These guys had to fix another solar installers, failing system on my house. They coordinated getting replacement parts and diagnosing the system. They were fast and professional and got my solar system working quickly. I highly recommend this company.

I reached out to Custom Energy after I had received a quote for solar from another company. The quote seemed pretty far on the high end. My quote from Custom Energy came in much lower! They even offered a discount for buying with cash. CE was never hard to get in touch with - they were always responsive and professional.

I enjoyed the experience with Custom Energy. From the start to the completion the communication was excellent. I was kept abreast of the status via timely email, which I really enjoyed. The quote was very price competitive. However, the quality of product and years of experience was my main deciding factor to award the job to Custom Energy. The only issue I had was the current supply constraints with the Solar Panels. With that, from the time of award to actual power production was ~ 4 1/2 months, a little longer than I was anticipating. The team at Custom Energy was very professional and timely with responses or updates and coordinated all the work with the permits, inspections and Local Power Company. Overall, I would highly recommend Custom Energy to others, or at least give them a chance to bid on projects.

Did a pretty good job at keeping me informed, though it did take alot longer than I thought it would. But I feel they did the best they could under the circumstances.

Some confusion over final inspection process, that caused an upset between myself and the town management. Installation went well. Workers were professional. Poked one extra hole in my outside wall by mistake but that was patched mostly well. Drywall cuts inside were not spackled up.

After alot of research on solar panals we decited we wanted sunpower panals. Custom Energy was the company sunpro went threw for installation. the whole process took about 8 weeks and was instaled in just one day, the instalers were very helpful and willing to answer all my questions threw out the process. Gracie with customer service has been so helpful with all our questions and was very good at keeping us informed on where we were threw out the 8 week process. I would recomend this company to anyone looking to get solar panals, they look grate!

We did so much research on choosing the right company yes for our solar and sun power and custom energy were the clear choice and they exceeded our expectations. Every step of the process was clearly relayed to us and our app is so fun and easy to use. Our solar panels look amazing.

He was stellar and outstanding with his knowledge of the solar power system. Every question that I asked he was able to explain. From the beginning to the end of our experience in getting our solar panels installed, we were always kept informed. Staff smoothly handled the permitting process for us with no extra wait time involved. The company carried out all the communication with Rocky Mountain Power and the meters were quickly installed and operative.

The installation of the panels was quick and easy. The crew was kind and professional - they even cleaned up after themselves! Custom Energy has followed up to ensure the panels are working properly and that we are happy with our new panels. We are thrilled with our new solar panels!

An independent salesman sold me my solar panel system five panel short. After a period of time, Custom Electrical came out and added five panels at their expense. I estimate this to be a $5,000 to $6, 000 expense that Custom Electrical paid to have done. One of the owners named Josh told me that he got into this business to help out customers and do it with integrity. He is truly a man of his word. Custom electrical has a customer for life. I truly believe if you have Custom Electrical come out and have work done, you are in great hands!

Josh and his crew were fast and comparable in price to the others, but had significantly more knowledge and expertise. And individual actually came on site and made recommendations for my house rather than just trying to match my utility bill.

I visited with several sales persons who wanted my business. I knew what I wanted and needed. I was surprised at some of the offers I received. Some were so expensive it was laughable. Some were lower, however, it included me installing the panels. Had I done that, I would have had limited guarantees. I went with Sun Power, because all the system was from the same company, the panels last longer and degrade less. The Representative was very knowledgeable and wasn't pushy at all.

It was an overall easy and effortless. They handled every detail with precision. Highly recommend to everyone.

Everyone did a great job keeping us informed during the entire process

Our experience with Custom Energy was very positive from start to finish. We took several weeks to learn about solar panels, inverters, production, interface with power company etc. When questions arose they were answered promptly and honestly. Installation was completed according to projected schedule and follow-up on questions/issues were addressed promptly. My only recommendation for improvement of the service is to include a more thorough explanation of what to expect once the install is done. As a stranger to the technical aspects of power production I felt a little at sea. Once I raised this I was given sufficient information by the company.

The whole process of buying and having solar panels installed was very straightforward and easy. The sales representative gave us a clear and thorough explanation of the nature of the panels, the cost, and the installation process. We felt we were getting the best available panels at a reasonable cost. The installation went as scheduled and now we are generating our own solar power.

We got proposals from several companies and decided Sun Power was the best value. The process was easy, including a last minute change to financing. Initially we had an issue with the app reporting incorrect information but it was quickly fixed. Our system has zeroed out our power bills (except small fee) so we are happy with it.

Custom Energy created a clean and unobtrusive plan for my home. Many of my friends have passed my home without realizing the panels were added. The system started generating enough electricity to offset my home use in March, and even on partly cloudy days it produces enough energy to offset my home use. I LOVE THE APP! Being able to see my solar production and grid use in real-time is amazing, and having the daily, monthly, yearly, and lifetime graphs demonstrates just how good these panels are. I highly recommend getting solar panels installed by Custom Energy!

I did quite a bit of comparison shopping for a solar solution for my home and landed on SunPower through Custom Energy. I was mainly interested in value, a clear process and guarantees for the workmanship and product. They delivered. My system has cut my power bills to less than $15/month as desired and it's fun to review the production through the SunPower app on a day to day basis. Custom Energy was great to work with. The sales presentation was informative and transparent without the expected sales pressure and the team that performed the inspections and work were friendly, efficient and helpful. I like to ask questions and follow up and everyone at Custom did their part to help me understand and navigate the process. We are very happy with the service and system so far.

Although there were a few issues with permitting and installation, Custom Energy went out of there way to make things right. I would highly recommend this company.

I used Custom Energy for my solar panel install in Hurricane Utah. They did an amazing job, from the open and honest salesman, to the quick and efficient install process. A good friend of mine in California raved about SunPower and I wanted to consider their product. The price he quoted for what I wanted was extremely competitive. I decided to go with Custom Energy and glad I did. They kept me well-informed, got the necessary permits, the Utah solar credit certificate and, when everything was ready, did an expert installation in a day. The installation crew was great and cared about their work. Custome Energy has been responsive to my follow-up questions and I would highly recommend to anyone considering solar energy.

I had a SunPower system (35 panels and 2 batteries) installed by Custom Electrical (Custom Energy). I found them knowledgeable and easy to work with from the project start to finish. The design and install crews did excellent work and took my concerns into account. Their work was completed on time and on budget. I would use them again in the future and I certainly recommend them.

I purchased a 20kw system for $64.2k in 2021. I wanted the best panels from a manufacturer with the best reputation. SunPower’s panels and equipment met these requirements. Their Utah affiliate, Custom Energy, visited my home within the week of my inquiry and provided me with a clearly illustrated proposal which said my electric bill would go down from over $400 per month to $30 per month. I was skeptical of course. The installation occurred three months thereafter with little hassle and done with precision in one day. Other electricians visiting my home said the install was the “cleanest” they’ve seen. One year in and my monthly power bill is just $16…yes…$16. It’s amazing and I am very excited to no longer have a huge bill to run our air conditioning which can run very high in Moab, Utah’s desert where 100 degrees is typical. Love solar and love Custom Electric.

I had visited with several solar companies and had selected a different one than Custom Electric for my installation. However, after making arrangements, I kept getting the run around and delays. So a friend recommended I check out Custom Electric. His recommendation was spot on. Custom Electric was professional from the beginning to the end. The installers provided a weekly update on the status of the project. I knew where I stood each week. After the project was completed, when I had questions, they were there to provide answers. This system size and cost listed in this review is based on a second installation where they upgraded the original installation from ten panels to fourteen. - they did both installations. In the initial installation a battery was installed. I am pleased with the service received and have recommended Custom Electric to friends who have asked about my solar.

Custom Energy has been extremely responsive with any issues. When there have been any questions or concerns with the solar company, Custom Energy has been there to work through it.

The installation crew worked quickly and efficiently and when they finished everything was clean and nicely finished. Our system included both solar panels and a SunPower battery installation.

Our system was installed in November 2021. Custom Electric is the dealer for Sun Power and did a great job from the initial consultation to the install. I was very impressed with every employee that I delt with from Custom Electric. They are very knowledgeable and professional. The install was impressive. They installed 22 panels and a Sun Vault battery back up in less than 24 hrs. along with all the wiring that had to be done. I am pleased with the system and the service. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

When we moved here in 2020 our first call was to setcup our utilities. Our second call was to Custom Solar for a SunPower system. They responded quickly with a quote, design proposal and when accepted, a schedule date. They showed up, installed the system and left after cleaning up. We added to our system in 2021, increasing the system from 7.3 kilowatts to 8.7 kilowatts (additional charging capacity needed for a new plug in hybrid car). Custom Solar was able to increase the size without any issues. As someone who has researched PV Solar extensively, I can recommend Custom Solar and SunPower.

Lots of companies out there are eager to install solar, but Custom Energy went above and beyond. They were quick and professional, but also repeatedly followed up after the fact to make sure everything was perfect on my end. I highly recommend them.

Amazing job custom energy

So much easier then I expected it to be done, and everything was done efficiently and I didn’t have to stress at all!

From start to finish, and even now, after the install, they have been extremely professional, courteous and had pricing that no one else could come close to. I am LOVING my American made, black on black, 400W panels and even now, during the winter months, I’m benefiting greatly from them!!! I won’t ever go with any other solar company on any other home I hope to have in the future.

I checked out a few solar companies. Custom Energy was by far the best. The representative that came out (Brooke) was very knowledgeable about the product. He answered every question I had. I was toward about the process that would happen and when it started, I was kept in the looped on everything that followed liked they said.
