I'd hire them again
I'm really glad I went with Centauri for my system, which is 6.3 kW and 10kWh of storage The price was good (lower than some quotes that were speccing worse equipment!), and the quality of work was great. The folks that came out to do the work (Spencer, George, Chris, Zach, Andy, Graham) were all great. They worked really hard, were knowledgeable about how things worked, and worked with me on where to position some of the equipment. They took the time to explain what the various pieces of equipment did and how they interacted. They even correctly identified me as the sort of nerd who'd want the installation manuals, and they left those for me. The original estimate for how long the project would take was off by quite a bit, but they worked around my schedule, and from what I can tell they've made changes to prevent that in the future. If I do have problems with the system down the road, I'm glad that it'll be Centauri doing the warranty work. If they were to go out of business (and I sincerely hope they don't), their standard package includes third-party warranty insurance, so you won't be out of luck. After 7 months of operation, I'm still pleased with the system. I have no qualms recommending Centauri, and I've pointed friends to them. Whoever you go with, have them spec the system based on your usage, then spec a bit bigger to see how it changes cost and performance. If you do want to scale up, it's cheaper to do that up front. Even if you don't, you don't have wonder about "what ifs".

Fabulous install!
The Centauri staff and installers are top-notch. With MN weather, a less than helpful electrical utility company that had issues with their own stuff, the Centauri Project Management staff were a dream to work with. They were responsive and knowledgeable. On the day of the install, the crew was here and gone. Being mindful of the residence and cleaning up behind themselves.

Highly recommend Centauri Systems!
We were referred to Centauri Systems and couldn't be more pleased with our whole experience from start to finish. Everyone we interacted with was professional and great to work with - it's important to note that Centauri only uses their own in-house employees - which was a really important differentiator from other companies who outsource work to 3rd parties. The project management team of Madison and Tiffany kept us well-informed throughout. Zach the electrician did a great job with the battery install and electrical work plus their entire installation team was awesome. I would highly recommend Centauri Systems to anyone looking for a high-quality solar and battery system install.

Happy with my choice!
I talked to a few different installers, and I felt like Centauri was the best option. They did not disappoint! Great communication, industry knowledge, pricing and a product! I like that they are local and have been around for many years.

Great Installers, lousy power company
We installed an almost 14kw system last year. Centauri was great and did a nice job explaining things to us, installing it, laying out all the electrical work, cleaning up nicely. Xcel was a pain to deal with to get approvals and that was the biggest factor in the delay of our system installation.

Nothing but very well trained and competent company.
I was applying for solar last spring and thought I'd found a company to install my solar at my home in Wyoming Minnesota. I decided at the last minute I'd look one more time. I Googled solar one last time an found Centauri Systems LLC. It is a local company with office in the Twin Cities. The company I was going to have my install by was In another state. I read the reviews for Centauri Systems LLC and only found the highest quality of reviews. I've had first class service by Jason Gardner sales person. Jason took my application and contacted me from start to finish. He's contacted me several times after the solar was completed to ensure everything was going ok and working fine. I've had constant updates about the progress threw the application process from Madison the head project Manager. She insured all permits were submitted and approved from all levels to include Xcel. It was 100 hands free for myself, Centauri Systems LLC ensured everything was taken care of. I couldn't have asked for a better install team. They were here when they said they would be. Every person on the install team was very kind and polite. They had my solar installed within minimal amount of time. I Was shocked at how fast it was done. I'VE had zero problems with my system and Im overly pleased at how the complete process was handled by tbe complete team at Centauri Systems LLC . If your interested in solar this is hands down the company you should contact. Minnesota company that stands behind quality. Tim

Great experience for our solar project
Centauri did a fantastic job throughout the process of our solar project on our house. From the quote phase, communication from Project Management, and the installation which was done in winter weather, the team was organized and professional. We are really happy with the outcome!

Great Communication and Support
I can't say enough positive things about the Centauri team! They always responded quickly to requests and questions, installation was quick and easy, and the electrician taught me a lot about how it all worked. They also worked hard to advocate throughout the permit process when the city was slow in responding to our applications.

Very weird marketing
I scheduled a call with Centauri Systems to talk about getting solar installed in my home last week, but never received a link to join the meeting. 5 minutes after the meeting start time, I received a call from someone named Zach who asked why I hadn't logged in for the meeting. I explained that no one at his company had actually shared a link, and he did then finally share one. Zach seemed to be trying hard to market the company, and kept talking about wanting to get us on the same page. I was glad to take the call once I received the link, but a bit puzzled about what information Zach needed, as he was asking for information irrelevant to solar energy (like about my personal background/where I was from). I then explained that I was expecting someone to arrive so it would be great if we could just keep the focus on solar power. He then proposed that we reschedule for another time, and I said, no if he could just ask his questions about the property that would be helpful. He kept arguing that we should reschedule -- apparently he was offended by not having capacity to have a longer chat? I again asked if he could ask if his questions, and finally said that if he wasn't comfortable proceeding, that was okay. He then said that he felt that I wouldn't be a "good fit" for Centauri. The interaction was kind of comical, as it was just such abysmal marketing, but I thought I should post a warning for other consumers.
