Bad to worse
1st, I am not in Utah but could not change it. NorCal. I paid big bucks CASH UP FRONT for a 36 panel system that was supposed to produce 10,500 KWH. Yeah, right. The best I ever got at peak sun was 8.1 KW, and that was only for about 2 hours out of 8 hours of sun. I have never had a positive NEM. I called them numerous times and they finally came out and replaced the too-small 7500 KW inverter with a 10,000 KW. It helped a tiny bit for awhile, then back to miserable outputs. I paid for a system that was 20% more than my peak annual demand, and I'm getting far less than what I consume. Last year's NEM was over $1200 I had to pay out. This is BS. I'm gona start calling again so maybe.....maybe...they will find a solution.

Great products, great installers, great service
We got a 3.66 kW solar system from them about 2019. We have had the system for nearly 2 years now and it has worked great. We showed them our power bill, they helped us estimate a system size based on our nearly 12 months of data from Rock mountain power. We wanted to size our system to match 90% of our power usage. They provided a solar estimate based on our # of panels and roof details. It actually produced more than the estimate from Synergy and NREL! Our electric bill is only about $25/ month now (including the $7.00 mandatory RMP Electric meter fee). They have a 10 year production warranty and something like 10 year inverter warranty and 20 year solar panel warranty. We got a micro-inverter system with 13 panels. 1 panel's inverter went bad after about 18 months or so. We called them, they replaced it for free with no issues. They are one of the only companies that has all 3 Utah Licenses: 1) General contractor (for 17 years) and 2) Electrical and 3) PV solar license for nearly 9 years! Great price, reputable and they stand behind their products and installation. We bought another home and are planning on using them again for the next home system installation.

Horrible company Beware
We had an Atlantic key person come to our door and talk us into getting the solar for our house. They undersized our house knowing we only had been living there four months. Synergy was the installer. We have told them numerous times and they knew it was undersized from all of our power bills. They told us they were going to get new solar panels to put up there to make it right and it’s now going on a year and we still have to pay an electric bill with our solar bill. Now both companies are blaming each other for this and neither of them wanna do anything about it. Then you have Libby who works for synergy just straight up ignores us and our calls. We leave a message every single day and she does not return any phone calls whatsoever to resolve this issue. They promised they would resolve this issue their word means nothing. Stay far away from both companies they do not stand by their product or their word.

Poor communication, panels seem to work well
We went with Synergy Power, as they had slightly better financing than other companies. However, as soon as we signed the contract we had minimal follow up from Synergy, any updates that we had came from me reaching out to them to see how it was progressing. They had told us it would be installed before the end of the year (it was one of their selling points to get us to buy when we did, ensuring us we would get the best tax rebates that way), however it was not operational until mid January. Other companies offered a guarantee to get it installed by the end of December. The panels seem to be functioning well, but we’ve only had them for a few months. We never received any closing email or requests from the company for a final review. Overall, their communication was poor, but they seem to have gotten the job done.
