I started this process to go solar with SolarCity 3 years ago. They jerked me around they didn't have the proper clips because I have a standing seam steal roof (made for solar applications). I was at a loss for hope and thought I was out of luck. Then, I found YSG Solar and spoke with Michael Michaels. Wow! What a difference intelligence and expertise makes. Michael gave me his word YSG not only could install solar on my but would get it in before 2017 so I could secure my Tax credits when I file for 2016. Michael did what few can do in business anymore - he did what he said he would. Precisely on schedule and without a flaw or error. Just received my tax incentive forms in the mail today and decided to right about my experience to share with others considering solar. Take my advice and Go with YSG Solar. Solar Time

The hardest part about the whole process was finding YSG solar, after that the decision was a no brainer. I really did my homework when it came to deciding which company to go to, and after speaking with Michael Michaels I was sold. He answered every technical question I had, and responded to my countless inquires at a moment’s notice. He took the time out to explain the science behind what the panels produce and the dollars it would translate into. What an easy and seamless process I did nothing except say yes. The whole staff is extremely professional and accommodating. I highly recommend YSG and was very impressed by their commitment to ensuring that I had no regrets.

Best home contractor we ever used for any work. The whole process was handled very well. From information on product and installation to filing paperwork with the local authority. Installers were polite, neat and professional, the salesman is still available to answer any questions in a timely manner even after job completion and payment in full. We now get paid by PSE&G for our electricity. We really do save green. Thank you!

One of the best choices I've ever made!

I have to give YSG Solar a complete thumbs up! It was by far one of the smartest decisions I've ever made and it was thanks to their competitors that I found YSG Solar! I researched getting solar for our home for several weeks before deciding to jump in to the solar world. I contacted Solar City to begin the process. What a disappointment! I spoke with a 20 something operator who looked up my address on Google maps. Instead of sending someone out to my house and visually inspect the layout of the land I was told there were too many trees around my residence. As I attempted to explain to this arrogant "phone operator" there are trees around my residence however I'm on the top of a hill and the trees don't ever interfere with the sun hitting my roof. Trust me I've been sunburned cleaning the leaves out of my gutters and had astronomical electrical bills from our air conditioning usage. So I was discouraged about going solar. Then I happened to look at the office of my wife's chiropractor. I hadn't totally given up on going solar so I asked who had done his conversion to solar power. First of all this guy never really recommends anything as he is extremely picky. He immediately spurted out YSG solar and "You have to call this company before anyone else!" He informed me how easy it was after going with YSG. I called YSG and spoke with a very pleasant representative David Magid. He was a total professional on the phone and offered to come to my residence for a site inspection and advise me of my solar possibilities. David also stated that he looked on Google maps at our residence but said you can't tell the actual sun exposure without seeing the structure in person. David came to our residence and he was as knowledgeable in person as he was on the phone. He showed me the options for our residence and said call me when you decide. There was no hard push for a sale just simple facts and an estimate for our solar project. Well needless to say I made the call and that was about all I had to do. David and YSG solar handled everything else. The permit from the village inspectors office, the financing options available and then closing the job with the final system inspections. Our system is 72 panels and cost over $80,000.00 as I did purchase it. After $29,000.00 in tax rebates that were received (as everyone is skeptical about the tax rebates) and applied to the price, my monthly payments are less than my previous electrical bill(by more than half!). My monthly payment is fixed compared to the ever rising rates/cost of the electric company increases. The price of the estimate was the final cost. No hidden costs and no additional expenses. My solar payments will go down $135.00 after 10 years and my electricity will be free after 15 years!!! The system is guaranteed for 25 years with no out of pocket expenses. A no brainer in helping make the decision to go solar. If you think of going solar give these guys a call and avoid the bigger pushy companies. The crew that installed our system was professional, pleasant and very neat. When our system installation was completed you couldn't even tell that they were here!

Solar Project

You Save Green (YSG) Solar, I don’t have 1 negative thing to say about the company or the professional people that work at the company. While a lot of companies are pushy and just trying to get your money I didn’t feel that way working with them. From the estimate Michael Michaels gave me, to Shawn, who coordinated the installation, and working with the city to Saba, the installer, they are very professional people. Michael was always around to answer my questions even if I had a question at 11 pm. If he wasn’t available, he would call me back the next day. Michael is very knowledgeable about what is going in the industry and I felt I could trust with him anything about my project. My solar panels were installed on Saturday in one day, the crew cleaned up and didn’t leave anything behind. I wish other companies were like them. Other companies could not even promise to install this year even if I signed up with them. I heard nightmare stories about solar companies but these guys are not one of them. I recommended YSG to my friends and one of them is going to get installed soon. I will continue to recommend YSG to my other friends as well. YSG solar is the way to go for solar

Received around 4 quotes but went with YSG because they were the most trasparent. Sales team took the time to answer my 99 or more questions. They were willing to provide any additional details I asked for and even provided insight that I didn't thought about. Michael Michaels managed the project with precision. Installation guys were super early and professional. The installation took a few hours and they left the place clean which was unusual for contractors I've worked with.

David and his team did a truly excellent job from the original assesmemt to the final system approval by the NYC dept of buildings. YSG has remained attentive to any issues or questions we may have and always follows up in a timely manner.

YSG installed a 4.5 Kw PV system at my home. All phases of the installation went according to the plan. All of the personal that I interacted with were knowledgeable in their profession. The installers did a very neat job with very high workmanship. The owner of the company is reachable and personable. The PV system is working well.

We had an outstanding experience with You Save Green. David Magrid did a masterful job explaining the benefits of buying panels from them. He answered all questions in plain language so it was easy to understand. Also, all emails to David were returned the same day as were phone calls. I felt no pressure as I often do during a sales pitch because it didn't seem like a pitch at all. He merely educated us on how we would save money. He is excellent at what he does. The team that installed the panels did their work in two days. They were professional, polite, and they cleaned every last bit up. I have not received my first bill yet, but the meter was spinning backwards! I highly recommend this company!

The whole process was extremely easy. David took care of everything once I made my decision to go solar. The installers were very professional, neat and definitely knowledgable. The system was completed and up and running on 7/10 and it has been producing way more than I am using so I feel confident that the system was sized right. Throughout our year+ renovation process, YSG and Anderson Renewal were the only 2 companies we didn't have to worry a thing. The entire process was seamless. Dave was very responsive. There was no pressure in decision making. The entire team was very professional and clean. Man Kit was very informative and patient. The system has been running well for a year and half now with no issues. We only have to pay $20 a month for basic services and tax. Got a statement credit of $117 on the 1st anniversary. Oh, best of all, YSG's price was the best among all 4 companies we reached out to. We didn't even have to show them other company's proposal for negotiation.

A friend of mine recommended Mr. Magid and I contacted him. He was very knowledgeable and very professional to work with. I am extremely happy with my solar system. After quite a few quotes I selected You Save Green because their quote were very competive,had the top panels and an awesome team. And most importantly came highly recommended by a friend who was very happy with his system. I had my panels for 10 days currently and already generated my entire monthly usage. Green Power

I get YSG from Costco when i was looking to purchase solar panels from them. I figured if costco recomends them they must be good. I wasn't disappointed they worked with on everything. If I want to use different panels or flashing or mounting system it was never a problem. They always kept my informed on how things progressed. Everyone was frendly and professional from the designers to the installers. My system was even installed a few days early. I was up an running on Dec 18 2014 and have been in the green ever since. It is 6 months later and David called to stop be and check to make sure everything was working properly. I looked into many solar companys before using YSG and in my opinion I made the best choice.
