Vasco Solar

When service is performed by Vasco, they’ve corrected the issue at hand. However, attempting to coordinate and schedule a repair is horrible. After multiple follow up calls from me, I’ve been told that a service repair person will get back to me soon to schedule the repair and days, weeks or even months may go by before any response. Recently, I’ve been told by one of their service members that he couldn’t complete the job because he ran out of space in his truck to carry the optimizer, and then later in the conversation changed the story to he forgot to get it. He then told me he would be here the following day at 7:30 AM to complete the repair. He never showed up, didn’t respond to text and phone calls, and the person at the main office had no idea what his schedule was. This must be a recurring issue because someone surprisingly did get back to me and the repair was done two business later. I had been trying to have the optimizer replaced since January and they just completed it now in July! My understanding, when you have a a part ordered from SolarEdge (The manufacturer) it gets delivered to Vasco, which means you can’t use another repair service because Vasco is in possession of the part. So you’re stuck with them and their policy of non-communication. If you use Vasco, I would give them one shot to perform and communicate in a timely manner. If they don’t, I would switch to another service provider.

Trevor came out and did a great job. Very professional and knowledgeable, he thoroghly explained the plan for the repairs. He was able to repair multiple issues on our solar panels and also inspected & adjusted the hardware on the rest of the system to ensure it was functioning properly with no leaks. I'm very happy with Vasco, thank you.

Awesome company. Always on time, responsive and fair prices. They installed the original pool solar system and were able to quickly remove and reinstall it while I got my roof done. Highly recommend this company.

My name is Manny from Fountain Valley, This is the second time that I have used VASCO SOLAR ENERGY. Each occasion, I found their work to be extremely professional, on top of all the detail work, and kept a clean working environment . The Crew were polite and courteous and answered any questions that I posed to them… had one minor issue and they were quick to follow up and take care of the problem. the Office Staff, was just as courteous, polite and made you feel like family… would I recommend them. You bet, 100%…

Solar Pool Heating

After getting numerous solar estimates we chose Vasco Solar for our pool heating. Vasco Solar didn’t just come over and give me an estimate, but took the time to check everything including the layout for the roof. Bryce and his crew were responsible for the installation and couldn’t have been nicer, more understanding or more professional. They had to explain everything to me at least 3 times and always did it with a smile on their face and patience. :). They deserve 10 stars for the job they did and we are enjoying the pool everyday now. I wish we had done it years ago, it was the best decision we’ve ever made! I cannot say enough great things about Vasco Solar, thanks for making our summer enjoyable with our heated pool!

I was referred to Vasco Solar through a friend who had their solar pool panels install several years back. He has been extremely happy with the panels and the work performed by Vasco Solar. I reached out to them and they were always prompt at following up and addressing my concerns/questions. The owner came out and measured my roof and pool to determine the proper amount of panels (we ended up going with 14 panels total). Vasco was pretty backed up due to high demand but I was able to get an appointment booked about a month out. Justin and Bryce were my main installers but had a total crew of three come install day. They were a little short handed and would normally have 4-5. Justin arrived early on the install day, set up and went over some of the process with me. They were hoping to have the job done by 1600 hours but ended up working up until nearly 1800 hours. I was impressed with how hard the crew works. They take pride in their work and it shows. Since it was Friday, the crew advised they would be back first thing Monday morning to finish up the install. Bryce and two other gentlemen responded on time and ended up finishing the rest of the install before noon that Monday. The wife and I are very pleased with the system thus far having only tried it out for a few days. The pool heated fast after the install and was at our desired 87 degrees the very same day. Vasco solar had paired up the system to my Pentair and I was also able to also use my phone app to control the pool temperature. After the install, they went over the system with me and explained how to work it. Additionally they took the time to go over the warranty and some issues that could come up (e.g. condensation in the early morning--which is natural, seasonal changes, etc.). The install overall went without any hitches. The only thing that came up was exterior paint. We had purchased the home less than a year ago and didn't have any of the exterior paint. It had totally slipped my mind to ask about this before the install and it was never discussed prior to the install date. The crew had paint on hand and was able to closely match the paint but this is definitely something to think of prior to your install. We were very happy with how it turned out though and Vasco's ability to make everything mesh. We've attached pictures so you can be the judge! All in all, we are very happy with our install and the new system. We definitely recommend Vasco Solar!

Competitive price. Experience in both PV &swimming Solar panels

Choosing a solar panel company is not an easy decision. I pick up Vasco because they are local and they have extensive experience in both PV solar panels and swimming pool solar. The manager Rick is pleasant and always available when needed. Price were competitive. Special thanks to BRYCE for his perfectionism and professionalism Thanks to WIll for his attitude and hard working,

Excellent staff and PV panel installation

The team at VASCO Solar did a great job of installing PV solar panels on my home. From start to finish Rick was on top of it. Against 5 other solar installers, like Solar City, Solar Max and a few other local companies VASCO Solar came back with the best layout, best equipment (IMO) and competitive price. I was very skeptical at first because VASCO Solar is not a big well know company like Solar City or Solar Max, but the VASCO team came through as promised. The same day Rick came to my home to measure the roof he provided a quote a few hours later for LG 320 panels with power optimizers plus SolarEdge inverters. As soon as I signed the quote and paid the small deposit the VASCO team submitted the paperwork to the City for approval. After 1 week approval was granted and the installation was started a few days later. The install took about 3 and half days and it was up and running for testing. A few days later it passed the fire inspection and about 1 week later SCE approved it as well. Rick came to the home about 1 hour after the final approval was received and turned the system on for good. The whole process took less than 5 weeks while all of the other solar companies quoted me about 12 weeks. It was a clean job (no mess to clean up) and it looks great (painted all exposed conduit/boxes) and it is running well. I can monitor the individual panels online from anywhere, which is nice to know just in case something in the system should fail. I highly recommend VASCO Solar and their team of professional installers. I wish ALL contractors worked this way - professional, on time, good job, personable, reasonable price, quality equipment and excellent customer service! I want to especially thank RICK and LAUREN for their outstanding work and for turning this project around so quickly.
