When service is performed by Vasco, they’ve corrected the issue at hand. However, attempting to coordinate and schedule a repair is horrible. After multiple follow up calls from me, I’ve been told that a service repair person will get back to me soon to schedule the repair and days, weeks or even months may go by before any response. Recently, I’ve been told by one of their service members that he couldn’t complete the job because he ran out of space in his truck to carry the optimizer, and then later in the conversation changed the story to he forgot to get it. He then told me he would be here the following day at 7:30 AM to complete the repair. He never showed up, didn’t respond to text and phone calls, and the person at the main office had no idea what his schedule was. This must be a recurring issue because someone surprisingly did get back to me and the repair was done two business later. I had been trying to have the optimizer replaced since January and they just completed it now in July! My understanding, when you have a a part ordered from SolarEdge (The manufacturer) it gets delivered to Vasco, which means you can’t use another repair service because Vasco is in possession of the part. So you’re stuck with them and their policy of non-communication. If you use Vasco, I would give them one shot to perform and communicate in a timely manner. If they don’t, I would switch to another service provider.
