Exceeded expectations

One year of solar in and couldn’t be happier!!!! We interviewed several solar companies before this huge investment and nobody compared to SUNation. You will see the difference too. Dealing with this local based company has made all the difference! We met with Mike Copeland and he was well researched and knowledgeable on our house. He spent two hours with us and explained everything in such detail that we could understand. He answered emails we sent after our meeting and held our hand every step of the way. The installation was seamless. The installers were professional and friendly. They explained exactly what would take place and kept the workspace neat and clean. Everyone we have spoken with at SUNnation has truly gone above and beyond. We felt like a top priority at all times. Now that the panels have been in place for a year, we have seen the incredible savings. Our electric bills are $13. The panels have produced slightly more than quoted and we are absolutely thrilled with this experience!!

My Home Solar Panel Installation

This is one of the best companies I’ve ever hired for my home improvement projects. Their price was the best one among the offered by several Solar companies and I own the Solar Panel System. My Solar Panel System has been running just fine since day one, 11/16/2017. I didn’t know any of their employees beforehand. I searched online and checked quite a few Solar companies’ customer reviews and picked up them since they have been one of the highly scored Solar companies. I called them and based upon my phone conversations with them I felt they were little bit different than a lot of other companies in the Solar industry - customer oriented from everyone i talked with, honest, did what they said and said what they did. I had few concerns during the project implementation and they addressed for me via their mindset “customers are always the first”. My experiences with them from management to the Solar installation crew were great and they were very professional, well educated and disciplined. The work was very well done with quality and I can tell since I come from electrical engineering background and I have been paying significant attentions to Solar industry for several years. The crew said to me that they took honor for their installation jobs when I asked them why you did it this way and not the other ways and other kinds of install related questions during installing my Solar Panel System. Their CEO and the company co-founder Scott M called me on a weekend after the project was completed and asked my feedback and I told him that you were lucky having very good employees and mgmt teams working with you and you have large company’s quality client services processes and small company’s working culture, i.e. helping each other to make customers happy. I told him to treat his staff well and they are his valuable asset. With these employees they are going to reach to the next success level. And he told me that it took 15 years for them to have current well established work processes. By the way I never knew and had phone calls with him before. I should say that I was also lucky finding a such good Solar company for my Solar Panel System project since you may already know nowadays it’s not easy to get good companies for your home improvement projects. Now you should realize that you won’t get wrong to give your home Solar Panel Installation project to them. Cheers! Ming ------------------------- UPDATE MAY 2018: At the end of last year I wrote about my wonderful solar panel project experiences with Sunation Solar Systems at Solar Reviews website. Now I updated my solar panels status with real dollar numbers so you can see how happy I've been with my solar panels. Sunation installed my solar panel in mid of November last year. Starting from this March my monthly electrical bill has gone down zero usage (actually I have credits electricity generated from my solar panels) and I’ve only paid the service charges which is $11ish ever since. That being said my yearly electrical bill cost will be around $140 and in seven-eight years my solar panel investment cost will be completely paid back. After that my solar panels will make money for me, i.e. several thousand dollars per year.

Best Decision I ever made is to go Solar

Steve Foley who lives in our neighborhood was very helpful from the start to installation of the solar system. All the necessary permits were obtained by SUNation. Installation was completed with in two months after I signed the contract. Installation crew did an excellent job and the system is in operation for 10 months with no problem. The finance department was very helpful in providing necessary tax forms during the tax season. The entire staff of SUNation is dedicated to providing excellent service in addition to preserving the environment for future generations.

BEST COMPANY TO USE FOR SOLAR

From talking to the sales rep to getting the installation this was the easiest company to deal with! Sunation did such a great job on my system. They installed this the other day it was done by 3pm and running no mess the guys were so nice and helpful it was a pleasure to have them here. The sales person John was awesome and sold me what I needed at a great price and was so knowledgable it was great! If your thinking solar these are the guys to use!!!! I spoke with others and no other company came close to them!

To the people of SUNation, My Solar System was installed on 5/27/16. I'd done my homework on solar power, and met with a few companies besides SUNation. I met with Solar Site Evaluator Tom Connolly. He was knowledgeable and didn't try pressuring me to sign immediately. He also didn't try being phony with me by acting like we were best buddies since forever. He's a down to earth regular guy. I became very partial to SUNation after reading the many positive reviews on the company and it's team. I experienced some unprofessionalism with the competition while informing them of my decision for installation with SUNation. The salespersons attitudes became condescending, for example by telling me my house was going to burn down by using solaredge inverter, another sales person telling me what a mistake I was making by choosing SUNation's system. I was being fed a host of lies while they didn't realize I did my homework and I was very capable of making my own decision. That was the first indication I was glad I selected SUNation. I was kept fully in the loop with every step of the way since signing the contract. Maria, Victoria, Beth, Tammy and Gina.....you all were very friendly, informed, and quickly addressed any concerns I had. I greatly appreciated communications and assistance from all of you! Another indication I was happy to select SUNation. On installation day, Nick, Jeff, Kyle and Mike K. were at my doorstep ready to go...they explained every detail and layout of the installation and asked me if I was pleased with a few minor changes in layout. They actually seemed to enjoy their work as well as working with each other. They really cared about doing a professional job. And they left behind a complete solar system...nothing else. Happy again to have chosen SUNation! Installation was completed in 7 hours! Oh did I mention CEO Scott Maskin called personally to thank me for selecting SUNation. I appreciated the gesture! SUNation, is a professionally run company where the team members truly care about customer satisfaction. Everyone I had contact with was friendly, courteous, pleasantly informal yet professional. Great Experience

Did research and spoke with many people who had solar panels placed. Looked at numerous companies but SUNation kept getting the best comments. Met with Bill Auth, solar site evaluator, in August and we discussed system design and financial options. SUNation has a streamlined process involving drawing up actual site plans, obtaining permits and having the system installed by a wonderful crew all the while being kept informed of progress by the home office staff including Lynn, Gina, Victoria, co-founder Scott Maskin and others. The system was generating power by December. This is a vibrant, growing Long Island based company and I have already recommended them to neighbors and friends. I believe you'll be pleased when you have SUNation place your solar panels and system.

We just had our solar system installed by SunNation Solar. They were great from the initial sales call, through processing the paperwork, and finally the installation. They took care of all the details, provided weekly status on progress, and did a very good job during the installation. We are very happy with everyone we worked with at SunNation.

Honestly, dealing with SuNation was a great experience. They are extremely thorough and I cannot say enough good things about the company. They are very patient and explained everything to me in detail. They were very clean, left no mess and very fastidious with their workmanship. They worked with me every step of the way and I would recommend them to anyone as opposed to those other solar companies that are more fly by night shops. They have been in business for many years and thatwas one of my deciding factors besides several recommendations.

From the salesman to the installation crew I could not be more happy . Everything they said they would do they did and there was not one hidden charge. And at one point they discussed with me a part of the installation and I requested they they take the more difficult way to please my wife and they complied without any arguement and there still was no additional charge. They started and finished on the dates they said and cleaned up every day when done . They never had any kind of a mess as they kept the work area free of debris all the time. When the job was completed they went over the system with me and explained how everything worked. As the job was going if I asked a question they would stop and answer it right away and always with a smile.

I thought about going solar for while now. I researched many companies and met with a couple. Everything with Sunation went exactly how they said it would. The paperwork was totally done by them. Anytime I had a question they answered it completely. Anytime I called I actually talked to the person I need to talk with. They were with me the whole time. I'd get update emails every week or two about the stage of my permit. The installation was amazing. The guys were punctual and extremely neat. The install went exactly like the renderings that were given to me. I can't say enough about the professionalism of this company. This was a big undertaking and I picked the right company to do it with. Also, I didn't spend a dime out if pocket. They arranged a no interest, short term loan while I wait for the tax rebates to come in and the balance is a low interest loan with NYS. I'd recommend this company to anyone!
