Having a metal barrel-tile roof (you are only supposed to put your foot on the valleys) most solar salesmen told me it was impossible to install solar on my roof. Not Nic - he found a great company (Sunworks) that would work with me to get me a great system consisting of made in Germany Q-Cell 280W panels and a solar edge single phase DC inverter. During the installation the Sunworks contractors did damage some panels, but the contract I had worked out with Nic spelled out that the installer was liable for any damage to the roof. And they stood up to that - once the installation was completed I scheduled my roofer to come out and swap out the damaged panels with new ones, and Sunworks paid for it. Thus far I'm extremely happy with the system and the process of getting it installed.
