Having a metal barrel-tile roof (you are only supposed to put your foot on the valleys) most solar salesmen told me it was impossible to install solar on my roof. Not Nic - he found a great company (Sunworks) that would work with me to get me a great system consisting of made in Germany Q-Cell 280W panels and a solar edge single phase DC inverter. During the installation the Sunworks contractors did damage some panels, but the contract I had worked out with Nic spelled out that the installer was liable for any damage to the roof. And they stood up to that - once the installation was completed I scheduled my roofer to come out and swap out the damaged panels with new ones, and Sunworks paid for it.
