Very Happy! Fantastic company!

I went researched 6 different companies and narrowed it down to 4 to get a quote. Sunny Energy wasn’t the least or most expensive. What sold me was the knowledge my salesman David had. He explained everything from step 1 to finish,what to expect from my system, the CONFUSING SRP plans. Once I signed Sunny Energy handled everything for us. The HOA approval, permits,inspections,everything! They also have a project tracking site that I checked throughout the process. I did call a couple of times with questions and either got an answer right away or a call back in less than an hour. Installation crew Beta did the install and were fantastic! They even came back on their own to fix an issue in my attic they saw on a picture they took. The final hook-up electrician (Greg? I’m sorryI can’t recall his name) is a perfectionist! He was also at my home when SRP came to do the final inspection. Everything passed the first time, as I expected from watching the crews! We also had a Zoom meeting with Michael and our engineer Maria. They both went over the operation of the system and the app. So now I sit back and watch my electronic bill go down everyday! I couldn’t be happier with my system and Sunny Energy!

Sunny Delight

I received quotes from 5 different solar companies before choosing Sunny Energy. They weren’t the least expensive or the most expensive. Multiple factors went into me finally choosing Sunny Energy. A friend had referred me to them, and he was happy with his experience. I was impressed with my salesperson David Vernon. He was very knowledgeable and responded to all my emails very quickly. Several of the other companies I was considering lost interest in responding after they sent me a quote. At one point during the sales process, things got a little contentious, but David took responsibility, which meant a lot and we moved forward. After several months, I finally made my decision and chose Sunny. I was quickly contacted by members of the installation team and my portal was set up. There were some unexpected hiccups along the way, but the issues and my concern were promptly addressed by the Sunny team. I guess you can tell more about a company how they respond when things go wrong rather than when everything goes right. I felt every member of the Sunny team really cared about doing the best job possible and they were all pleasant and knowledgeable in their respective duties. After the system was set up and producing, I had my final walk through with Michael McCaffrey. He did a great job explaining all the components of the systems as well as the do’s and don’ts. He answered all my questions and didn’t make me feel rushed even though I think we went over our allotted time. Melanie was awesome too! There were ups and downs during the process, but after everything was completed and I had time to reflect, I am very pleased with my experience with Sunny Energy and certainly feel comfortable recommending them to anyone.

Don't judge so fast listen and receive the facts

Honestly my first impression of Sunny Energy was not good, I felt overwhelmed from the salesman at first because we are in a new development and are being solicited often. We had just signed with another company for solar a few days before so I really was not trying to entertain " another salesman " I am now glad that Tarren was so persistent. Because I found out quickly that Tarren is very knowledgable and confident in the product and service Sunny Energy can provide. I am sure he wanted the sale but he has also been very informative and quick to respond via text or email if we had any questions ( which I did ). He ensured we got what we signed for with the other company and more even at a lower cost. Tarren and his associate even helped us get out of contract with the other provider and it was quick and easy to do. It made sense to us to switch to Sunny Energy, Tarren changed my mind on my initial first impression of him immediately . After we signed contract the rest of Sunny Energy team was fast and efficient always very informative. Even the technicians that came out to the house were great and friendly and informative. What I appreciate most about their service was they listed to what we wanted and also the amount of information they give you and basically walk you through each step. I wasn't sure about a-lot especially very unfamiliar with the solar process. Everyone on the Team always answered my questions efficiently

Solid Project Management

From the beginning to the end I can say we are 100% satisfied with Sunny Energy. Angel was our first initial point of contact and she explained the process very well. Every step was shown on a timeline that we could access 24/7 to see where we were at during the project and emails were also sent to explain the current or upcoming step. We did not question the project throughout the timeline. due to how well the project was explained and how well expectations were set. No surprises. After the installation was complete, we met with a well informed representative from the company who completed a walkthrough of our new system, explained readouts, variations of readouts, what to look for so we know the system is working properly, when to call the office if not, what to expect for turnaround time if something does pop-up. Needless to say, there is a plan, all parties are organized, and willing to help. We feel 100% confident with our purchase, installation, material used, warranty help- if ever needed, maintenance of the panels, and will definitely recommend Sunny Energy to our family and friends if they are looking to purchase solar! Sound Advice

I went with Sunny Energy on my home because my sales person, David, made the most sense of all the people I talked to about solar. He did not try to sell me a system that was too big, even though I kept asking if I needed a bigger system. Also, he was able to explain the impact of the utility company pricing plans, which in the first few weeks of having my system up and running is key to understanding the financial payback period. My experience with installation and setup was good. The process took longer than I expected but whenever I had questions I could get an answer from Sunny in a reasonable amount of time. I will have no problem recommending Sunny Energy.

Starting with the system specs and sizing it was great to me that Sunny was not trying to oversize my system or pitch unnecessary products or services. The portal provided kept me updated on status and all stages of the project. The installers did a great job. The panels are the best looking panels I have seen.

Fair Professional and Timely

The company from start to finish..from initial bid to install was professional and most importantly very very communicative . Their online tool that updated me of where i was in the process left nothing for me to fret about..Highly recommended!!

I can not as yet leave a review regarding the equipment, which I purchased from Sunny Energy, as it was just commissioned a few days ago. However I can personally grade the Sunny Energy process insofar as representation of sale, installation, and customer service. The Sale: From the time the sales rep. (Sean) knocked on my door, his representation was flawless. He was humble, thoughtful, professional, polite, knowledgable, and was quite sincere in my best interest. In other words, he did not try to ingratiate himself on me to sell me more than what I actually needed, something I experienced with another company who also provided me a quote for like services. He told me he would guide me every step of the way and that he did. I had questions for him throughout and his response time to every message I left him was actually impressive. The point of sale and signing of the contract was smooth and very convenient, as everything was done via email and Docusign. Grade: A+ The Installation: They promptly surveyed my house, provided me plans for an efficient system that was based on my usage history and future need. My system of 20 panels was installed in just 3 hours. The crew was very efficient, and the Lead was personable, and communicated very well in telling me exactly what they were going to do. He also was happy to answer all the questions I had for him throughout the installation. Grade: A Customer Service: In my opinion customer service is what separates the good from the rest in a competitive field. Just as in Sunny Energy’s sales representation, which in my experience was flawless, so was their customer service. Communication was a big part of this, as I consistently received emails and texts regarding the process of my project, or confirming an appointment. The communication was not only consistent, but prompt, I never had to contact them regarding the process of installation. Whether during the project regarding invoicing, or as a post project customer service follow up, every employee I spoke to was super personable. I could tell that these people actually like their jobs and the company they work for. Grade: A+ Sunny Energy over and above all these fine attributes is a philanthropic organization. Proceeds of their sales are charitable to very worthy organizations such as St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital and The Give Power Foundation. Nothing tells me more about the character of this company than this. It is no wonder why my project and interaction with everyone involved was well pleasing. My compliments to the people who run this company and the people who drive it, well done!

Best solar company in Arizona

We researched a lot of companies and found Sunny Energy to be the very best. Our sales Consultant, Graham McGilvray was extremely honest , forthright and never tried to over sell like the salesmen from the other solar companies we contacted . The quote they provided was the cheapest that we received for the panels they recommended and the entire system. The entire process from start to finish was seamless. Didn’t take more then three months . Sunny Energy took care of getting all the permits and approvals for us. We didn’t have to worry about a thing. The installation was promptly done in a matter of a few hours and after that Sunny Energy took care of getting everything connected and running for us. Lastly Micheal McCraffrey provided us with an excellent training session to explain how our system works . The best thing is that it’s a lifelong partnership with them and they will be there to troubleshoot in case any problems arise. Each and every person we had contact with at Sunny Energy was super friendly and extremely helpful. Couldn’t have asked for a better Solar Energy Company. Truly believe they are the best in Arizona.

After researching solar energy system providers and meeting with three companies we chose Sunny Energy to install our system in Phoenix, AZ. From sales to technical staff to installation to post-commissioning followup we have been impressed by Sunny Energy’s commitment to customer service. Before each step of the process we received a text message, email, and update on the customer portal. If we had questions they were answered quickly. The technical staff provided realistic solutions to some unique installation issues and were helpful in recommending affordable service providers to follow through. We had complete confidence in their ability to work with our electrical service provider and the city inspectors as we embarked on making this significant investment. We highly recommend Sunny Energy and we know they are there for us should we require their services.

Excellent company to work with

Sunny Energy was a great company to work with. From start to finish it was always easy to get in touch with someone if we ever had any questions. David the sales rep answered all of our questions and concerns. We got about 4-5 bids and ultimately went with Sunny Energy because of how they manage everything and they replaced our electrical panel with the project to be able to hold the system properly. The install process was very quick and CLEAN.

After extensive research, we determined that adding solar made sense in our situation. After additional research, and discussion with other providers, we determined that Sunny Energy was the best choice. Each person’s case for solar is different, but the math and physics are relatively simple. Sunny Energy proactively managed every step of the process from the initial engineering to permitting, installation, inspection and approvals through to commissioning. No hard sell, just results.

Working with Sunny Energy to design and install our system was extremely easy. They answered all my questions and Dave Vernon has been great to work with. He is very knowledgeable and if he didn't know the answer, he would either steer us in the right direction, or get the answer. Highly recommend!

Good company

From start to finish Sunny Energy took care of everything. Graham was our salesman. We had a telephone conference with him where he explained the system and the process with us. He was available throughout the process to answer questions. Sunny Energy emailed the quote that same day. We had several other companies give us estimates and explain their proposals. Sunny Energy had the best price and the best way to optimize the return of our investment. Throughout the process Sunny Energy took care of all the paperwork and permits necessary for our system. It took about 2 months from the sales meeting to installation. Two weeks after the system was up and running, Michael called and walked us through how to read and use SENSE and MY SOLAR EDGE. He sent us a copy of the Zoom session so we could review it later. We mentioned to him that we wanted the conduit in the attic or painted. They came out and did it as soon as they could. They were very pleasant about it. We decided to have it painted rather than being installed in the attic. The installers said if we changed our mind and wanted it to be put in the attic they would come back. Michael then called to check and see if we were satisfied. Last time I checked, SRP estimated that our bill would be around $185.00. Usually our summer bills are in the $300 to $400 range. Needless to say we are very happy with our decision to use Sunny Energy as our solar provider.

Sunny Energy Solar Installation

After Install: Ivan was fantastic! He explained the process without any overselling or overpromising. Any questions we've had have been answered quickly. We also had access to a website to monitor the progress of our solar throughout the process. Everyone involved has been knowledgeable, professional and friendly. We monitor my APS account, and have already seen a great reduction in our purchased energy. We highly recommend them. 3 Months In: Everything is going great. We've talked to several neighbors without solar and have been given information on previous AC bills at our current home. We've heard people paying between $600 - $700 easy with a home our size (2800 sq. ft.). We are a family of five. The kids are in online college/homeschool, and I'm a stay at home mom. So ... There is no "away" option when setting our thermostat. Bills before solar: April ($210) and May ($266 w/a few days of solar mixed in). Bills after solar: June ($127.84), July ($231), August ($247). We are looking at our largest bill in September. We may be on track for about $270. Our monthly solar payment is $221, and we know we're saving with solar. Before, we were scared of the costs for electricity we used between the peak times of 3p.m - 8p.m. After solar, we realized our panels produce the most electricity for us during those times. At first, we enjoyed APS buying (for less) our electricity during those times. Then, we decided to use our electricity for ourselves. We lowered our AC to more comfortable levels, and stopped sweating in our own home. If we left our thermostat settings the same (78 home/88 peak times), we would have even greater savings. We look forward to cooler temperature, so we can reap the rewards even more. If anyone is skeptical because of the monthly solar payment, just remember ... A car payment isn't cheap, but it costs less to get around in your own car all month (work/errands), then it would to pay for an Uber all month. It's an investment. At least, that's how we see it.

Delighted in all respects

We selected Sunny Energy after researching eight solar companies. We bought a 14 x 360W panel system, using a SolarEdge inverter. Their sales approach was forthright, without manipulation. Their pricing was not the cheapest, but fair. They communicated clearly and often. They did what they said they would do, promptly and professionally. We are delighted with the installation, and pleased to recommend them.

Great Price , Great Customer Service

I live in Phoenix area and have been taking quotes from various Solar Vendors including Tesla, SunRun etc. Comparing to these big players, I found the price very affordable. While Tesla had unbeatable price once upon a time, now they are mandating to buy a Powerwall which was adding a lot to the energy generation capacity showed. 1. Price For equivalent energy generation where Tesla quoted 28K, Sunrun quoted 23.5 K, Sunny Energy quoted 18.5 K 2. Customer Service I have a very bad experience with Tesla customer care even in the initial phase, Sunny Energy Sales and Support team responded very quickly. First thing is when you call Sunny Energy, a real person picks up the phone and talks to you. The response time was within a day. They give you a details of the proposal, walk you through the design, keep you updated on every stage of the progress. After installation, they also scheduled a zoom call with a person, who walked me through every aspect of the Solar including panels & their maintenance, the Meter box, customer care policy in detail. 3. Monitoring Sunny Energy website and the app is very good tool that gives you up to date information on how much energy is getting generated at any point in time, which could be equivalent to other players in the market 4. Value It has been hardly 20 days and the system has generated more than average power generation I would recommend Sunny Energy to anyone in the valley who is looking to go Solar
