Amazing service and fantastic product

American Sentry Solar is an amazing company. During the process of getting solar panels installed I never called and had to listen to an automated message, always a real person! Everyone was so helpful when I was going through the process, from making sure I got all of the tax return information to making sure I was satisfied and in the loop with the process of getting solar panels installed. The solar panels have already started saving me money on my electricity bill and the best part is that it increased my property value tremendously. I would never do the process of solar energy with any other company. A truly remarkable experience.

My Solar Experience

If there is a greater hold-your-hand experience out there in the Solar industry, I'd like to know about it because American Sentry Solar tops my list of A+ companies in the customer service category. From beginning to end, I was kept aware of the process at every turn and bend. They even filled out the State grant and SREC paperwork for me; all I had to do was sign and post it. The install went very smooth. Gailan in their Implementation and operations department is at the top of his game. I feel like an expert in the solar energy industry simply because I had Gailan on speed dial. Called him at home, on his cell, a few times - he always gets back and has an answer and an action for you. Had a problem where one plate did not light up. I called Gailan on his cell and he had a tech out on my roof the next day. Problem solved, loose connector. From hooking up the in-house equipment to logging into the on-line system to check the status of your power generation/solar system, this crew has it down to a science. Solar Panels for free

The installation went very well and they were out right away when only 12 panels came up and replaced the circuit breaker on the 2nd 12 panels, and its been working ever since. I did have the system installed in late November and have seen a reduced electric bill from BGE even thru the overcast and cloudy days. From what I see now I should see better returns on the coming spring and summer due to more sunny days. Everything I was told about the grant money and intensives to put in the solar system is true some just take a litter longer to get according to your state. When I look back I should have done it sooner but by waiting I have a better quality solar panel. The best part is I just have to call and they fix the problem under their warranty for 25 years. Great deal for looking ahead it will pay for itself.

I am very happy with American Century Solar they've been very courteous the entire trip I'm glad to hear that they are a Christian based company and their prices were excellent the installation was seamless from beginning to end I would highly recommend this company!!!!!!

Installation of Solar Panels

The installation of our solar panels plus electrical set up for them was done in a very professional manner. Craig who was the crew chief along with all the gentlemen who worked with him were all introduced when they arrived. They all worked efficiently...twenty panels were installed and they worked continuously from 9 AM until about 3PM until all the work both inside and outside was complete, All the employees were very courteous to both my husband and I. They cleaned up after they were done and left everything as they found it!! I would highly recommend them for solar installation and any other home repair or installation.

Better than expected

I looked at a couple of solar companies. I liked the knowledge and politeness of the salesman. I was impressed with the quick work putting it in the Tuesday after the weekend Snowzilla. They thought ahead and covered the roof with a tarp the Friday before so they could get to work quickly after the snow. All the team members were polite and considerate. I was impressed with the whole thing. Glad I made the decision to go with this company. Now I am waiting for the next electric bill to come!

They were an honest and reliable company that gave good explanations, installation and service. They also prepared the tax credit papers and scheduled all inspections. Installation was excellent.

Our Continuing Experience with Solay Energy

Our initial investigation started in 1972; however, we were not in one place long enough to warrant an installation nor had we found a vendor we wanted to work with. We eventually settled on using American Sentry Solar out of Bell Air Md. Initially because of reports from friends who had installed solar energy panels by them. We have not been disappointed in any way. The assistance has been beyond reproach, the installation flawless to date, and the equipment performance well above expectations. Our energy bill has been cut by over 75% for a 3,000+ SqFt dwelling. We installed in 2 stages, First a 3 panel hotwater system after the failure of our hotwater heater and second a 26 panel 5.5 KW electric system. Obviously we are pleased with our installation.

Great team. They were organized, on-time, and cleaned up afterwards. We were given any information we needed and when a minor problem or two happened down the road, we got a tech here the same day. The system has been working for almost a year now and works perfectly. Highly recommend this company.

Great Looking Solar.

My wife and I had specific aesthetic requirements that I was unsure anyone would be able to meet when we decided to finally go solar. We did not want an industrial look with visible racking and exposed wiring running across the roof and down the walls as was the typical install. American Design and Build listened to my concerns and addressed them with a custom installation. When the county building inspector came out for the final inspection he stated that this was the best looking solar installation he had ever seen. It helped that Anne Arundel County inspectors were reasonable in allowing the hidden wiring as American Design and Build had warned that most counties are not as flexible. Our Solar PV system provides all of the electricity for our house and electric car. We could not be happier.

installed passive solar hot water. a year later installed 44 solar panels. 2 years later hired them to insulate the attic. they have been pleasant and the work crews have been professional and worked on the promised schedule. they have promptly done follow up on the solar installation as needed. Better components became available after initial contract was signed and we got those at no additional cost.
