What Drives Us Alternative Energy Southeast is committed to helping communities break free from the antiquated way we get our energy. By decentralizing the grid (generating and/or storing electricity at or near the locations where this electricity is to be used) we can vastly improve the national power grid. Distributed Generation (�DG�) makes the grid more resilient while providing electricity at a lower cost and with lower carbon emissions. DG decreases the end user�s dependency on big power plants, hundreds of miles away. Not only do we help customers take the �power� back from energy companies that often place profits above people, we also play a role in reducing dependency on harmful energy sources. Reducing our carbon footprint day by day . . .
We definitely had some hiccups along the way, but overall we are very happy with our PV system. Adam Hoyt is a thorough planner, and a good advocate. Most of our issues had to do with work performed by a subcontractor, not AES itself. I believe that AES will learn from this experience and improve as a company.
