Better than I ever imagined

Sunpro Solar (Dallas) installed a 14.74kw solar energy system made up of 44 LG 335-watt panels at my home in Dallas/Carrollton. A professional crew of installers and electricians worked for most of a day to complete the project on a Monday. In addition, my home (built in 1982) required a new electrical panel being it was outdated and insufficient. Customer service is a high priority with SunPro Solar and is evidenced by their ratings and reviews. Check Angie’s List, The Good Contractor’s List, BBB, Facebook, Yelp, Google reviews and sites where you do research. A company with this record of service will see to it that every step is handled properly. This is one of the reasons I selected SunPro Solar. Thanks to the diligent efforts of Arletha Kent (solar specialist and sales rep), Paulina Castillo (project coordinator), and the employees of SunPro Solar, my system was able to go live immediately after being installed. It is already exporting energy back to the grid. This final step commonly takes several weeks to complete in order to have time to process an interconnection agreement along with other necessary steps. My documentation was processed quickly and efficiently (mostly online) through the multiple layers of approvals and actions. I need to give an extra dose of praise to Arletha Kent for communicating with me frequently during the six weeks it took from bidding to completion. I noticed other companies were often criticized for a lack of communication. Now that my solar installation is complete, I am even more impressed than I ever imagined. GoSunPro.com. EnergyPro review: My wife and I had EnergyPro reps Janeal White and Travis Kent begin our SunPro home solar energy installation by giving our home a thorough home energy audit (GoEnergyPro.com). This service is provided as a bonus for going solar with SunPro Solar (GoSunPro.com). PART of the EnergyPro package includes 64 LED bulbs/floods, a Nest Pro thermostat, water heater blanket, smart power strip, attic tent, and a year’s supply of air filters. Janeal and Travis also worked on sealing our exterior doors. (The EnergyPro package includes sealing leaky duct work and other discovered air leaks.) The LED light bulbs are dimmable and equivalent to a 60-watt incandescent; I replaced incandescent lights I didn’t know I had. Just a quick shout out to our sales guy Chris Rollit and his team of installers to the back office. Finally nice to have a company communicate and deliver in a timely manner. Great company and customer service!

Sunpro did our solar installation last month, it was a seamless process for us. They also installed a new roof prior to the panels, that also was handled well. There was even a little mishap with my driveway, and they took care of it without hesitation. Jennifer Rieck was our salesperson and she's very knowledgeable about the products and tells you up front what we should expect. Overall it was a great experience and a good company to work with. Highly recommend them!

Sales and Service

Chris T. was our sales representative. Found him to be highly knowledgeable in the SunPro system, equipment and operations. The installers (Eric, Doug C. and Daniel S.) were very proficient in the preparation, install and clean up phases. Jorge, the electrician was very professional and spent a great deal of time walking me through the electrical system and addressing the operation and safety features for the unit. Upon early arrival they found the area of install to be covered in ice. For safety, they washed down the ice and installed safety anchors. The panel install took less than three hours.

Making a difference & saving money

There were lots of things that made me want to move to solar power, the random price changes the renewing of discount plans or fixed pricing plans or average billing etc... at the end of the day when I moved in I was paying $90 on energy now it’s $180. I was fed up! I reached out to a personal friend of mine David Rosa the Solar Pro and talked to him about my situation he came to our home talked about the savings the cost the install the warranty the overall impact on the environment and I was sold. The savings alon made sens I know that I’ve paid for energy for as long as I remember but as soon as I’m done paying the system I never will see a bill from an energy company again just the accumulate credits from the solar panl system!! My bill on the first full month went down to $70.32 and that’s given that we had cloudy, rainy and miserable days! I can’t wait to get full months of sunshine and savings I’m excited about saving the environment I truly like the clean install and the look of the home now with the panels it’s really cool. I got a friend to join up as well as my neighbors they’re very happy with the system and are also anxious to see those little energy bills slowly disappear! Awsome workers

The employees that did all the work were excellent at what they do, Doug (lead) Daniel, Dillion, Eric,Taylor, Electricians- JD ,Nick.... Travis Kent, they were all very knowledgeble,very professional at their job. Very Friendly, would recommend them to anyone.

Great system from a great company.

Sunpro installed our 7.56kW SunPower solar system in March - 21 SunPower X22 360AC panels. I delayed writing a review so I could assess how the system is performing vs. expectations. During the first 12 months the system produced 102% of our usage and we're currently running a credit with SCE. I should add that we were very liberal with our A/C usage during the summer when it was so hot and I charge my plugin hybrid every night. As for the process, the crew at Sunpro was great to work with. One of the owners (Jesse) showed up on site to inspect how things were going. The crew was friendly, professional, and cleaned up at the end of each day. Overall, we're very happy with the installation and the performance of our system. Based on our experience I would highly recommend Sunpro and have done so to personal friends and neighbors.

Great job adding on to our existing system!

We had a small 8 panel, battery backup, grid-tied system installed by APS in 2010. It did a great job keeping things running when grid went down, but we wanted a faster recharge. We contacted Sunpro and Stephen Brendlinger came from Dallas. He was wonderful! He worked closely with us on each part of the project. We especially appreciate how fast he got back to us when we had questions. Sunpro installed 12 more panels on our garden house and an additional Schneider charge controller, adding 3.54 kW to our system. The installation crew was very efficient and polite. Joe Chevalier, the Master Electrician, was always available by phone and very good at explaining things to non-tech people like us. Victor in the Houston office did a great job coordinating setting up our net-metering with Deep East Texas Electric. Thanks for a job well done!

The team of installers Chris, Ryan, and Antrrro were very professional in their installation and friendly. Extremely knowledgeable about their products and work doing installation. Also Jeff and J.D. were very professional with the electrical installation.

Great Job, Team!

I had an excellent installation and electrical crew! They were polite, quick and thorough. Each person that I spoke with introduced himself and shook my hand. The work they performed was great and they cleaned up after themselves. It was a quick and painless process and I would recommend my team that consisted of Chris, Josh, Bailey, Jeff and JD. Also Diana has made this process smooth and enjoyable. So did the sales team!

Super solar installation!

I had a wonderful crew from Sun Pro install my solar panels today! The crew consisted of Josh Denham, Doug, Ryan, Jorge, and Marco. They got to work quickly, installed everything in my design package, tested everything, and explained the system to me. They took the time to explain everything in the process to me and I can't wait to get permission to come on-line.

Excellent service and warranty

I would not normally be so quick to praise a company like this, but Sunpro did an excellent job every step of the way. Starting with the salesperson, Chris who did s great job of explaining the whole process which went just like he said. Installers were very courteous and professional. They were all very punctual which is usually pretty rare nowadays. They also do very clean work, always cleaning up after themselves. Panels are working great! Highly recommended!

Best warranties

The solar consultant was very professional. I interviewed several companies and couldn't believe how many of them actually don't protect from the major risks. With Sunpro's 25 yr labor and 25 yr power production guarantee I really felt like I was safe going solar with them. A lot of the other companies harped on the 25 yr manufacture warranty and tried to trick me into thinking I was protected for that long. When Sunpro solar came over they went over all my proposals after showing me theirs and pointed out all the flaws of the other companies. Most importantly they are a roofing company (Buildpro) that had been in business for 20 + years and had a lifetime water proof warranty with the solar. That really made me feel comfortable knowing they can back up their long warranties. Sunpro was literally the last company I called but I am really happy I stuck it out through all the interviews.

We love our solar system!

We had been in our home 10 years using the same amount of electricity but our bills had double in cost compared to what they were when we first moved in. Our neighbor recommended Sunpro solar. Everyone was helpful and they worked around our busy schedules.

Excellent company, excellent service

After searching south Mississippi for a "solar installer", we saw an ad on WLOX for SunPro Solar. I called and within days, Jason Bennett was on my front porch. We spent a couple of hours while he inspected our roof and electrical panels and then we talked about the ideal system for us. I'm 76 and my wife is a bit younger so, we didn't want to try to "get off the Grid" and have to deal with batteries and complicated "stuff". Jason presented us with a system that is simple, reliable and will pay for itself in a few years without us having to put any additional money out. Jason answered all my questions and, as a retired engineer, I have plenty of questions. Within a week or so, the installation crew of about six men showed up, on time, one morning about 8:30 and were finished by noon. I've monitored the system daily, comparing the performance of the system with my expectations and the National Renewable Energy Laboratory's web site forecast performance and find the system working just GREAT! Would I do it again? Absolutely. And I love the 25 year warranty.
