I chose Sunlectric on the recommendation of a couple of friends who used the company. I like that it is a local company. The service was professional and they explained each stage of the installation and and answered all of my questions.

The president of the company came to talk with me, he went up on the roof to determine the best placement of the panels and also checked for best spot for the battery. When they did the installation, they were on time every day, and were very careful about wearing masks and social distancing. They cleaned everything up and the system in my garage looks great. I had a minor issue a week later and the company president came back, fixed it and helped me shovel my driveway while he waited for the battery to charge. Overall they were just fabulous to deal with.

Could not imagine the process going any easier. Stephanie from Sunletric put together an excellent initial proposal over the phone. Joe came out the following day and verified a few things and went over all of my concerns. Joe found a few previously damaged tiles. The final contract came in later that same day. The contract language was fair an concise. They were (by a small margin) the lowest of 4 responding bids (I had called 7 companies for quotes). The other proposals had much more complicated contracts that would leave almost no responsibility with the seller/installer. The LG panels I wanted were in stock. Permits took just over a week. Joe was able to find some replacements for my discontinued tile. Install of 30 panels with my tile roof took their 3 man team only 2 days. Their team worked carefully and quickly. They cleaned up after each day. On the 3rd day, city the inspection took only 20 minutes to pass. I can not recommend them strongly enough. I am so happy I went with SunLectric.

We checked with multiple solar providers before choosing Sunlectric, and for us, the choice was easy. Sunlectric is a family owned business, with very personal service. Stephanie and Joe (owners) were involved in the entire process, and I was able to ask and have answered all questions before deciding on our equipment and financing options. The installation team was on time, clean, and installed the equipment as designed, without any damage to our property (roof tiles, attic, etc). Working with Joe and Stephanie was great from day one. We had a 12.3 Kw system installed on the roof of our shop. Joe, the owner, came personally to measure and go over the various options. He made sure to come up with a design that was very appealing and made maximum use of the space on our South facing roof. We decided to go with Solar World 280 watt black panels and Enphase micro inverters. We have the Enphase Envoy system for monitoring which uploads our production data to the Enphase site. So far, we are consistently producing more electricity than we are using. I should mention that they were able to get our system installed ahead of schedule, and there were no surprises affecting the cost. When the project wss complete, We were given a very well put together binder with all of the warranty information, plans, permits and appropriate tax forms. We would not hesitate to do business with them again.

The team at Sunlectric provided us with outstanding service from start to finish. They did an excellent job addressing the solar goals, the costs, and time-table of the project. They do not use high-pressure sales tactics. Sunlectric staff are very knowledgeable, honest, hard-working, and extremely accessible. Stephanie and Joe of SunLectric did a fantastic job working with me and installing my solar panels. They were fast and they even facilitated a quick turn on by Modesto Irrigation District. It's working beautifully and I'm very happy with my solar.

First, let me say that I NEVER take the time to write reviews. But I am so impressed with Sunlectric, that I couldn't pass up the opportunity to let others know. First, after researching and speaking with several other companies, it was very easy to tell that the sales representatives of this company are the top experts in the field. They took the time to carefully explain the entire process and my options. They answered many questions that others could not. Second, their price was the best!! They are very upfront with their product, service and their price and didn't give me the run-around like typical salesmen. Third, the install crew was just as professional, courteous, and knowledgeable as the sales reps. I felt good about the whole process and am confident that I got the best company installing top quality products at the best price -- a combination that is rare in any industry!

Before finding Sunlectric I had already received proposals from 4 other companies. The first thing I noticed was how much more responsive Sunlectric was. Stephanie was very good about answering my questions and getting proposals sent over so that I could weigh my options. In the end Sunlectric provided the best value in terms of cost per KW and provided the best customer service. Sunlectric handled all of the permitting and my installation was done sooner than I had expected. So far my system is producing nicely, I believe I've made the right choice.

Worked diligently to complete a 26panel system in 3days. In just over a weeks time the permits and approvals were complete and we were solar. Excellent overall experience.

If you are looking for a Solar installer, look no further than Sunlectric in Modesto, CA. Joe and Stephanie are honest, straight forward and live up to all of their promises. We chose SunPower for our panels and a SolarEdge Inverter. Our installation was on time, on budget and very clean, both internally and externally. Sunlectric also helped us to get a rebate from the supplier to help offset the cost of our system. While installing on our tile roof, inevitably some of the tiles were broken. Sunlectric found identical replacement tiles and replaced all tiles at their cost. Three months after our installation we are generating at rates in excess of what was promised and watching our power meter spin backwards! In the end, there is nothing that Sunlectric could have done to make me a happier customer. If you are looking to install a solar system, go with Sunlectric and you will not be disappointed!

They were very prompt and very informational. Any questions I had they prompt to get an answer back to me. The people in the office that helped me get my panles were great I already sing an agreement and she found a better program and got back to me asap and got me a better deal. Over all a very good company to help you get your panels and do your installation.

If you want to feel self assured you are making the right decision to go solar then talk to Joe at Sunlectric before making that decision. I interviewed five different solar companies before deciding on Sunlectric. As a consumer, cost, return on investment, quality of the product and the actual work, as well as the benefits provided by each of the solar companies were the key factors in choosing which company I would go with. Sunlectric was an easy choice. They explain all the options as to the quality of the equipment as well as the options on how to finance the system. I chose to purchase the system outright knowing a nice tax credit would be mine when I file my 2017 taxes. If you have the means to purchase the system outright think of the cost of the system as an investment. For me it's like getting a 7% return on my investment. See if a bank will provide you that kind of return. Month in and month out its like earning tax free interest. They have other options but I like the fact I own the system and the value of my home has increased by the cost of my system not to mention my 7% return. If you don't want to own the system the other financing options are another great option. Either way you can't lose. Now for the easy part. Sunlectric handles everything and keeps you informed every step of the way. Joe the owner personally calls you and yes you can often find him on your roof during the whole process. I don't think you will find the CEO of one of those "big companies" selling solar on your roof or calling you on the phone to make sure everything is to your satisfaction.His crew is comprised of guys who worked with Joe when he was an electrician. As a team these guys put it all together. When is the last time a crew came to your house to do work and you knew these guys loved what they were doing? Like me Joe is a veteran having served our country in times of war and I think that reflects in his character. Duty, Honor, Country and it's how he does business. I can't say enough about how flawless the process was. Don't make a choice on solar until you talk to Joe. Oh and Stephanie his wife will always be there to assist you. Know that PGE Net Metering may soon change so acting now has a huge financial benefit that you need to take advantage of. Go with Sunlectric and go with the best. Ray
