SunGreen did a wonderful job setting me up with solar panels at my new home. I was able to create the kind of design I wanted. Once installed, their tech support (Benny) has been outstanding in helping me understand how I can monitor the energy I'm producing. SunGreen is great and I highly recommend them. Everyone who get's solar in LA should know that LADWP does not pay you for the excess solar energy you create and send to their grid. I am still happy with my investment in solar because I don't have an electric bill (just the $22 tax every billing cycle for being hooked up to the grid) and my property value increased with the installation.

After years of $500 plus Edison bills in the summer we decided it was time to go with Solar. In the process of locating a contractor we received quotes from three providers. 'SunGreen Systems' was the last of the three, and was better in every aspect. They presented multiple system options and were more affordable than any of their competitors. Solar is a bit of a process, but our Project Manager (Scott Escarega) was in touch regularly and onsite at nearly every step of the project. We ended up with a large system that will offset nearly all of our power needs. They just installed our solar panels and we couldn't be happier. The installers were polite, efficient, and neat. The unit works great. We got our first SCE bill since they installed it and it was -18, what a nice change from 285.

I am an Engineer. From start to finish of our home solar installation it has been very clear that Sungreen knows what they are doing. They are polite, professional, and very easy to deal with. Our electric bills have gone down as much as was promised! Also they installed better equipment at a lower price than anyone else I got bids from.

Everything you read from the reviews about this company, we agreed with 110%. We have inquired several solar installers before we found this company online. Most installers have those sales reps who just want you to sign contract and yet, they are not capable of answering any technical questions. Will you trust those companies who hire sub-contractors to step on your roof? From the initial contact with project manager, to installer, to tech support, to customer service, SunGreen deserves 5 stars rating cross the board. Not everyone will be benefit from solar panel installation. If you want someone who is qualified to guide you through the process and also deliver their promises, this is the company you need. We contacted SunGreen on the recommendation of a neighbor and we were not disappointed. From initial contact to a system that was up and running was only about two months including the delay waiting for our HOA meeting/approval. Timing was important to us as we wanted to get the system in before the end of the year. Our Project Manager, Conor, was knowledgeable, professional, and very responsive. He even responded to a question while he was on vacation in another state. The company was also responsive to our need to complete installation quickly (through the busy holiday system) so we could get the tax benefits for the current year. They also willingly got creative to our request for a redesign to avoid having to move vents. Conor guided us through the HERO and SCE processes, providing all the resources, documents and information we needed to make the process go smoothly. The installation itself was completed quickly within a two days and the workers were professional, responsive and left no mess. We couldn't be happier with SunGreen Systems and are excited to see each day how much electricity we have generated.

We interviewed seven different companies and finally decided on SunGreen. Conor was knowledgeable, polite, and not pushy at all. His information, pricing, HERO details, etc., were superior to all others companies with which we spoke. They were willing to think outside the box because my husband didn't want them to to move any roof vents so our installation was customized. The approvals were instant and the final installation was event-free and went quickly over 2-3 days. Our only hold up was our HOA Design Review Committee approval and the committee only meets once a month. The work crew was very businesslike and cleaned up after themselves completely, both inside the house (electrical) and out. NO PROBLEMS at all. It was very exciting to watch them test the system at the end of installation and see the spinning wheel slowly stop and go into reverse! Great job!

Normally I do not write reviews but after deciding to go with Solar power we obtained 4 quotes and eventually selected Sungreen to preform the work. They were professional, courteous, informative and efficient during the quoting process and during the installation. They did everything they said they would do and did it well! We could not be more pleased with Sungreen and gladly recommend them to anyone looking to save money on their electric bills.

We used Sun Green systems as our Home Solar System provider. Patty, Charles,Johnny and other staff at Sun Green were always available and helpful. They made the whole process from design to interconnection hassle free! Everything was done to our satisfaction in a reasonably timely manner. It was the best energy saving device we have installed. The SunGreen's service was great and professional. Since we installed the solar panels, we have saved over 70% of our electricity bill. The best of all, the panels are made in Taiwan!

SunGreen installed our 50kW system in 2010. It has been a great investment with payback ahead of schedule. More importantly, everyone at SunGreen (top to bottom: sales, engineerings, installers, and management) made it very easy for us. Our guests hardly noticed them here, and SunGreen took care of the permitting, approvals, design, engineering, etc. with very little effort on our part. Three years later, the system continues to work great, and SunGreen continues to support us.

We build our new house in 2012. In our previous home (2800 sq ft) we spend about $180 every month for electricity. We talked with Sun Green for solution for our new home electric saving. We want a system that just right not to big that would hurt our budget but also not to small that wont make a dent to our future electric bill. In the end we decided to install 4.6k watt system with Sungreen in our new 3,500 sq ft home. The result last month our PG&E electric bill is -$20, yes it is a MINUS sign not a typo, we got $20 credit from PG&E since our system produce extra than what we use. PERFECT. Thanks SunGreen

We installed solar by SunGreen since September 2009. After solar, we are only paying a dollar per month. As of today, the solar system is still producing enough electricity to power our house as promised by SunGreen. Their sales representative contacts us every now and then to check out whether we have any issue with our system. They are very professional and responsible. I already recommended them to all my friends and neighbors.

It's easy to recommend SunGreen, because from beginning to end, they were accommodating, clear, very professional and efficient. There was a lot to explain, but they were patient, always answered our questions and we never felt like we were signing on to something we didn't understand. It also helped (a great deal!) that of the three bids we got, SunGreen's was the lowest by a significant amount. Yet, we feel we made a great decision in going with them! They did good work with the installation, and always followed up, and we even received a notebook at the end with rebate information, pictures of the panels and other information. Now, we want everyone else to do the same!
