It was a pleasure working with Arun Singhal and Bill Garity on our PV system. We received fairly similarly priced quotes ($11,400 to $12, 800) for 3.6 Kw systems from two other vendors but chose Sundial because of the price ($12,700 for a 4.2 Kw system) and because Arun was not allied with any particular brand of panel or inverter. We oversized the inverter (from the 4000TL model to 5000TL) to allow for more panels in the future. Although we didn't know it when we ordered the system (and haven't yet tested it), these inverters allow for manual switching to off-grid production of up to 2 Kw. This will allow us to keep the refrigerator going during daytime hours if and when the grid is down.... read more
