What Drives Us Alternative Energy Southeast is committed to helping communities break free from the antiquated way we get our energy. By decentralizing the grid (generating and/or storing electricity at or near the locations where this electricity is to be used) we can vastly improve the national power grid. Distributed Generation (�DG�) makes the grid more resilient while providing electricity at a lower cost and with lower carbon emissions. DG decreases the end user�s dependency on big power plants, hundreds of miles away.
