TerraSol Energies did an amazing job with our solar installation. The project manager kept us up to date on the status of installation. All applications to township and utility company were submitted on time and project was completed before the deadline. Really appreciate Rasha and Robert's continuous support and they were both on top of everything. The crew was very professional during installation and during project closeout, I was fully informed on how to monitor the system and other features. Very satisfied and highly recommended.

I can't say enough good things about TerraSol Energies, Inc. and Rob Santoleri. From the first time we met him he was very patient, explained everything in detail, and answered all of our questions. He walked us through the whole process and Rasha kept us informed about every detail of the installation and loan process. The installers were very respectful and polite, and cleaned up when their work day was done. So far the system is working as we expected and we have gotten lots of positive comments from our neighbors.

Why don't we get solar?

That's what we asked ourselves often over the years in our all electric home. We had been held up by the initial cost but when the "stars aligned" we went for it. We are very happy with our decision to use TerraSol. The locally owned company was very accommodating. They were easy to work with and completed the job efficiently. They were also helpful in setting up our SREC account. Would definitely recommend them for your job.

Our experience working with Terrasol to get solar on our roof was excellent. I started looking at solar already coming in educated, and was extremely turned off by the hard sell tactics of many other companies. Rob did a great job catering information to my very detailed questions and walking us through the process. The product they offered was top tier and so was the customer service - I especially liked knowing the business we were working with is actually physically located in our area. We got our solar installed in the middle of supply chain chaos and Terrasol managed every piece of the process as well as they possibly could. The installation was quick and clean, and accomodated my particular requests for how to run the wiring. During the interconnection process with PECO (the worst part of getting solar), they kept after PECO to get their pieces finished and get our system turned on. During a zoom session with the PECO team it became clear that the Terrasol customers on the call were having a completely different (much more supportive) experience compared to customers of other companies on the call. TL;DR - I'm an analytical person with high standards for projects at my house and we were very happy working with Terrasol.

A Pleasure To Work With

I had already done a lot of planning for our somewhat unusual needs of a Solar Project before contacting TerraSol because I planned on doing much of it myself. But the team at TerraSol, took my starting point, fixed issues, obtained permits and executed the install including our special filtering and battery needs. The system came out great and I am very happy with the work. The team is honest, fair, and excellent to work with. Highly recommended.

Sunny Days

Rob came out (on a sunny day) and laid out a plan. The project management team at Terra Solar were prompt and courteous walking us through the entire process and keeping us well informed through the power company interconnect application. The invoice system was easy to navigate. The install was done on time (on a sunny day) with full coordination between the roof and the electrical box installation. Certification followed shortly after construction completion (on a sunny day). PECO showed up 2 weeks later (on a sunny day) to install the meter and we immediately started net metering. Rob came back out to close out the project (on a sunny day) to wrap up the installation.

Great Investment

Top flight solar company, from sales to install to system activation. Not a single complaint. My son had worked in sales for a large national solar company so I knew from his experience that I only wanted a local company where honesty matters because their reputation and future depends upon it. I am very pleased I contracted with TerraSol. Truly a reputable company. At age 54, I consider solar to be an investment in my retirement. And with rising inflation and energy costs, I predict this investment will outperform the stock market and is certainly recession proof. And my EV is now truly and fully emissions free and will be for the next 40 years, not to mention our summer AC use. Thank you Rob, Matt, and the whole team at TerraSol!

Top notch team from start to finish

Throughout the entire process from quoting to project closure the team at TerraSol was amazing. Rob and Rasha were very thorough, professional, and quick to respond to any questions I had. The installation team was very efficient and had the panels installed in less than a day. The only issue we had was with the new bidirectional meter install by PECO due to leftover supply chain issues related to the pandemic, which had nothing to do with TerraSol, but even then they were in constant contact with PECO and provided me regular status updates until my new meter was installed. If you are looking for a friendly top notch professional team for your solar panel quote look no further.

Excellent, highly recommend!

Excellent solar install experience. Rob and team listened to our priorities and designed a system that met our needs while maximizing our grant eligibility. We got quotes from other providers that didn't want to continue the conversation after we told them we didn't want the panels on the street facing roof, even if it is South facing. We now have a system that is producing excess capacity and is discretely located. The sunpower app is a powerful tool, including panel level monitoring in case there are issues with any 1 panel. An investment of this size is not one to take lightly, and we are happy we went with Terrasol! We also like that if any issues should arise, we have a local expert that knows our system to assist.

Best Solar company

Robert and TerraSol were fantastic to work with. I researched solar for months and spoke to 5 other companies. They all came in with high pressure tactics and deceptive pricing or just straight out outrageous prices. The quotes ranged from $35-$75K for the same size system. TerraSol was my last call. I spoke with Robert, he asked some questions about what my goals were with Solar and gathered some info about my current usage and then followed up with a quote. There was no high pressure sales pitch and the quote was lower than any of the others. The panels they use are some of the, if not the, most efficient panels, and have the best end of life efficiency. So we got the best system for the lowest cost. As for the install, they kept me informed every step of the way and got the panels installed a little ahead of schedule. The longest delays were caused by the PECO approval process and the township inspection and permitting which was out of TerraSol's control. The panels they installed were actually a little higher output than what was quoted because they were what was available at the time. I have no doubts any of the other companies would have either up-charged or delayed the install but TerraSol honored the price. After the install Robert followed up to make sure I was happy with everything and if I had any questions. Overall I would definitely recommend TerraSol to friends, family, neighbors, or anyone else looking to go solar.

I was having a surprising amount of trouble finding a solar installer who would actually sit down and look at putting solar on our slightly unusual roof. When I first talked to Rob at TerraSol I immediately got a different vibe and was pretty much sold on getting a system from them. TerraSol has real, honest people that you'll work with. They handle the entire process for you from designing the system, creating a proposal, handling all the permitting, the utility interconnection stuff, grants, tax credits, RECs, install, inspection, etc. I should mention that the cost was much better than I was expecting. A good payback wasn't our primary goal but it actually turned out to be a pretty decent investment too. Others in my family have also had solar installed by TerraSol with the same experience so I can say ours was no fluke. If you're looking to add solar to your house I strongly recommend getting in touch with TerraSol. You can at least see what they have to offer yourself. A bit more details for the curious: We installed a relatively small system on a flat roof (which most installers wouldn't touch). It's a SunPower system with microinverters. It's been a great system so far; really my only tiny complaint is that their app is just ho-hum. The warranties on the system are insane; it covers the entire system and ensures it performs almost like new all the way out to like 25 years which is beyond the payback period multiple times over. We saw generation that was within 1% of the maximum system rating literally on day one. We couldn't be happier with the system.

Great Experience

I got several quotes for solar and talked to a few sales people at some regional and national solar outfits. None of them made me feel comfortable with the process or even came to see my property before giving an estimate. Some required large, non refundable deposits before they would physically see the property. TerraSol was different, Rob had a no pressure style, came out to see and take measurements of my roof, and discussed the process thoroughly before offering an estimate. They also use top notch materials (SunPower) with great performance and warranties. My project was delayed due to my utility provider, but otherwise went smoothly, Matt and his install team did a great job! Communication throughout the process was timely and informative, Rasha kept me updated on all the permit and paperwork needs and milestones. My system has been performing great since energization and I am very happy with it! I would definitely recommend TerraSol for your residential solar project.

Phenomenal Company!

I can't say enough great things about TerraSol! My husband and I have been interested in Solar Panels for a while now and have done our homework on the topic. We met with Rob, who has an incredible talent of explaining the ins and outs of the system and the entire process to a customer and not pressuring them one bit. That is truly a gift and something I have never experienced from another company trying to sell us something. Everything went exactly as Rob explained. The installers were wonderful and everyone kept us in the loop of everything the entire time. The quality is top-notch, the customer service is A++ and the price was exactly what we had expected. So far, the solar production is on par with what was predicted. We really enjoyed our experience with TerraSol and they were truly appreciative of our business. We would recommended them without a doubt to anyone who is interested in Solar!

Rasha has a great knowledge of all regulations and documents to obtain the approvals, loans, and grants to start the project. It is great to work with her to get the project started quickly. The installation team led by Carl is very efficient and detailed-oriented. The panels have been running smoothly since mid-May. Very satisfied! It’s been almost 2 years since our rooftop solar system was activated, and I can confidently and highly recommend Terrasol to anyone who wants to get solar panels, or is even just curious and starting to think about getting solar some day. Everything about Terrasol has met or exceeded our expectations. I love that they are a local, family-operated company that is committed to a quality experience for their customers on top of providing high quality products. From start to finish during the project it was clear that they truly cared about our satisfaction, and the high quality SunPower system they installed has met our expectations so far over the first 2 years. Rob let us take our time to review the initial estimate and proposal and answer all of our questions, with no pressure to sign quicky – unlike another company we had come out – we were able to sign the contract when we were ready after thorough review. When I first spoke with Rob he was happy to answer all of my questions even before completing the initial estimate, and then continued to be involved from start to finish with the project and answering all of the questions we had along the way. Rob monitored the project personally, and even came out and worked with his team during each phase of the project. In the end Terrasol provided us with a top quality SunPower system with the best warranty available, at a total cost that was comparable to or even less expensive than some of the quotes we received for much lower quality systems. For those who may be curious about how the system has performed, during our first 12-months the system generated 98.3% of the electricity that it was predicted to. During the first 10 months of this year the system generation has produced about 1.5% less energy than it did during the same period last year, but this is despite a lot of cold and snowy weather where snow remained on the panels for quite a few days. In over 15 years in this area, we’ve seldom/never had snow stick to the ground for so long during the winter without melting – so while both Jan and Feb solar output was lower than typical as a result, we’re still very close to where we were last year at this time in terms of total electricity generated. While the weather every year can be unpredictable, and despite some significant differences these first two years, I’m impressed with how consistently our system has been producing power on an annual basis in line with what Terrasol projected it would. I fully expect the system to continue to meet our expectations for the next 25+ years.
