Texas Best Solar

Excellent company. I wouldn't call anyone else

We bought a house with solar panels and were clueless about how to maintain them. Spencer set us up with the app and found out that we had a failed inverter. He filed the paperwork and once it arrived sent his team over for the install. It could not have been easier. I was very impressed with his knowledge, efficiency and price. I would not call anyone else.

Excellent experience working with Spencer and his team from Texas Best Solar! They recently installed our Tesla Universal Wall Connector and did a flawless job. The installation is clean, looks incredibly professional, and functions perfectly. If you are looking for a reliable, expert electrician for an EV charger setup in the area, I highly recommend Spencer and the team!

We had a great experience with Texas Best Solar when they installed our solar panels last November. Spencer, the owner, was very professional and presented the best and most reasonable proposal. From the beginning, we felt he was trustworthy and reliable. From paperwork and permits to installation—was smooth and well managed. At one point I made a mistake with a payment, and Spencer handled it with great patience and professionalism, which speaks volumes about his character and the company. As a veteran-owned business, they truly stand by their values. Highly recommend Texas Best Solar.

At the time I'm leaving this review, Texas Best has 150 5-star reviews and I couldn't be less surprised. This is easily a 5-star+ business! The customer service, communication, product quality and integrity are unmatched. Thanks so much, Spencer and team! We are obsessed with our solar panels. We did a lot of research comparing the generator option to solar panels and are so pleased with our choice - both to do the solar panels, and to use Texas Best. Highly recommend!

We were not educated on solar and ended up filling out a online quote website. Well, that got us about 15 different solar companies that just brought about more confusion. At that point I got online and decided I wanted to find a real company based in the Dallas area not some subcontractor calling me from Michigan. Texas Best Solar jumped out at me and so I called. Spencer was great to work with and made me happy I called. He gave the honest pros and cons of the types of equipment and installation and was able to work up a quote. We pondered the idea of going forward, with the project, and on more then 1 occasion I called back and had further discussions with Spencer and truly felt like he was being an honest straight shooter. We made our choice with Texas Best and couldn't be happier. GREAT PEOPLE! GREAT WORK! fair price and no gimmicks. Wouldn't recommend anyone other than Texas Best Solar! Thanks Spencer, Richard , and the Texas Best team for the bang up job!

Spencer and his entire team at Texas Best Solar truly live up to the name of the company. I would truly rate them as the best! After Spencer came out to evaluate my property and design a system that would meet what I was hoping to achieve, I had a quote and information on potential options immediately. There was no pressure and Spencer responded to all the questions that I had right away. His team, from those in the office to the wonderful crew that endured the 105 degree temperature up on my roof were top notch. From dealing with my HOA, the city and the utility company, to everything in between I don't think it could have been done better. I highly recommend Texas Best Solar.

Great Service

Spencer was great and answered all of our questions even after the job was finished. Everything went smooth on the installation side even though the city electric company was a bit of a pain. Overall fairly quick and easy.

Repeat Customer!

Loved our first experience with Texas Best Solar so much, that when we moved, we decided to use them again.

Energy Independence

It’s the snow day, yes that snow day. And I want to ask, do you have power? Because I do. No thanks to the electrical grid, but thanks to Texas Best and Spencer who helped me set up a system to not make me reliant on the grid. Install was fast, easy, and affordable. I couldn’t recommend them enough. So do yourself a favor, grant yourself energy independence by calling Texas Best.

They're Really The Only Choice For A Solar Contractor

We had Texas Best Solar install our array over 3 years ago. We talked to several companies before we made our decision; and after speaking to Spencer, we didn't let him leave the property without our commitment to doing the installation. As others have said, TBS isn't about pressure-sales. It's about giving you current, accurate information to make your own decision. Once you do commit, they're there for you for questions, all the details of the installation from HOA approvals to city/county permits to electric provider coordination. They do it all. AND, their customer service is local. While I have not had a single issue to call customer service on, I know TBS will be right there if I *do* need them. They're here today, and they'll be here long into the future. I have absolute confidence in TBS and thank them every day for the excellent install that gives me a -zero- electric usage charge every month.

Excellent experience

Worked earlier this year with TBS on having solar installed at our residence. Couldn't be happier with the sales pitch, assistance with paperwork, financing, install, and any follow up issues that might have occurred with the hardware once installed.

My experience with Texas Best Solar

I had such wonderful experience with Texas Best Solar. Most of my contact with TBS was through Spencer. He is an incredible resource, extremely professional, always ready to help and very practical. I was involved in a "Solar Project" myself thirty some years ago when I was a college student. I had enough knowledge to do my homework picking up a company to install 8+ KWH on the roof of my house. I was expecting and did experience some sort of sales push or gimmick with few of the five companies that I contacted but not with TBS, Spencer was very frank and presented his proposal and plan as I was wishing for, directly to the point and down to the dollars and dates. Spencer handled all the tasks in the process including two of the traditionally painful tasks, permit from the city and approval from HOA. Installation also went as it was promised, 6 facing east and 20 facing south, nicely spread on the roof. Inspection run to a couple of issues but based on what I have heard, it was not unusual in city of Plano. A couple of days ago, less than a month, I reached the goal of 1 MWH of production. Now I am looking for a way to use TBS solar for a couple of more projects for my rental homes. HIGHLY recommended.

Transparent, ethical, honest, reliable

Customer satisfaction is the backbone of this company. I cannot speak louder then that. When I had questions, they always answered, when I had concerns they did not waver. The crew at Texas best solar are truly Titans of the industry and lead by example on how work and business should take place.

Great Company to work with

I worked for 30 years at a Department of Energy National Laboratory. In that time, I managed staff working on grid management, SCAD, buildings technology, energy codes and standards and renewable energy. Therefore, I knew enough about solar technology to be dangerous. Fast forward, my wife and I just moved to Texas to be with our daughter. Having a perfectly facing south roof and many sunny days I thought it was a wise time to go solar and leave a legacy of reduced electric bills. After doing a little extra research, I picked out three premium solar panel providers and their installers to interview. Two of which were somewhat high pressure and assuming. I chose Texas Best Solar as they were more informative than pressure and their product the Solaria panel was by far the most cost effective of the three panels I looked at. They worked to help establish the best financial plan for me. They effectively carried out all tasks required to construct my system and to get me hooked up to the grid. They were extremely professional. They genuinely care that my system is performing as promised and have contacted me to make sure that I am satisfied with my installation. I highly recommend Texas Best Solar.
