Solar installation

Sunpro Solar was my choice because of their warrantees of the panels, inverters, and installation. They also price matched the competition which had a much less warrantee. They took care of all the details with installation, inspections and start up with Public Service Company of New Mexico.

The entire team has been great. I didn't realize how big this company in. I started my sales process with Ernestina, she followed up and did what she said she wound do. Tom Mosley, the regional manager was also great. Had a couple speed bumps along the way in which he personally handled. He gave me his cellphone and said call him anytime with any concerns. From the elections Tom & Jose are the names that come to mind but there were several others that were great. I interviewed 8 solar companies and ultimately decided on SunPro due to their customer service, unmatched warranty and friendly attitude. All around highly recommended!

Wonderful system

Installation went well, my 8 panels produce up to 16 KWH per day, with an excess of over 9kwh/day.

Everyone was very helpful & explained each step along the way.

Peter contacted me right away when I sent in my inquire about the system. He came out and help us thru all the paperwork. We had a few hiccups but everyone worked quickly to get the problem resolved. I could count on them to help me with anything I called about.

High quality installation, timeline as expected, no problems.

Went with SunPro Solar for a variety of factors: excellent reviews online, the many other residential installs in my area, and that the system was a bit over-engineered for our needs to take into account possible increase in our utilization and slight degradation of panels over time. The whole process was clear, transparent, and no significant delays involved. Very happy to be a net energy producer!

Excellent service

Contracted for installation in January, 2020 and due to Covid-19 installation was not completed until May. However, my first bill was extremely worth waiting for. Last year, I paid $265 for June and this year $40.40 (my electric company charges a service fee of $40/mo). It has been so nice to have the panels on my home! I love the energy saving items they included as well, and have seen a tremendous additional value from having a Nest Thermostat and LED lightbulbs plus they sealed my ventilation system from all the leaks that naturally occur over time.

Awesome experience

Paul Oxendine from Sunpro was a pleasure to work with. No pressure, all facts. I compared at least 7 different proposals and spoke to 4 of the companies. Even spoke with my energysage consultant to get their professional perspective. Paul was patient, answered all my questions, and the handoff to the project manager was seamless. Getting all the approvals and sending over pictures was an easy process. Install only took 1 day. Sunpro offered the best value when looking at price, financing terms, customer service, guarantee/warranty, and they definitely gave me peace of mind when making a financial investment of this size. I checked their customer referrals as well and everyone was pleased. I highly recommend Sunpro and working with Paul if you’re even remotely interested in going solar. I’ve had my system up and running for about 2 weeks now and it’s been awesome seeing the electricity I’m producing in the app.

Amazing solar experience with SunPro!

I am extremely pleased with my solar panel purchase. Especially the level of service I received from my sales rep Paul Oxendine and project coordinator Dominique Johnson. Paul explained clearly and concisely what differentiated his company from other solar companies and remained involved before, during and after the sale. Dominique made the installation project seamless and led me step by step through its successful completion. I selected Sunpro because of their energy production guarantee, workmanship and product guarantees. The other major factor is that they are a solar company with roofing experience. They have a whole other company that specializes in roofing. This fact gave me an additional peace of mind. The whole process (sales informational meeting, energy efficiency study and solar panel installation) was explained to me and went exactly as Paul described. I have had my panels for seven months now and could not be more pleased with the results. Thank you Sunpro!

SunPro Solar - Quality product, excellent staff

My 2020 New Years Resolution was to go solar in 2020. Sales rep Paul Oxendine from SunPro met with me in February and showed me some significant improvements in the technology since I’d first begun exploring solar. I got bids from 3 other companies, a small local one and 2 large national ones. Amazingly all 4 bids were so close on price that choosing the best price just didn’t matter. For us, the key reasons we chose SunPro over the others are these: They are a Gulf Coast based company with roofing experience and we live just 5 blocks from the Texas coast with regular hurricane threats. Next, was warranty. Their full 25 year warranty and production guarantee is comforting but only if the company is strong enough to be around in 25 years to honor it. This is where their regional size gives us confidence. They’re big enough to survive in a competitive market yet small enough to give good local service. With no HOA to deal with, our system was installed and operating less than one month after we signed the contract. The one day installation went smoothly and professionally. In the 7 months since, we’re on target to supply 100% of our electricity for the year from our own panels. Our monthly payment to SunPro is about the same as our average electric bill was so there is no impact on our monthly budget. It’s all upside for us and we’re very happy with our solar power system and with Sunpro for their excellent work.

I did a lot of research before I chose SunPro for our solar panel installation. I got 7 bids and compared them all before making my choice. SunPro was not the least expensive but I was impressed with their reviews, ratings, and overall quality. They are a bigger company with all work done by their own employees (no subcontractors – that was important to me). I was particularly impressed with their 25 year warranties including Roof damage/leakage (rare among installers). I was also impressed with their software which allows us to monitor our energy production and usage in real time (I’m a data junky). They took care of EVERYTHING in an orderly manner (paperwork, financing, applications, HOA, etc.) and kept us informed every step of the way (very reassuring). I HIGHLY recommend them (and especially Paul Oxendine, the Account Rep).

Awesome install

I love my LG solar panels! The solar installation crew was very professional and quick to install. They were done in 4 hours and answered all my questions. I’m very happy I went with Sunpro. I am already getting paid for putting referrals in the app which I am using to pay off my system!

Roof and Solar Panels: Communicative, responsive, efficient team

As everyone knows, monsoons come to Albuquerque! We decided on Sunpro Solar, Albuquerque team, to replace our leaking roof, because they were also placing solar panels on our house. There were initially glitches due to paperwork in the City of Albuquerque permit office with the first roofing contractor. Joann D'Amato, project coordinator, jumped on it and found Nick at Build Pro, who immediately submitted an estimate, which was approved and in less than a week our roof was in place. Joann was communicative and responsive to our needs as was Nick. My husband was familiar with the roof’s issues and had several phone calls with Nick. Joann called me throughout to update me. Nick texted our Deaf daughter to let her know when he’d arrive. The solar panels have also just been activated, and the Albuquerque Sunpro solar panel team also did a great job. Again, Joann was responsive and communicative. We needed the panels all on the top level and they determined how that would be possible. You see by the rating how satisfied we are, but there’s no ultimate description for the comfort the updates and communication were with the monsoons on the horizon. I am especially appreciative of Joann D'Amato and Nick's efficient team. If I knew the solar panel team, they’d have direct kudos as well. Thank you!!! Ann

Everything went well and we're very happy with the project. I have no idea of how things might change in the future but, for now, we're actually experiencing a saving on our monthly electric bills. I was skeptical at first but am gradually getting used to the idea that this program really works!

Love my solar

I went with Sunpro because of their “peace of mind” 25 year parts and labor warranties. That added to the power production guarantee where they pay me at double the amount my utility charges me if they don’t produce 95% of their guarantee. This was a great decision! All I pay is a delivery charge every month to CTEC.

After consulting with other installers, Sunpro was the most comprehensive in regard to specifics, install requirements and cost effectiveness. Install was earlier than anticipated and went off without a hitch. Personnel was friendly and caring about any concerns I might have and took care of everything while keeping me completely informed.
