We signed with SUNation on 5/22/14 and were up and running by 7/29. Process was smooth. Was very impressed with the neatness of the install. They have kept us informed every step of the way. Excellent Company - Highly Recommended

Before installing solar I researched local companies on the ReLI and LISEIA websites and found Sunation's credentials very impressive. Their length of time in business, number of installs, and credentials of the staff exceeded those of the other companies I'd compared them to. They provided pages and pages of references including residential, commercial, municipal, and non-profit organizations and those I called gave glowing recommendations. The entire process, from sales presentation through install was handled with professionalism and courtesy, as was a call several months later with questions about the website. My last four LIPA / PSEG bills have been between $10-11/month. I am very happy with my decision to go with Sunation for my solar system.

Outstanding investment

I started my search on the LIPA website where they had quite a few company's listed. I chose Sunation because they did the most installations on the Island and were Solar company of the year. After calling and having someone come and give us prices. It was a no brainer. With no money down I am saving $100.00 a month. And we have a 0% loan that will be paid in 8 years and then we will save $300.00 a month. Sunation is a great company. We recommend them to everyone.

We could not be any happy with our choice to go solar and to use SuNation. We sat with two other installers but both agreed SuNation was the way to go. They are professional and well organized. The whole process from the first meeting to the modules up and running took about 60 days. They handled the financing, permit process, rebate filings and inspections. The work was done by a very professional team of people. They answered all of our questions and concerns. Communication during the whole installation was great. Watching our meter spin backwards is a great feeling.

My husband was the one who talked me into getting solar. I was not sold on the idea but now that we have it, I LOVE it!! First of all, Sunation is truly an awesome company. Every single employee we dealt with made the whole process extremely easy and seamless. They really handled everything and the whole process was stress free. My first solar electric bill was $3 (assuming that was probably taxes) so we could not be happier.

A winner with customer service

I'm very pleased with my SUNation installation. The process was painless from start to finish. What distinguishes this company from others is its customer service. When it became clear that the specific panel I'd chosen was on backorder at the factory, SUNation found an alternate supplier and even threw in a free extra panel for the delay. They also didn't balk at redrawing their plans slightly when I ended up having my roof replaced prior to installation. Installation was quick and painless--it took only 3 days and my power was only out for a short while. I've had the system for 6 months now and it's performing as anticipated (or even slightly better than quoted). I haven't had any maintenance or warranty issues. After-sales support has been excellent so far. There was a minor problem with the free monitoring system that they resolved for me in a few hours. They were also very quick in pulling up and emailing me records for tax purposes. All in all, a better experience than I expected, and the cost savings are spectacular.

Love My Solar!!!!

Who knows what I would have spent on LIPA bills the last 3 years!?!? I don't want to know. My bills are now $12.00-25.00 the most. Love it! The crew at Sunation was wonderful and they are there every step of the process. No worries, no stress on the project. They are very experienced and do a great job. I had the invertor monitor added so I can go online and see what my system is generating at any time. If I can ever afford it, I'd like to go for solar hot water next. Maybe one day, but for now, I'm so glad I did it. Go for it, you'll be glad you did!!

Efficient and friendly

Everyone I came in contact with was friendly, professional and aimed to make sure that every question I had was answered. They handled all the paperwork and all I had to do was sit back and watch it all get done. Can't wait for the first bill after my system is turned on.

very professional service as well friendly communication

I had asked for 2 more quotes from other installers. One company visited me and gave me a hand written quote and the other attempted to quote me over the phone. Sunpower came to my house, checked the site, gave me a written quote the next day, answered all my questions and generally conducted themselves very professionally. They were also very competitive in price. The installers were very friendly and explained the design and layout to my satisfaction.

I had a LOT of work done on my house that year. Sun Power was by far the best organized, professional contractor of the lot. NO surprises, a pleasure to do business with. I am happy to provide references for them.
