I did my research online and my entire experience from the beginning to end was top notch with Sunpro Solar. Each division of the installation process was professional and crew personnel arrived promptly and completed their work. The best part of this company is the owner Mark Jones who sent me a handwritten note giving me his cell phone number to contact him personally if I experienced any difficulties. The solar company warranty for 25 years of service and care for the product was certainly a deal clincher for me. My savings on electricity certainly make my choice of Sunpro since June 2019 worth the purchase price.

Excellent Work

The install was quick and easy. The paperwork was minimal. The finance rate was excellent. They took care of everything.

Enthusiastic to get in the door

I'll start this with , the two things I hate most in this world is a liar and a thief and while I won't out right point out any particular person yet , it sure seems like my wife and myself were dooped from the start . This sight asked for a detailed review so that's what I'll give. So I found this sites " solar calculator and filled out the form and quickly got called by SunPro to set up a meeting so we had an appt. at 12 noon on a Saturday , and the calls began . " I'm running behind , I'll be there at 2" , ok I say , call #2 , " man things are taking longer than I thought , looks like it'll be 5 , I apologize , the presentation won't take that long . If you want to reschedule I'll understand . " No I say we've , sat home all day waiting just get here . 6 pm he pulls up and the wonderful world of solar is laid out before us, please don't misunderstand , I wanted this and was excited to see how this might benefit us and help us financially in the future . We were GUARANTEED several times over that our monthly payments would be $150.00 a month for the next 25 years and how the electric company would be raising rates @ 5% annually and we would be "locked in" at $150 and all would be great in the universe . Welp , after a 3 hour tree hugging session and the fact that it was now 9pm and I'm ready for this guy to get out of my house we were signing and when we ( she ) started looking over the fine print the " oh , it basically says this and that and you can go over it later just sign here and there and I can leave you folks to rest or something to that effect . Welp , we got a letter from our electric company saying we had to up our homeowners ins. to $100,000 before we get the smart meter , then another saying they want to be added to our policy so if we make a claim the check we would recieve would also have they're name on it and that's where $*#! has hit the fan. we were told by SunPro that we will have to pay $13,000 or so if we want to back out and so now I'm going to seek council to see if we have an option to have these panels removed from our house and walk away free and clear. We were told they take care of ALL permits and contacting the utilities and all we had to do is sign the dotted line . So my question is , did they know we would have to give our claims away or that after 6 mos. our payments would be what our highest light bill has ever been in the last 13 yrs. ? oh and that if we backed out after all this , we are responsible for paying the difference when they sell our panels at used price when they've never been turned on ? I have never written a review like this before but man I feel like we have been slimed from the first meeting to the present . Good luck and be careful .

Going on 7 months and still no solar

First off they are all nice people and the work is good quality. Problem for me is that I signed a contract around April and we are coming up on November and I have no functioning solar. It started off great, but the train went off the rails when they had trouble getting a permit for a ground mount system, so I asked if they could mount to the roof, which they could, but now it seems as if I have been lost in the shuffle. I send messages asking for updates and I get a response saying they will look in to it and get back with me, and then nothing. I had part of a system installed a couple months ago, and I was told it has a short somewhere and trips a breaker, and no one has come out to fix it, nor do I have any idea when that will happen. I was told that the electric company has to switch out a meter, but again no mention of when that will happen, I guess they have no control so oh well my problem? In the quest to change from a ground mount to a roof mount, they are also replacing a roof first, which is great, win for me since that was needed. However... when I ask for an update, I always get the same response, well since you switched to the roof... I am soooo tired of hearing that, how about I just get some dates that can be held? I am not asking for anything special, just let me know when I can expect to have solar, that is it! My goodness....

I cant seem to edit my original review, sunpro has reached out to me and completely changed my mind, they have went above and beyond to resolve my unhappiness. In short, I wasn't happy and they did all they could to fix that. I change my 1 star to 5 stars and give customer an extra 5 stars (10 total) :) THANK YOU SUNPRO for making an unhappy customer HAPPY again. these are the ppl to buy and deal with best customer service iv had in a long time

Larsen of SunPro, our sales agent, is top notch, always available for questions and assistance, way after the sale. Jaquiem, one of the solar panel installation techs who installed our solar panels was professional and courteous. And regarding our SunPro electricians, Rick and Cody, we couldn't be more happy with the work they did. Both gentlemen went the extra mile to make sure our electrical solar panel requirements were met and our questions were answered. Rick apologized several times about a scheduling conflict that wasn't even his fault. He kept us aware of what was going on during the entire 6 hour process and even stayed late to ensure we were satisfied with the work that was completed. We would work with all these gentlemen again at any time.

Quality company from sales to installation

Honest sales delivery providing multiple options while providing pros and cons of each option Sunpro offers as well as options and performance of the general types of solar hardware options. The installation and back office (engineering and project mgmt) staff where exemplary - on-time and fully engaged with me throughout the project. I could not more highly recommend this company.

Best Solar Panels : Best Solar Panel Installation

I'm excited to write this review. The staff at Sunpro Solar was amazing. We have had our panels for 5 years. In those five years, we have had one faulty solar panel. Unlike other companies (I've heard horror stories) the staff was helpful and came out to my property within the week to replace my solar panel. Sunpro Solar is honestly an amazing solar panel installation company. I did extensive research on companies in Orange County prior to selecting them as my solar panel provider near me. There were many providers near me to choose from, however, when I finally made my choice they key determining factors were: 1. Solar Company in Business for Years: at the time of my research Sunpro Solar had been in business for years. 2. Quality of Solar Panels: Sunpro Solar supplies SunPower solar panels. They have different types of panels to choose from and Sunpro Solar was extremely helpful in assisting me to make my decision as to which solar panels to install. 3. Warranty: SunPower solar panels come with an extensive warranty. When making our selection, it was important for my husband and I to have a warranty due to the substantial investment. 4. Friendliness: Sunpro Solar staff were patient with my questioning which was honestly pretty relentless. Prior to solar installation, I was pretty naive in solar technology. I asked so many questions to different installation companies. Sunpro staff was the friendliest. Every summer, we have saved hundreds-literally- in our heating and cooling needs. Prior to solar installation, there were quite a bit of tears shed (honestly) with our heating and cooling bill. Our home is quite large and our energy bill was just as enormous. Actually, the reason we decided to switch to solar was because of our large energy bill- we had to do something! I strongly recommend Sunpro Solar if you are in Orange County.

Excellence at it’s best!

Sunpros representative Laurie is very friendly and knowledgeable. The installation was fast and efficient. No one can beat the warranty’ and effectiveness of this solar company. The panels are good looking too.

Long on promises/short on delivery

Lot of promises were made including production guarantee and referral dollars for recommending. Nothing done. Promise made by manager himself

SunPro has certainly lived up to their promises! I started researching solar in 2014 and didn't find the right match of company, product and fit until I found SunPro in 2017. I'd received several other quotes and and the fact that SunPro had such a good price on these top rated premium LG panels sealed the deal (along with the SunPro guarantee of production) I have circled back to some of my neighbors who went with another company and not LG panels and two in particular stand out... both are quite unhappy with their deal, those systems don't generate as promised and it's left those neighbors paying a solar loan AND a Duke bill most months. From install to support SunPro and these LG panels have lived up to the promises and expectations. I have not had anything due from Duke (aside from the customer charge you cannot get rid of) in several months and this was exactly what I was expecting to see from my system. I absolutely LOVE the micro inverters on these panels and the ability to see consumed and generated in real time ever 15 minutes. Other systems without the micro inverters don't allow the true real time monitoring of your usage and generation to help make tweaks during the day to maximize your generation. I'm excited to get to the end of this, my first FULL year Jan-Dec with the panels so I can bask in the production number at the end of the year.

The Sunpro representitave, Scott started the ball in what I would say were the greatest team plays ever. Megan kept me updated regularly and each step was simple, easy and worry free. Sunpro Solar is the best!

Our system was professionally designed and installed by Sunpro several months ago. We love it. The LG panels with microinverters are very efficient. We get a credit from Duke every month. Can’t beat 25 year warranty! Our neighbors are going solar with Sunpro too.

Sunpro Solar is awesome to work with

Sunpro Solar (specifically Chris) is a great company to work with. They are very considerate and honest with regards to what our home needed and how many panels. Chris went above and beyond to ensure the process from buying to installation and follow up has gone perfect. Any issues we did have it was taken care of with out question. Overall I would not chose to work with any other solar company and Chris is phenomenal.

Couldn't be happier to switch!

I interviewed 3 companies before making a final decision on solar. Sunpro is the total package at a great price. Sunpro not only offered a competitive price, but they were very thorough, ensured I knew each step of the process and set me up with realistic expectations. The energy consultation that they perform after solar panel installation is equally important to me, not only am I adding solar energy to home, but I'm using less energy then ever! Eliminating a power bill, saving money, solar is such a no-brainer, I won't hesitate to call them for any and every home I own for life. Their app is awesome as well, you can monitor and learn so much about energy usage!

Incredible Experiance

I'd like to pass on good words about the team that installed my solar panels this Friday. They made the experience a great one and truly made me a believer that there are still service companies out there that care about the customer. Jerry, Mike and Eric were very efficient and took every opportunity to tell me how things were going and what they were doing. Denton and Bryan were also super helpful and explained all the basic steps they needed to do in order to get the electrical where it needed to be to meet code and support the new solar panel system. This stellar team speaks volumes about the business it self...I absolutely recommend Sunpro...PS Military friendly (Big plus)

Better than I ever imagined

Sunpro Solar (Dallas) installed a 14.74kw solar energy system made up of 44 LG 335-watt panels at my home in Dallas/Carrollton. A professional crew of installers and electricians worked for most of a day to complete the project on a Monday. In addition, my home (built in 1982) required a new electrical panel being it was outdated and insufficient. Customer service is a high priority with SunPro Solar and is evidenced by their ratings and reviews. Check Angie’s List, The Good Contractor’s List, BBB, Facebook, Yelp, Google reviews and sites where you do research. A company with this record of service will see to it that every step is handled properly. This is one of the reasons I selected SunPro Solar. Thanks to the diligent efforts of Arletha Kent (solar specialist and sales rep), Paulina Castillo (project coordinator), and the employees of SunPro Solar, my system was able to go live immediately after being installed. It is already exporting energy back to the grid. This final step commonly takes several weeks to complete in order to have time to process an interconnection agreement along with other necessary steps. My documentation was processed quickly and efficiently (mostly online) through the multiple layers of approvals and actions. I need to give an extra dose of praise to Arletha Kent for communicating with me frequently during the six weeks it took from bidding to completion. I noticed other companies were often criticized for a lack of communication. Now that my solar installation is complete, I am even more impressed than I ever imagined. GoSunPro.com. EnergyPro review: My wife and I had EnergyPro reps Janeal White and Travis Kent begin our SunPro home solar energy installation by giving our home a thorough home energy audit (GoEnergyPro.com). This service is provided as a bonus for going solar with SunPro Solar (GoSunPro.com). PART of the EnergyPro package includes 64 LED bulbs/floods, a Nest Pro thermostat, water heater blanket, smart power strip, attic tent, and a year’s supply of air filters. Janeal and Travis also worked on sealing our exterior doors. (The EnergyPro package includes sealing leaky duct work and other discovered air leaks.) The LED light bulbs are dimmable and equivalent to a 60-watt incandescent; I replaced incandescent lights I didn’t know I had. Just a quick shout out to our sales guy Chris Rollit and his team of installers to the back office. Finally nice to have a company communicate and deliver in a timely manner. We have been extremely pleased with the work and are very happy we went with this company as opposed to the 3 others we got quotes from. We highly recommend them!

Great company and customer service!

Sunpro did our solar installation last month, it was a seamless process for us. They also installed a new roof prior to the panels, that also was handled well. There was even a little mishap with my driveway, and they took care of it without hesitation. Jennifer Rieck was our salesperson and she's very knowledgeable about the products and tells you up front what we should expect. Overall it was a great experience and a good company to work with. Highly recommend them!

Sales and Service

Chris T. was our sales representative. Found him to be highly knowledgeable in the SunPro system, equipment and operations. The installers (Eric, Doug C. and Daniel S.) were very proficient in the preparation, install and clean up phases. Jorge, the electrician was very professional and spent a great deal of time walking me through the electrical system and addressing the operation and safety features for the unit. Upon early arrival they found the area of install to be covered in ice. For safety, they washed down the ice and installed safety anchors. The panel install took less than three hours.
