Very Easy Process

American Sentry was chosen because they spent a lot of time educating us which is important because most people don't know details of how to get solar panels installed. This is a major home project requiring at least 2 inspections. American Sentry did it all and made it as painless as possible.

Great Service and Product

We were interested in upgrading to solar to help the environment and lower our energy bills, but we weren't sure where to start. Sentry Solar walked us through the process and explained the different options available from them and competitors. It was clear that they were the right choice and it was nice that they are located right in Bel Air. Sentry worked with us to figure out which loan terms would best meet our needs and stayed in regular contact throughout the installation process. The solar panels have been live for a few weeks now and we love the ability to check the app throughout the day to see how much solar we are producing.

I love these panels!

We purchased a Model 3 last fall and knew we wanted to use solar to help power it. American Sentry Solar helped us do just that. They upgraded our power panel, ran cables and ground lines, installed a Tesla car charger, and, of course, a whole lot of solar panels! The whole thing was super easy and all of the folks at American Sentry Solar were very professional and just plain easy to work with through the entire process. Great experience! I highly recommend them!

Piece of cake! Great Experience

This overall has been a great experience although there were a few snags with my local policies, it was only a hiccup in the process. The panels were installed within a couple days, but Wilmington took their sweet time in installing my net meter so I was unable to run my panels for almost an entire month after the install date, which is not American Sentry's fault, but just be aware that this is a process. I am overall ecstatic about how easy everything has been... Gailan was great and was always available to take my calls or respond to e-mails, and same goes for everyone in the office. I would not hesitate to do it all again when I move to my next property, they turned an overwhelming process into something that was quite manageable with my hectic schedule and has needed minimal effort on my part!

After looking for a couple of months for solar companies hopeless, I was so excited and happy to receive a call from American Sentry Solar that we qualify . The whole process was fast and quick Mr. Javier Acevedo gave us such an excellent service from the beginning with all the documentation and explaining all the process step by step. After our first meeting it took less than 1 month to the panels for being working at it was because for the delay of the CPS inspector and city inspector. We will definitely add more in the future. 100% highly Recommended We love the excellent customer services and professionalism that every member of the company gave us.

Awesome company

Really enjoyed there professionalism from start to finish. Process was quick and they kept me informed at every single step. Love using the app to monitor my system and can't believe the savings I'm getting from my 15 Panel system. Will do all my solar projects with them.

Dustin Matthews was extremely knowledgeable of the products the company used, how solar worked and the workmanship and professionalism that the installers would use. Dustin "set the bar" very high, and the company was able to satisfy his promises. The installation was carried out very quickly and efficiently. Every person with the company that I spoke with, either on the phone or in person was very professional and worked around my schedule. There were pros and cons that I had to consider when choosing a local Solar Company vs. the national company, I feel very strongly that I made the proper decision with American Sentry Solar as my choice for solar panels for my home!

American Sentry was exceptional. They were timely and continuously kept me appraised of their progress ( we needed to get a variance from Balto County). Their work was first class.

Great Service!

Jerry came out at 8am to accommodate our schedule and go through the presentation with us. The whole process went very smoothly and quickly from the presentation to installing the solar panels. Panel installation only took 4 hours. Crew was professional and efficient. American Sentry then contacted BGE for us to switch out the meter. And they took care of all paperwork that we need to file in order to receive grants from the state and county. Love their app that allows us to track our solar production! No complaints about any part of this process with American Sentry and no regrets on going solar.

AMERICAN SENTRY SOLAR To whom may concern: This is to report our experience with the installation of solar panels on our home by American Sentry Solar. After we talked with Mr Javier Acevedo on February the 2nd 2019, the panels were installed in about 2 week and they were very professional, they told me that an inspection from CPS and the city of San Antonio was required, and took 2 visit from the city inspector, but the CPS inspector took more than a month to be done. But after that it was put on line and it�s been working fine, I�m waiting for the next month bill to see the difference with the solar panels. Thank you.

Professional at every stage

Every aspect of my experience with American Sentry was a good one including the sales visit. It was informative with no pressure. The installers were experienced and knew their craft well. It is a very neat install. There Solar Panels are made in the USA which is very important to me. All around a good experience and the system is generating more power than we use!

Very Professional,Honest and Proficient

After review of several other local solar companies,American Sentry Solar was by far the most honest, efficient and responsive of all the rest. Lawrence and his apprentice were very thorough and provided documentation and explanation of the entire process from start to finish. Cory and Amber were always available to answer any questions or concerns. The installation crew arrived on time and completed the install proficiently. As I watched Nick and his installation crew, they worked like a fine tuned machine always keeping safety and cleanliness a top priority. I was very impressed! After several months, we have seen a significant decrease in our electric bill as promised. We highly recommend American Sentry Solar.

We chose Sentry Solar as our Solar team as when we met with our Solar Salesman, he was very professional and very informative about their products. He was able to answer all questions we had about the system, the install and the process we were about to go through to add solar to our home.

From locating the company at the Home & Garden show, to in-home explanation and sales (Michael Gonzales) to the installation and final inspection (Jonath, Nick, Cory and others) it was a great experience. Michael did a great job explaining the product and process and ensured all of our questions were answered before we committed to the product. They took care of making sure the appropriate forms were filled out and sent in for our solar rebate and followed up with me quite often on any questions that I had along the way. I appreciated the quick responses from the team. They even informed me of a roofline issue they noticed while they were performing the installation, so I could get that taken care of. They were very thorough and cleaned up well. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for solar panels for their home.

I have been looking into finding a power resource that would be available in case my power company had interruptions of service. I live out in the country and my water supply comes from my own water well. I have several farm animals that I must be able to provide water for. I am also concerned about being able to have a supply with water for my home. I discovered American Sentry Solar through an ad on the internet. I received a call from a representative shortly after I requested information about the company. I reviewed their website with a “fine tooth comb” as the say. Checked out references, watched videos, and checked company history etc. I was very impressed with what I found. The sales representative soon was at my home providing with additional information. The cost was very reasonable and doable for my budget. So I said.. Let’s do this. The Crew who came out to install, the crew leader was very polite and professional. I can say I am very impressed with the company on all levels. I received excellent customer service from all I spoke with from the setting the first sales appointment, the sales person, the finance company and the amazing crew who installed my panels. I could not be happier with my dealings with American Sentry Solar. I have recommended several others in looking into this company. Many of whom like myself who have concern about losing power, but have farm animals to care for. And I was amazed at the first power bill.. it was $100 less for that first month. Taking the big step to ensure I will have the peace of mind that I will be able to keep my animals watered and power in my home in emergency situations is a great relief to me. Great Installation Experience

I found American Sentry Solar through an online shopping tool, and after talking with them, they had a rep out to me within a couple of days. The process of explaining the installation, the credits and rebates, the materials used, was very straightforward and simple. After agreeing to the installation, my experience working with the company was excellent. They were upfront, prompt, persistent in maintaining communication, and very professional with the actual installation. They worked with me as necessary to accommodate my schedule and made sure the process was as smooth as possible. Overall a fantastic experience, would 100% use them again.

We were a little skeptical about solar panels at first, even though we knew we were interested, and American Sentry ensured that we were comfortable from the very beginning. The process was very simple, from start to finish, and we always felt like they were available to answer any questions that we had. We also can’t say enough about the competence of the installers. They arrived on time and brought a sizable crew with them to get the job done. They were very friendly and extremely professional during the entire install. We had concerns regarding the placement of the equipment and they went out of their way to address all of our issues and kept the equipment out of sight as much as possible. Great Company for Solar and Roofing

We chose American Sentry Solar after interviewing a couple of companies, including a 'big name' in the solar business, because they were by far the most professional and because their bid included some roofing work needed for the installation. We were already considering a system with micro inverters which was their recommendation, and we are super happy with our choice. Because we installed 55 panels on a house with a complex roof design our install took several days. I stayed around to watch them work, and was impressed by the skill of the crew who took time to explain every stage of the installation process. American Sentry Solar was very efficient with processing paper work for permits, inspections and arrangin with PEPCO to install a net meter. Our contract was signed mid December, our install started mid January, and we went live mid February. The free lifetime web based monitoring that came with our system provides great insight into how the system operates, and how the south and southwest sections of our array behave during the day. Although its winter, and often cloudy we have generated over 750 kWh in just over two weeks. We expext to be close to net neutral once it warms up, we turn off our heat pumps, and the days get longer.
