Service

We have a Solar Fit system now monitored by Enphase. I noticed that one of panels was not working. A1A Solar is a recommended service provider. I called and A1A and they quickly helped me analyze our system. They gave us good advice and cleared up our problem. Thank you A1A!

A1A Solar just hooked up my Powerwall 3 unit to my Powerwall 2 units and the technicians, Nate and Warren, were great! They were quick, professional, and got my system back on line with my increased battery storage in record time. Continuing my 10 year relationship with A1A Solar I could not be happier. I had a great experience with A1A Solar & Air. Mr. Oliver managed the entire process from start to finish and did an outstanding job. I contacted A1A Solar after I was alerted that I had 8 panels that were not reporting and harvesting energy. Although A1A did not install the panels they informed me of my options with them since the original installer/maintainer was not responding to request for service from customers they installed solar to!!!🤬. Moises and his team scheduled service out of warranty. Jkari and Yancy performed the diagnostic checks and replaced the faulty part that caused the interruption in my solar production since April 2026! I am grateful for the repairs and importantly that our investment in solar is back to producing the energy levels it's designed for. I will now be changing my maintainer to A1A Solar and resting assured that I have a quality solar company that is responsive and gets the job done right!

We have had our solar system through 3.5 years of hurricanes. For us the peace of mind that we have backup power is great. Our JEA electric bill in June was $31.00. I know that prices for systems now are half what they were when we purchased our system but I still feel that the system was worth the price. We had looked at a generator first but the generator, 800 gal buried propane tank, maintenance and everything including weekly maintenance runs. I believe we made the right decision with A1A solar. Will you save huge amounts of money; No. Will you be protected from future energy price increases yes. To our family if you look at both the price of a 20+kw liquid cooled cast iron cylinder sleeve generator that will last 20 years along with maintenance and fuel and tank rental I think the solar is the better product. A1A has quality products and they stand behind them. I do recommend A1A to my friends and family.

Always a fantastic experience when ive needed A1A to do work on my solar panels or upgrades. They make it painless and in my opinion are the best and only option for anything solar panel related in Jacksonville! Working with Jay the service manager is extremely easy and communication is constant making it an absolute pleasure anytime im having issues. The work when needed is always done in super timely manner and makes maintaining my panels easier than the install itself!!! 10 Stars if the scale went that high!!! Second Time

This is the second time we have used A1A Solar to design and install a PV system on a house. The first installation was flawless and trouble free over the course of 5 years. After startup, we consistently generated a little more power than we used and this kept our bills to the minimum charged by the utility. We sold that property and purchased another and Pete Wilking’s team at A1A again designed and installed a system toward the end on 2025. The new property is occupied only part time so far and the PV system is exceeding expectations. Again, my utility bills are the minimum charged by the Utility company and I am feeding energy back into the grid and am currently showing a credit of around 1,500 kWh. Because of the Powerwall battery systems installed, power outages have gone unnoticed in both homes. The longest outage so far has been around 8 hours and we were unaware of it until we noted that the only house on our street with lights on was ours. Very professional team, clean installation and an owner that cares about his customers. Couldn’t ask for more and would use them a 3rd time. randy Fernandina Beach, FL

Jerome called me to say the panels were not sending data. He walked me through resetting the system and now everything is running and sending data properly. I did know it wasn’t working properly so I was glad A1ASolar was on top of it. Jerome was very clear in how to reset and followed back up in 10 minutes to let me know everything was good. Terrible experience

We have had our solar panels for a few years now & it has been a nightmare. Our JEA bill is always through the roof & we are not getting any relief from having solar panels. We were severely mislead from the start about going this route. We have nothing but regrets & cannot confidently say we recommend getting these installed & dealing with them.

Contacted A1A to fix a problem with a panel that the original installer messed up. I was assisted by Moises who provided excellent customer service and was very helpful addressing my issue. I would recommend A1A to everyone

Solar panels not connected to the Enphase App

I so appreciated Jerome’s perseverance on the issue and he fixed the problem when no one else could. Thanks Jerome.

Second time this same crew (Carlos and Nate) has worked at my house in the last year. First was an EV charger and now Tesla Powerwall batteries. They are competent and professional, patiently explaining everything. Jay has been very responsive every time I contact A1A and has followed up after each job.

Consistent Service and Willingness to listen and help!

The team at A1A Solar is top notch. Moises is a great communicator, kept me informed and solve my issue. Note: Extra credit points could be earned if he is able to readjust - fine tune my panel array by matching individual panels to the right zone on the roof as the sun moves from zone to zone.

Replacement Optimizers to the rescue

I just had four of the optmizers replaced and now all 26 panels are generating once more. Thanks to the crew and to Moises the representative who checks up on the power panels from time to time. He advised me of the failing panels and set everything in motion to have the work done.All in all it was a great experience.

Advice provided

Moises gave good advice about how to handle a problem with my solar panels. I’m looking forward to working with him again in May!

Moises Belocura was very delightful to speak with and helpful in all aspects of the change over of ownership for us to our new home with solar power!

System Upgrade

I was contacted by A1A Solar to discuss a system upgrade prior to the Federal Tax break going away. Jay provided an explanation of cost and benefits to switching to Tesla Inverters. Within a week financing was set up and the installation complete. The customer service at A1A is above reproach and they will keep my business as a result of their timeliness and efficient troubleshooting to keep my system online.

New EV charger up and running!

A1A Solar installed my solar & battery system a few years ago and today they got my an EV charger installed in record time. The whole team was amazing to work with and I can’t recommend them enough. Poor service avoid at all costs

recently encountered significant issues with my solar energy system installed by A1A Solar, particularly with the Envoy component, which serves as the communication and control center for my PV system. Despite the initial promise of a high-quality, long-lasting solar solution, I have faced unexpected challenges that have left me disappointed. First and foremost, my Envoy unit malfunctioned, resulting in a substantial loss of solar energy production. This not only impacted my energy savings but also compromised the efficiency of my entire system. While A1A Solar's representative, Jenny, was responsive and explained that the Envoy needed to be replaced, I was taken aback by the additional costs associated with this replacement. At the time of installation, there was no mention or written information indicating that future upgrades or replacements would incur extra charges. This lack of prior notification is concerning, especially given the significant investment I made in this system. Additionally, I have not received clear communication on how the lost solar energy production will be addressed or compensated. The unexpected costs, coupled with the loss of energy production, have left me feeling frustrated and undervalued as a customer. While I appreciate the initial service and support provided by A1A Solar, I believe that greater transparency and better customer care are essential for maintaining trust and satisfaction. I hope that A1A Solar will take these concerns seriously and work towards providing a fair and reasonable resolution. Overall, my experience with A1A Solar has been mixed. While the initial installation and performance were satisfactory, the recent issues and unexpected costs have overshadowed the positive aspects. I hope to see improvements in communication and customer support in the future. Update 06-17-2024 Thank you for your response. While I appreciate your willingness to address my concerns, I am still awaiting concrete actions and solutions to resolve the issues with my Envoy unit and the unexpected costs associated with its replacement. The loss of solar energy production has had a significant impact on my energy savings and overall system efficiency, which needs to be urgently addressed. I look forward to a prompt and satisfactory resolution to these matters and hope that A1A Solar will take the necessary steps to restore my trust in their service.

I was looking for a solar repair company. I came across A1A Solar and gave them a call. Robin was so helpful and informative. I had a solar system installed by Daybreak Solar 4-5 years ago. Never had a problem with them. I noticed water marks on the ceiling in my kitchen, master bedroom and master bath. Robin sent Nathanial, Bryon and Adan over to the house to find out where the problem was. They found out there was improper installation on where the tracks were installed to the house (roof). Did not even take a day to fix. The very next day, it rain! No leaks, so far. Rose gave me a call the next and we settle. I will definitely use their services again and I'll gladly refer their services if any asks. Kudos to the whole team! Thank you on a job well done and appreciated.

Solar system warranty

Jay was outstanding contacting me about my Tesla power wall that was having an issue that he discovered by monitoring my system. He took care of all the warranty information required to have my Tesla power wall replaced. Nick arrived at my house and was extremely professional discussing what he would be doing with the equipment that needed warranty work completed. Before I even realized it Nick had replaced my Tesla power wall and had my system back up and running. Outstanding service from both Jay and Nick representing A1A solar. I will always recommend them for installation of a new system or warranty repairs.

Excellent Project Management with Fantastic Communication

A1A Solar was instrumental in getting us to our goal of having solar power generation. This was an easy project for me, as the client, since A1A Solar handled everything from planning and permitting to installation. My to-do list was not increased due to this project, and the solar panels were installed quickly and easily.

New to Fernandina Beach and looking for long term savings.

We moved into the Fernandina Beach area in July 2022. We were in communication with several solar installers. After contacting A1A we met with Sean Smith (Senior Solar Consultant). Sean walked us thru the process, explaining in detail the advantages of going Solar. His confidence, friendliness, and overall expertise on the subject convinced both my wife and I to go with A1A. The installation went as planned, with a minor issue discovered at the final walk thru however Sean made sure it was followed up on making this a happy ending review! I recommend this company for anyone looking to have Solar energy panels installed.

Very Happy

I have had my system installed now for about 1 and a half years. No issues with the system and we have had power outages and I never knew. Sean was very helpful in getting the system I wanted. I have a neighbor that installed a solar system with another company and he has had nothing but problems.

Superb Installation and Customer Service

If anyone out there is considering getting Solar for their home, don’t hesitate and give A1A Solar Contracting a call now! I would give A1A Solar Contracting 10 stars if I could but the system limited me to only 5. I had an excellent experience with having A1A Solar Contracting install my Tesla solar system on my house. It all started with Chris G. coming by the house; he was very professional and was not a pushy salesman. He provided a very informative presentational of my proposed solar system, the benefits, with sound recommendations based on my needs and goals for renewable energy. He took the time to answer all my questions thoroughly and stayed in contact with me throughout the entire process. Ellen C., Angie R., Virginia J., John C., and Cliff L. did an excellent job of designing my Tesla Solar system. Use of the Bodhi App made it so easy to keep track of the entire process and progress of my project. It also served as a one-stop shop to communicate with everyone as well. They took care of all the essential behind-the-scenes paperwork with the engineering, drawings, county permits and net metering documentation with FPL. Once the work started, A1A Solar sent out a team of expert technicians. Nick, Carlos, Warren, Nate, and Josh came out and did a beautiful job of installing my 65 panels, 6 Tesla Powerwalls (4 Powerwall + and 2 Powerwall II) and 2 Gateway 2’s. The installation of all the equipment was clean and very impressive. They connected my system to my Tesla App without any issue. Nick, Carlos, Warren, Nate, and Josh worked fast and efficient; I definitely appreciated the fact that they took the time to explain everything that they were doing with daily onsite updates. With the complexity of my system, it took multiple trips to get everything set to perfection. The technicians did a thorough job of ensuring that everything was configured and operating at peak performance.
