Sunwind, LLC

Tim and his team did an excellent job installing our solar panels. He handled the project in an extremely professional and timely manner, adhering to my accelerated schedule and his proposed cost. He was extremely accommodating in minimizing the outside footprint of the electrical conduit and panels associated with the solar panels, so the exterior of the house still looks pristine. He also took care of all permits and documentation required of the town and the utility, which was not routine due to complications from a previous construction project we had (it was an addition to the house). Finally, he provided a new roof for the panels and areas not done by the pre-mentioned construction. He was able to match his installed roof exactly to that done with the previous construction, and his professional roofing job was also done within schedule and budget. His team’s excellent capabilities in both installing roofs and solar panels gave me the great convenience of being a one-stop shop.

Tim and his team designed and installed a top notch Solar System for our house. He processed all the necessary permits and applications in a timely and successful manner. The system is delivering power as planned. Even as we enter the least sun efficient portion of the year the system is keeping up with our electrical demand. I am very pleased.

Tim and Jen were phenomenal from project initiation to system activation. They coordinated replacement of roof shingles, installation of 34 panels and activation of the system in time for us to apply the 2020 tax credit. They, their teams and sub contractors were responsive, professional and prompt in addressing any questions that we had and even upgraded our panels at no cost to us because of supply issues from the vendor. Excellent company to work with and one that any homeowner on the Cape should use to install their solar panel system.

We have almost completed the first year of our solar experience. All along the way, SunWind and Tim Holmes were knowledgeable, helpful, ready to respond to our concerns. Had I known the transfer from consuming electric power generated who knows where to consuming our own was so easy, I would have done it much sooner! SunWInd's installation was without equal--We've never had a crew take such good care of our concerns. They guided us through the inevitable paperwork, always responding to questions right away. And now, the bills for electricity arrive with credits! And there are the SREC checks, too!

We have now had our solar electric and solar hot water system in Orleans for about 6 Years. With the minor exception of a pump failure in the solar hot water system the systems have been flawless. A combination of a $0 dollar power bill and the initial rebates and SREC quarterly checks of around $700 have provided about a 10% return on investment. The owner , Tim, is very responsive and highly knowledgeable about the programs and installations options.
