitation.

roof mount system

Cosmic Solar was fantastic to work with. The owner came to my home on a weekend to begin the process. He was very prepared and had a notebook that he left with me which gave all the information of my current usage and expected savings with the new system. It had options with different panels and inverters. He really knows his product and is very straight forward. That next week the system was designed and permitted. The following Monday his crew was here and by Tuesday afternoon my system was up and running. Wednesday the permit was signed off and the next day SDG&E signed off. This was the easiest install I've ever done and Cosmic was great, they always kept me in the loop and I could only give them the highest of recommendations

Great installation team of a solar system that works as expected

Very professional design by the founder of the company. Ver friendly, always smiling, competent team of installers.

Excellent Job - Cosmic Solar!

Cosmic Solar completed our project on time and with as little disruption to our lives as is possible with work of this kind. All of their personnel were friendly, clean and professional. If they said they would be here at a given time, they were. I would not hesitate to recommend Cosmic Solar.

Cosmic Solar are exceptional

We have nothing but positive feedback after going through the process of adding Solar to our home. Without exception we experienced excellence from every part of the team . From the explaining and designing our system size and placement to being proactive to keep ahead of what would be needed to add for SDG & E to be satisfied. They were able to bump up our installation and with in 5 days of insulation we were up and running. Their were no surprises and we are thrilled with how the system looks and more how it is working. A wonderful experience..

Cosmic Performance

From the initial presentation to completion, the performance was excellent.

The Best! I've used them twice now!

This is the second home I have had Cosmic Solar install a solar system on. I leased the first system (36 panels) and the process and installation was so easy I couldn't imagine it any simpler. Then I purchased a second system (44 panels) and that was even easier. Most of the process was done via email, and using the HERO program the financing was very simple. The second system was finished ahead of schedule and I can't imagine any other company doing it any better!

Home Solar System

Cosmic Solar was by far the most cost effective bid we received. It's a family owned business and you are treated that way. The owner took the time to explain EVERY single detail of multiple options, and believe me I asked a lot of questions. His installers have been with him for years and were extremely knowledgeable and professional. The job was done on time and exactly as bid. I am so happy with our system. I've recommended them to everyone who asks. Great company.

SOLAR ZEROS OUT ELECTRIC BILL

Cosmic Solar installed a 2.85 kW solar array (11 panels) on mission tile rooftop to augment an existing 3.9 kW ground mount solar array, which was installed by others in 2002. The company president, Bahram Shadzi, provided a superb presentation of his proposal to zero-out our electric bill, which included payback calculations. After acceptance, his installation staff followed with preconstruction visits to assure accuracy and counter unexpected delays. Mostly because of their attention to detail, the project was completed in one day with no need for call-backs. Cosmic is an outstanding solar company, which I have highly recommended to two friends that were also very satisfied with their solar installation.

OUTSTANDING SERVICE FROM START TO FINISH

To accommodate our work schedule Cosmic went to our home and then met with us at our office to present the proposal. It was such a peace of mind to know they took care of everything from City permits, dealing with our HOA to final inspections. Mary kept the lines of communication open at all times. Installation only took 2 days. Cosmic pays attention to detail. I was concerned about ugly pipes running down the wall of our home after seeing some of the homes around us with metal pipe running all over the place. Cosmic painted the pipe to match our home without us even discussing it. Once we had the green light from the City and fired up the Solar, Pey was out immediately to handle the finishing touches and make sure the system was operating properly. I would definitely recommend Cosmic.

Definitely Recommend Them

CosmicSolar was recommended to me by my coworker. The office manager Mary kept us informed of the process and updated us on the necessary approval status. Pey Shadzi, who happens to be one of the owners and also operations manager was great. He came to our place on the day of installation and explained the details. He monitored the work during both the installation days. After inspection, he stopped by within 30 mins to turn on the system upon my request. The installation crew were very professional. The installation was completed 30 days prior to the actual installation date.

Awesome

Cosmic Solar is a small, family run company that does not make you feel like you're a number, yet with the professional and quality of a huge competitor. We were "shopping" for solar. Many of our friends went with them and so we met with them. The owner himself came to meet with us and explained everything at length and detailed. He was honest and not pushy at all. Not only did we want to support small business owners, they were also very competitive with their pricing, we made the decision to go with them. Pay, the owner's son was the project manager, he was very approachable and kind. The team was efficient, professional, and punctual. The job site was cleaned up and looked better thatn when they started. They all did an amazing job, and we are very happy!! Thank you Cosmic Solar!!

Outstanding and World Class Service

Great, Great,Great service. Always ready to make you feel important and give very best value. Of all my experiences with customer service this was without question the best service in my 57 year life. Entire team was always on time, clean throughout the project. Highly recommend you contact Cosmic Solar before you make a final decision.

Cosmic Solar Install

As my first experience with Solar, Cosmic was the right choice. Price, Timeline, and installation were as said. I will say, the install was actually sooner than originally planned. Price was by far the best out of 4 other Solar companies including the big one!

Fantastic Solar Company!!

I already know several people and businesses who have chosen Cosmic Solar as their choice for solar companies. With so many companies to choose from I felt very confident when I chose Cosmic after hearing how happy everyone was with their results from them. Their quote was clear and easy to understand, and the installation went very smoothly. Everyone was kind and courteous during the whole process. Thanks!!

review of Cosmic Solar

Great company, excellent work

AMAZING Service and Even Better Install

We recently purchased our home in Vista, CA and after our first couple electric bills, we knew we wanted to do Solar so when Summer rolls back around, we aren't sweating in our home but enjoying it. I work from home and my wife is a stay at home mother so comfort in our home is very important. I was referred to Cosmic Solar by my father who had solar installed on their home about 3 years ago and loved the experience. My experience was the same. From the Proposal to the finished product, the team at Cosmic was communicative and even pushed our installation up by 2 months. The installation took 3 days and the installers were even considerate with noise with my daughters nap time. They would plan their lunch and the not so noisy portions of the installation around her nap and couldn't have been more easy to work with. The inspection finished today and Cosmic was completely awesome from day one to finished product. I am not getting paid for this review but simply think a company that provides quality service with personal care, deserves recognition. Great work Cosmic, you will be our customer again if we ever decide to move again.

Very satisfying experience

Working with Cosmic Solar to install a solar panel system on our home was a pleasure and a satisfying experience. From the moment we contacted them by phone, Mary, at the front office, made sure that a sales rep would contact us soon. Within a couple of hours that day we heard from Jose, who made time on his schedule that same day to come to our home, do a site survey, and explain in detail everything about the system they could install for us, their warranty, and also about their responsiveness if any maintenance or repair issues were to come up after installation. We had already done our homework on other installers in the San Diego area, and Cosmic Solar quickly confirmed to us why they are so highly rated by their prior customers: they are super responsive and professional, thorough, very knowledgeable about the solar panel business, and very much treat their customers with the utmost respect. We had already obtained 6 other quotes, but Cosmic's proposal beat their competition in key areas such as: System cost per watt, number of panels to go on the roof, and total project cost; not to mention that they are local to the north county area and with more than 10 years in business. The terms of Cosmic's contract proposal were simple and straightforward, so we went ahead and decided to purchase a system to own, as opposed to leasing. Cosmic also provided us with referrals to reputable lenders for the financing. Despite how busy they were, they worked hard to schedule our installation as early as possible. Throughout the entire process they made us feel like we were their only customer, with their personalized and caring customer service. They took care of filing the project paperwork for successful approval with our HOA, and securing all the city permits. They also file all the other paperwork with SDG&E to get our account set up for net metering. They provided us with copies of the work plans and the package submitted to the HOA. We were pleasantly surprised, when nearly one month before the scheduled installation date, I received a call from Mary telling us that they could install our system that same week on a Saturday. This was great news that we would get our system installed early, but also allow me to be home during the installation, which they required. On the day of installation, Pey and the installation team showed up on-time. Pey did an outstanding job in explaining to us everything they would be doing, and how and where the system would be set up. They performed flawlessly, and in less than one day got everything installed and ready for inspection by the city. They cleaned up and left no trace of debris or anything in or around the house. The panels look great on our roof! We love the fact that we don't see a single conduit, cable, or anything anywhere on the outside of the house, as they channeled all the wiring directly from the roof and through the attic and into to the garage. The panels appear almost flush with the roof, and just look awesome; such a clean job! Pey and the installation crew were just the nicest people. No wonder Cosmic Solar gets such high marks in reviews. Three days later, we passed the city inspection with the flying colors, and two days later got the e-mail from SDG&E to activate our system. What a gratifying feeling it is to see now that during the day our electric meter shows negative numbers of our excess produced electric power going to the SDG&E grid. We can't say enough good things about Cosmic Solar. In all of our years dealing with contractors, they remind us of what good-old american customer service is all about. Their professionalism showed in everything they did, and we have nothing but praise for them. We wholeheartedly recommend them without any reservation. These are good people doing good work.

Solar Installed

I am very happy with my entire experience with Cosmic Solar. A friend recommended them to me and from my first interaction with Cosmic I had a great feeling about the company. The owner came out for the first appointment prepared with information and price. No high pressure or sales tactics. He left the information for review. I contacted Cosmic and started the process within a few weeks. I even got my solar a month early as a spot opened up on the installation schedule. Very professional company. Installation was quick. Cosmic left the job site clean. Solar was turned on in less than a week after installation. Now just waiting for savings.

Outstanding Experience!!

I was very impressed with the Customer Service from the initial meeting with Joseph the Estimator, to Mary at the office, to the guys that installed our panels, they where AMAZING, to Electrician and the rest of the staff, I can't say enough on how pleased we where with the service. The Finance company (PLCU) was great to work with and they where fast to close before any deadlines. We are so glad we shopped around and found your company. I will refer all of our family and friends too your company!! Thank you.

Katie Horvath

The very best company by far!!! Great from the estimation to completing the install. They came highly recommended by neighbors. Very responsive to any of our questions. We didn't have to do a thing...they filed all paperwork and assisted us with Ygrene financing. Everyone from the owner to the installers were a pleasure to work with and they finished ahead of schedule!!!

Solar installation

We had Cosmic Solar install our ground mounted system recently. The job was done on time and at the agreed to price, I would recommend them to anyone considering a solar system.

Review of Cosmic Solar, Inc.

The Sales Process, the Schedule, the Price, the Installation and the Professionalism of all employees was excellent. The only negative was that after installation a service person showed up to do something without telling us he was coming and we did not get any product information/warrenty for 2 weeks after installation. I would Highly recommend this Solar Company to anyone, in fact I would love to have a stack of Cosmic Solar business cards to pass out to friends and family.
