Texas Solar Outfitters

Texas Solar Outfitters

I am extremely pleased with the installation of Solar panels in my house by Texas Solar outfitters. Mr. Cal Morton assessed my roof and gave me complete details of the system and was willing to answer all the questions I had for him. The installation was done very professionally by his technicians and was on schedule. The price was reasonable by looking at the long term advantages and the return for my money. Good quality LG solar panels and Enphase Micro inverters were used in the installaion. All the installers and the Electricians were very courteous and friendly. They also installed the Envoy and the software to monitor the generation of Power which can be monitored on my computer and Smart Phone. Overall I was highly satisfied with Texas Solar Outfitters and would certainly recommend them to anybody. I would encourage more homeowners to install Solar Panels which produces clean energy and helps the environment by reducing the carbon footprint. Think Solar Chittur Balasubramanian

Saving money AND the planet

Texas Solar Outfitters is a great company to work with. We recently finished building a new house, and started talking with them early in the construction process. They answered all of our questions and designed the perfect system for my home. We ended up deciding to expand our system after their initial proposal (but before it actually got installed) and they were very accommodating in getting the revisions in place. I was very pleased to find that solar power has finally become affordable (though not cheap) and strangely am actually excited each month to get my electric bill! I have not yet had a summer electric bill, but thus far my solar system is generating MORE power than the original estimates and is around 85% of my total bill. We are saving a ton and LOVE the system! I don't understand why there is not solar on every single roof in Houston...so much sunlight being wasted. The sales staff at Texas Solar Outfitters are great, the installers were prompt and professional. Overall we are thrilled and 100% recommend TSO to everyone!

Seamless Electric Power

We wanted consistent power to help us through outages. We looked at portable generators and decided we couldn't count on getting gasoline to run them. We looked at whole-house gas generators and decided it was noisy plus a lot of $ plus the daily cost of gas and not used most of its life. So we decided on a small solar off-grid system with battery storage that would give us sun power all the time for certain dedicated circuits and we're very happy with it.The neighborhood had an outage recently & we didn't even notice it--computer ran seamlessly--no downtime at all. The offset of reducing our power costs is an added bonus to the back up system that generators would not have provided us. We are totally pleased with our decision to go this way for power back up.

C'mon Sunshine!

They installed as promised, worked with our schedule, and the price did not change from the quote. The installation is aesthetically pleasing and functioning with our generator.

Diane Arens Glick gets Solar Panels

As the 2013 grand prize winner of Centerpoint's Biggest Energy Saver Contest, Diane decided to get solar panels with the prize money. The team at Texas Solar Outfitters worked with us to design the perfect system and worked to complete installation by Dec. 31, 2013. After months of researching panels and companies, "Sunpower" was the choice panels and Texas Solar Outfitters the choice installers. Save yourself months of research and go with top notch installers -Texas Solar Outfitters.

Texas Solar Outfitters is a winner

Texas Solar Outfitters is the go-to installer in Houston. They ushered me through the complex process of spec-ing, engineering, building, and grid-connecting a microinverter array. My metal-SIP roof required special consideration, which they handled with enthusiasm. The installation is obsessively professional; the panels are arrow-straight, the conduit is bent tight. I recommend TSO to all potential solar buyers.

Home installation

Very excited to have my new system in place. Have already had days when I am not using energy! Panels look great on my roof. Can not even tell they are there. All employees very personable and helpful.

AN EXCELLENT JOB WELL DONE!!!

TEXAS SOLAR OUTFITTERS AND CAL MORTON WERE EXCEPTIONAL ON THE SOLAR POWER SYSTEM THAT THEY INSTALLED ON OUR HOME IN KATY, TEXAS. THEY CAME IN ON BUDGET, SHOWED UP ON THE JOB SITE ON TIME, CLEANED UP TOTALLY AT THE END OF THE DAY, AND WORKED EVERYDAY UNTIL COMPLETION. THEN UPON COMPLETION, CAL CAME OVER AND SHOWED US THE SYSTEM AFTER THE CENTERPOINT INSPECTION AND WE TURNED IT ON. HE HAD ALL PAPERWORK READY AND WE ENJOYED FLIPPING THE SWITCH WITH HIM. I GIVE TEXAS SOLAR OUTFITTERS AND CAL MORTON AN (A+). NOT ONE PROBLEM OR COMPLAINT.

Review Of Texas Solar Outfitters, Houston

The TSO people were very professional, and guided us from concept through design and installation. They revised the design as needed on-site to maximize the value we got for the work they did. They have also been very responsive with any maintenance issues we've had.

Happy Experience

Explained everything clearly. Did what they said they were going to do. Made sure everything was running right. Feel like they will be responsive if we ever have a problem. Would definitely recommend.
