Disappointed
Don Redman is a personable, talented salesman. Unfortunately the GENERAC solar system we purchased has proven unreliable, expensive, and troublesome. Service for the system has been inconsistent, poorly overseen, and has delayed response of weeks to months. We are currently waiting for repair of a non functioning system which we have been told will be at least 2 to 4 weeks. Different repair personnel have shown up each time they were needed and none have been familiar with the system. The technicians frequently condem previous repairs and installation. No follow up has ever been performed to assess function. I estimate that the system has been functional 60% of the time since installation in 2020. Specific unaddressed problems include: 1. Battery backup non functional. 2. SnapRS devices sitting on roofing material and exposed to water rather than suspended on racking. 3. Wiring not protected from wildlife. In my case the proud GENERAC name is on a faulty, cobbled together system poorly installed, and poorly maintained and supported. Overall the system had cost more to maintain than it has promised in electricity generation. Frustration cost is immeasurable.

first i would like to say i like the solar ! but very unhappy with the rest of the things i got as a package deal especially the A/C system when you buy a A/C and you the people putting it in. and you could see that the old duck would not Abe to handle the new system that's when you would say some thing then. but no you find out when summer time hits and you can not cool off the house so they come out and say you need to upgrade your duck work for 1500$ more. i'm giving them and you a 2 star rating because your name related to the co. that hired to the job right the first time. i work hard for my money. Don Redman so then you will not get any more recommendations from me and i will be posting this to my F B page <br /><br />sincerely unhappy

Amazing Solar Company --- Very Happy!!!
From the first contact with US Energy Solutions all the way through completion of the solar panels installation, we were very impressed with their professionalism, communication, and attention to detail. We didn't know much about solar so our first meeting was an educational experience. We were shown everything from how the panels would be placed on our roof to how many there would be and what color. They went through the process with us determining how big the system needed to be, with relation to our power bill. We explained that we would like to have 100% of our power covered with the solar so it was determined that we needed a 10KW system. They immediately provided the required info for our home owners association for architectural approval. It took about 3 days to get the approval. From the time we signed our contract, it took about 3 to 4 weeks for them to asses our roof structure, complete the engineering, apply for and acquire the permit, and receive the equipment. We were kept informed each week on their progress and they stayed true to the estimated installation date. Once the crew arrived, we were pleasantly surprised to see well dressed, clean cut technicians that were professional, respectful, and very knowledgeable. The job took 2 days less than they said it would, which we were very happy about. We love technology and we were excited to find out that the system would be monitored 24 hours a day through an online service that is provided by the manufacturer of the inverter. There is even an app for our smartphones so we can look at it anytime we want no matter where we are in the world! We have had our system up for about 60 days now and we received our first full power bill a couple of weeks ago. To our amazement, our bill was just under $9.00. Our average power bill for the past few years has been around $250 - $300 per month. Needless to say we are very happy with our decision to go with US Energy Solutions. Their integrity and professionalism is unmatched and we highly recommend them to anyone considering going solar.
