Please Don't Purchase From This Company

We purchased a solar system from USA Energy Savers, LLC, back in May. It took two months to receive the materials needed for the system, another three months for the installation, and we still don't have the system up and running. We are retired and on a fixed income and now are paying the electric company and the payments on the $55,000 loan for the solar system each month. We borrowed extra to have some trees removed that are blocking the sun. The owner of the company had the loan company send him the extra funds. After asking and asking for the money we were sent a check which bounced. There's been no effort to make the check good. Very Dissatisfied

I have been waiting over 7 months and still have not received my referral fee (which was promised Feb.18th) and written agreement to pay my power bill for 1 year has not even addressed as well.

Giving this company 1 star is generous. My experience has been an absolute nightmare. Signed a contract with AKE in mid Sept who subcontracted it out to this company. Installation didn't start until mid November after I kept calling. Wasn't completed until December for a myriad of excuses and reasons. Activation wasn't until late January, I didn't get access to my home's data until mid February when I then found out that it's not operating at 100% because of a bad micro inverter that was installed brand new. Service call to replace it won't be until March. Meanwhile I have to pay the finance company and my power company simultaneously. I have asked for at the minimum a reimbursement of at least the first payment to the finance company. I have been asking since January and keep getting the run around.DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. In my 51 years on this earth this has been the absolute worse professional experience ever. Considering that I now have a 50k plus investment to my home and to have been treated like this a major disappointment. If I had known in advance that this would have happened I would have done more research and chosen a different company to install my solar system. I CAN'T STRESS IT ENOUGH. RUN AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AND DO NOT LET THEM DO YOUR SOLAR PROJECT!

We bought our panels in the fall of 2020 and have had zero issues! Installation was smooth and everything that was promised was received. I've seen bad reviews because people haven't gotten all the tax credit money but they don't realize that you can't get back all that money at once, especially if you don't pay that much in. You can't get back more than what you put in, the government doesn't work that way.

Generator Scam

Purchased a generator with our solar system over a year ago. Solar system was installed in responsible time, finally after they exhausted every excuse, we finally received our generator. Now we are literally on an uphill battle to get it connected. With elderly parents and living in an area with hurricanes, we are praying not to go through a 2nd hurricane season for something we have paid for. Absolutely, UNACCEPTABLE and there must be a law to regulate companies from taking advantage of consumers. Best advice, go somewhere else that can deliver what you have purchased.

Disappointment after contract signed

Salesperson was professional and explained everything and sold me on USA Energy Savers LLC Jacksonville, Fl. However, unfortunately that is where the professionalism stopped; first the installation was supposed to take no more than 2 days, installation wasn't complete for 2 weeks, secondly I was guaranteed at the point of sale, 6 months of payments refunded to me. I received a refund check that would barely cover 3 months and when trying to reach out to contact person in charge, I was giving the run around... and still to this day, 4 months after installation have not received what was guaranteed. Very disappointed in the professionalism, customer service and just the business practice.

This is a 1 because there is no rating of 0. I have never seen a company operate this way. They took forever to get our panels installed, and put a hole in our ceiling in my daughter's closet. They took several weeks to repair that. They installed a hybrid water heater and that flooded our garage the next day. They have yet to come replace the drywall. We were supposed to get new thermostats, but we haven't. We were promised several incentives, and have only received a small fraction of that. To make matters worse, we now have this monthly payment for the panels and have not seen a difference in our power bill YET. My husband is having a harder and harder time getting our salesperson to respond. Solar is a good idea if done correctly, but I would not recommend this company.

Clueless customer service

I've been calling for two weeks after their "installer" placed an order for a new power inverter box needed for access to the energy our panels are collecting. Their repeated promises to call me back have never been fulfilled, though I've been calling daily. It seems that the next step is to hope that the company owner can be found or a lawyer can force their hand.

Promise rewards they do not give

They promised a $1000 reward for each person I referred that buys the panels from them. One of my friends I referred did it and they never gave me the reward.

Crap liars

Was told that if I got the panels on my house and got all of the extra ad ins that duke power would be paying me. I’m still stuck with a bill from duke and now stuck with a 44k loan. It’s ok though. There’s lawyers waiting for these kinds of cases

I've worked with a lot of contracts over the years and I can say Kevin at USA Energy Savers is the best contractor I've worked with, hands down. He knows what he's talking about and he's a pleasure to work with. Always on time and puts the customers needs first always. Professional Solar and roofing installation is what this company does and they do it well. Thank you for your great services. I will recommend your company to everyone.

Let me start by saying that the Salesman Kevin Thomas was very knowledgeable about the product he was selling and was a pleasure to work with in getting the process started. After the ball got rolling and everything began, Don & Josh were there to answer any questions I had along the way. It did take a few weeks to get the work started, but that wasn't their fault. It took forever for the county to review and approve the plans and permits. Once everything was approved the install and everything along with it happened very quickly. Josh does some very fast work. Overall USA Energy Savers was a pleasure to work with and I would recommend them to anyone.
